Nothing is more precious (to me) but, straith answers ! Sad in this case is only how stupid-shortsited the mindsets of such politicans as he correctly mentions is sad in perticular for the Ukrainian people who have huge senseless losses because, those politicans are unable to act instead of somnolent selfish talks !!!

Europe is divided on the military plan inspite Nato aliances. The Eastern former USSR countries are more aware of the danger than the western European countries which are the founders of the EU and actually may be also the wealthiest countries in EU. For these western EU countries the battles in UA are a far away conflict , same as for many US supporters of non support for UA. This war in UA is nevertheless of a lot of importance to the global geostrategical balance as China supports Russia and a victory by Russia in UA will shift the power to Russia/China and may even spark invasion in Taiwan by China for Taiwans resources and technological advance. A victory of Russia in UA will put also a lot of strain on global food supply as Russia will control almost all weed supplies then and eventually increase its influence / power in Africa, same as China is doing already by kicking out the US and EU in Africa. So there is a lot more at stake than only a regional conflict because it is all about power for China / Russia and destroying Western economies or at least dominancy. A defeat in UA will cause another major human catastrophy + massive immigration of fleeing UA refugees towards EU countries. The main objective is to repel Russia out of UA , settle borders by safety garantees after. There is a growing consent even in Russia that Putinism and autocracy should be replaced by democracy / free elections, / free speech etc as most Russians want to become a normal, acceptive state joining international trade / tourism / and not sanctioned and banned from the international econ forum. Nor the US , nor EU will intervene into the political system in Russia but will SUPPORT Russia becoming a democratic state instead of a war monger and dictatorship because that is a very dangerous outcome and will eventually also be very nefast for the empoverished Russians as well. We can help and support UA by military equipment / means but in the end UA will have to do all the fighting and that will only be successfull by having the best technical advanced weaponry as it has an big disadvantage on shere man power to Russia ...

No weapons delays did not cost Ukraine lives. Ukraine decided to use its drones on Russian oil companies and not the enemy. They had weapons, just didn't care about their own soldiers.
You skip the elephant in the room. Russia is still the second largest supplier of LNG to EU countries. That LNG powers the factories that make ammo and weapons for Ukraine. So stick to the facts and save opinions.
It is not advantageous to have US pay for Ukraine's war. America would have cleaned this mess up within a month and saved America money. Ukraine has no military.

American hesitancy is watched across the world. If Ukraine is not worth US support then neither is Taiwan, the islands and seas up to every other country's shores. Australia is not America either and is a long way away so not worth defending. Without the will to defend its allies and values, America is at best the second strongest military in the world - after China.
