A GRAND 15TH YEAR NAMASANKEERTHANA MELA CONDUCTED BY SRI NAMA BAZAAR AT SRIRANGAM TRICHY FROM 18TH JULY TO 21ST JULY 2024.
The Sahasranama has a sum of 108 shlokas in Anushtup chhanda. In Sanskrit, sahasra signifies a thousand and nama signifies name. The compound ""Sahasra Namam"" may be interpreted as having a thousand names. Subsequently, Vishnu Sahasranama truly means Lord Vishnu with a thousand names or thousand names of Lord Vishnu.
