@@StarrySky- You do realise they do the exact same thing in the Cocolia boss fight? Whenever she uses her 'falling star' type attack for the first time, the music skips to the "We made a choice..." part to match it. So yes, it is scripted.

I dont think so you sure you hear it correctly or did you match it up again when the falling star attack or you meant the 2nd phase type music you do know each phase have a different music so once that song is finished and the phase your on is still the same they just goin on repeat actually so its not scripted sure in every phase starts
And this is why the only time you go 2x speed on bosses is when you’re refighting them in Echoes of War. The first time you fight a boss, you *LET THE MUSIC COOK, GOD DAMN IT*
Glad I'm not the only one that went normal speed for this fight (and other boss fights). I'm used to 2x so it feels slow and sluggish but the music and animations are completely worth it. It sucks that I ended up dying on her third phase though. I was NOT ready for how strong she would be as a story boss.
This is why I play on 1x speed Also so I can see what the hell is going on cause I genuinely cannot keep up on 2x, especially with ults which like Start as fast as they end

I don't even do it on echoes in cocolia's case. it takes like 1-2 min max even in slow mode, why speed it up for >30 seconds worth of time at most
This is why I never fight major boss with 2x speed, so many moments like this where the music sync perfectly
