If you have any of these prior symptoms, go seek medical help please. I want to share my story and the symptoms so maybe it’ll help somebody. God bless everyone.

Thank you Kim for this info. I'm sure it will help many people. I think most of us ignore different symptoms, and just think it is a pulled muscle or something. I don't know why we tend to do that. You were blessed to get to the hospital in time. Thank God for your husband not ignoring it. God has a purpose for all of us. Yours could be to save many others from the dangers of heart attacks. Thank you, and God bless you.

I had a heart attack at 65 years old five years ago. Mine started with some back pain. I thought I pinched a nerve ir strained a muscle. I was taking some pain meds and using a heating pad for awhile. This went in for about a week. Then it started intensifying and radiating from my left neck down my left arm. Also had weakness and fatigue at that point. Called the doctors office and was told to go to the ER. EKG showed abnormality, cardiac enzymes were elevated. I was found to have a 99% blockage of the main coronary artery. Had stent placement too. Going for echo tomorrow for routine checkup. Take care and stay healthy ❤️

Morning after Christmas in 2011 I had my heart attack. I was 41. I got up in the middle of the night to pee and didn’t feel right. My now ex came to the bathroom door and I asked him to stay there. I sat at the table in the dining room, and we decided to go back to bed and lay down. I felt like I was having a bad panic attack. He saw my stroke my shoulder and my jaw and said that’s it I’m calling an ambulance. I’m 54 now and terrified I’m gonna have another. If I wake up in the middle of the night I have extreme anxiety.😢 You are in my thoughts and prayers ❤🙏🏻🦋

Maybe you could get hypnotherapy or something for the anxiety?
You've had anxiety over this for more than a decade and that anxiety has not given you a heart attack. Maybe you're going to be OK for the rest of your life?
Any of us could have a car accident tomorrow... it's not worth worrying over. Easier said than done I know... I'm a worrier through and through. But I have tactics to keep it small.

I had my first 1 at 37. I had caught chicken pox and was breaking out inside and outside of my body plus i developed pneumonia. When the chicken pox was getting worse i had called my brother and told him i may have to go to ER. I wasn't even off the phone with him when my chest, back and left arm started hurting to the point i actually collapse on the floor. I brother got there and picked me up and carried me to the truck. We lived way out in country so it was quicker for him to take me than to wait for ambulance. I get there and all they were worried about was how bad i was broken out and had to be quarantine. They were on my xray of lungs, esophagus, in every Orpheus of my body. I told them about the heart history in my family which is most of us has had heart problems. I come from a big family including great grandparents and great aunts as well. I grew up knowing a lot about heart attacks, congestive heart failure, etc. I tried telling them they need to check my heart! They wouldn't listen. About 10 years later, I started having some classic signs again. I didn't have any insurance at that time so i tried to do what i could to cause any more. I've also been dealing with RSD(Reflex sympathetic dystrophy), fibromyalgia and rheumatoid arthritis. I woke up late 1 night and it got me again. Very hard chest, back, left arm pain, etc to the point i was sweating bullets and my clothes were getting sopping wet. I told my son i have to go to ER. Im having a heart attack. He drove me to ER and they started all test, hooking me up to monitors next thing i know, im going for heart catherized and ending up getting stent as well. They had found blood clot which i felt it move from my arm pit to my chest. I knew I was in serious trouble. The next morning the Cardiologist that took care of me came in and said, "I want to ask you a question?" " Do you ever remember having..." I stopped him and said yes when i had chicken pox and pneumonia! He said "It had damaged 30% of the bottom of my heart. I wished I had pushed harder at the beginning the first time! Once i got on the right medications for it i did pretty good. I did have to go on extended nitroglycerin which made a big difference. Fast forward to this past Thanksgiving came down with flu, Christmas we both came down with RSV. Come right before New years eve i started having a lot of shortness of breath again, chest pain and pain down my left arm, arm pit, back and once in my jaw. It got so bad i was like a fish out of water gasping for air. Back to ER AGAIN! they thought i had another blood clot. Got most test done but after being in there all night and the IV collapse my vein before I could get another ct scan. I was feeling much better by then with all meds they gave me. Figured I'll be here all day now since they have to put new IV in and reschedule the ct scan. So i decided to go home. I was exhausted from no sleep i just wanted to sleep. I signed myself out, come home and had to try to carry on with work and all. Still having shortness of breath, chest pain, in left arm and pit, my back. I was starting to have to take a nitroglycerin at least 3 days a week trying to work. Final time in ER, they take me straight to getting heart catherized again and i was dumb founded! Not only i have all that damage but im also in early stage of congestive heart failure as well. My 31 yr old son has been in the end stage of congestive heart failure for about 3 years now and abot year ago his heart had went from 15% function to 13%. We've been trying to get new heart echo for almost 2 years now but most dr wont take medicaid anymore. Im his care taker cause he is not to anything. Cardiologist in hospital told me his heart could stop at any time. So I'm still in process of new dr, trying to get medications right and still needing a nitroglycerin from time to time. I had to quit the job i was doing cause it was physical. Not that I couldn't do the job but they wanted me to have it done in 2 hours. I was collecting trash at apartment complex 8 townhouses and 3 apartment buildings with 4 floors each. One was abot twice the size of others to. And take to compactor and run it. So im still trying to find another cashier job. I did find out on Thanksgiving when I called 1 of my cousins that i have 2 other cousins that's just as bad as my son with congestive heart failure as well.

I am so sorry you have been through so much with your heart and so has your family. You all will be in my prayers. I have a bad family history of heart issues as well. My brother only sibling at the age of 40 had a quadruple bypass from blockages. We lost my dad from my heart attack two years ago it was a second heart attack he lost about 50% of his heart function. The doctors put them on medication. They keep the other part of his heart good. He done good for 20 years then had another heart attack myself. I just recently got over double pneumonia. It was a very bad case of it. That’s been hard on my breathing. When I actually had my heart attack, I had the flu at the same time. I do understand where you’re coming from, because when I had the flu and the heart attack, they were so worried about the flu. It seem like they focused a lot more on it some degree.
