Durga pujo is not only a utsav for Bengalis it's a rejuvenation of life. Sometimes I think the year should not start from Jan but from Oct because you ask any random Bengali, he will reverse count the next year's Durga pujo just after Dashami. Yes, believe me, we all Google next year's Pujo dates just after we finish current year's.
Durga puja is not just a festival, it is an emotion for us. We wait for a whole year for those five days of Durga puja. Then we live it up the fullest. And after that again a one year wait starts.

Maje karei, khana khaey or sath me thora drink vi jo puja me modern day me importan ho gaya hai. Or apne avi sirf trilor dekhe hai picture avi hoga. Reel or real mei bohot fark hai ake khud parkhe. I can breath the festivity in the air and the video just appeared on my notification. Pandals banne mein in fact 5-6 months lag jate hai. 1 month to kuch bhi nahi. Pura saal bhar ke shopping hum jaise middle class log store karte hai for Durga puja 😂 please do visit the pandals. It's pure madness. Meeting old friends, saying good bye to diet. Durgapuja is mainly pandal hopping in New clothes, eating out with family, offering anjali in ashtami morning, pujor bhog, debibaran, sindoor khela and vasan dance in dashami. Adding up Durgapuja to Bengalis is new books, newly released pujo songs also. Durgapuja is a nostalgia among Bengalis. And one point more, durpuja is pujor prem also. Durgapuja is not old monk anyway.
This festival is just unique, the atmosphere is freaking awesome.
