This is their best live DVD. So many good songs and they are just vibing off eachother on every song. As for the boat - usually it was Flake who went :D. But sometimes other members went too, I think Gill's the only one who never tried. (I might be wrong about that)
@@xsezz Honestly, seeing how I enjoy your videos on Rammstein, including the half-hour long making of reactions - I'd fucking pay you to watch your reaction to the whole god damn thing :D
@@Black3142 LoL! Thank you! I'm planning a Patreon at 1000 subs... If I'm not mistaken I can upload full videos there. Either way, I'm probably gonna go through all the songs from Volkerball as it's highly requested. :)
Saw "Völkerball" live in Berlin. They played in an arena called Velodrom and the sound was even better than on DVD. This tour was next level Rammstein. Everything was a banger and I struck a concrete pillar with my head all the time 'cause I couldn't stop banging. It was loud as fuck and still the best concert I visited, ever. Stripped was the perfect ending, the vibe on that was abolutely amazing. I wish you could have been there. I can't forget about the vibe on that concert. It was a mainstream concert without mainstream people. No smartphone, no tourists, everyone's just banging.
Men i really lovea ur reactions keep it like that i follow rammstein since 2006 keep it up bro i love vorkerballs 2004 mutther tour 2001 and everythhing
"Suspender shorts", lol? They're called Lederhosen, and Till, Paul and Flake are wearing them (with varying hem lengths). Another awesome song from the same concert is the incomparable "Reise, Reise". I have used it as my alarm for years...no better way to start the morning.
Man, how dare you to pause this vídeo while the instrumental goes on. Its the BEST PART OF THE MUSIC, you just killed our vibe!! So sad that Rammstein didnt put this version on youtube...
Such a great show! I love how the song takes a break during the boat ride and how it builds up to the last chorus after. Such hype 😆😎 Oliver rode the boat throughout the tour - and even fell out a couple of times 😂 They've used the boat for different song during different tours. In '98 it was Flake riding around during Seemann (not sure why I didn't suggest that back then), and he fell out quite often too. Till thought it was hilarious when he sometimes was sent way back where there weren't any more people left and he' d fall down. Once he even was dropped on the other side of the fence, so he had to walk all around the venue to get back. All Till could see was like Flake dissappearing down a waterfall 😂😂 There's actually a video out with all the accidents they had with the boat, not sure if it's spoiler free or not though.
Hey Stine. It's not a full fail compilation but I've included some fails from the boat ride in a live video with lyrics (won't name the song so I don't spoil but you'll know it if you look at my page) so he'll see them when he gets there in a couple of months lol! I think it's got the bit that you commented linked in it too!
LoL, that's quite funny. I was also wondering what would happen if they never "return" him to the stage but someone posted in another comment that they simply won't continue playing, LoL! Must be a sick feeling riding a sea of people. :)
The crazy thing about this cover is, Depeche Mode uploaded their version about 12 years ago and have 21 Mio views. Rammstein uploaded their cover two year ago and already have 16 million.
This Völkerball concert is must see. I have couple songs for you to react from this concert: Reise Reise, Los, Morgernstern & Stein um Stein. But I'm not sure if that you can find these on youtube.
I'll have to check them out. I found this video on Vimeo. I'm' guessing the rest are there as well. It just sucks you can't upload anything from this concert to CZcams without it being instantly taken down, hence the filter. Also, I already checked out Morgernstern on this channel: czcams.com/video/0AIvWzlwj7A/video.html
I went to my first Rammstein Concert in Wuhlheide, Berlin (is from Denmark) a few weeks before This was recorded. The Best concert ever (same tracklist). This reaction nearly made my tear up because I miss going to Rammstein shows (been to 7) and havent seen Them since 1911. If you get a chance, go see Them. It Will be an experience of a lifetime.
Völkerball (lit. "peoples' ball", dodgeball) = FOELKHER BHAL The German "V" is in most cases pronounced like the English/German "F". The only exception are loan words of non-Germanic origin (mostly from French or Latin), when it is then pronounced like the English "V". Also, umlauts ("ö") are essential in German. So when you need to replace them because e.g. you lack the letter on your keyboard, then replace it with its basic letter and add an "e" ("ö" = "oe"). :)
Also, this is how you can type umlauts on any PC keyboard (hold the Alt key, then enter the number code on your off-set numpad): ä: Alt + 0228, ö: Alt + 0246, ü: Alt + 0252, Ä: Alt + 0196, Ö: Alt + 0214, Ü: Alt + 0220, ß: Alt + 0223 (technically not an umlaut or even letter, just a ligature)
Vs are Fs? Really? Alright, I'll try to remember for my next Volkerball pronunciation, as it will most likely come back again. Thank you! No promises on the umalauts. :)

From time to time our Oliver takes a break from his life long goal of mastering the art of being invisible. It’s wonderful when he does. :)
