Tall poppy syndrome is rife in Australia too. Everyone is fine until someone starts kicking major goals. As someone that’s been here since 2012, I’ve never once thought you were over promoting your brand. Talk all you want about it gal, others still are and people will still support! Xx

Hi Shaaan as always i love to hear your take on this kind of stuff. Being a kiwi myself I know what it’s like to get the tall poppy syndrome. For a long time you feel like you’re not enough and then you do the things to make you be enough and people start tearing you straight back down again. Please try not to worry about it. My aunty said something one day which helped me with that which is “be the best version of you that you can be, because no one else can be you so you will always be best at that” as long as you’re doing that, then you’re doing great. I would also love for a local company to come out with lip oils, and I’m always up for an eyeshadow pallet with awesome colours that I haven’t seen before. 😊

i think that if you had a makeup product or a skincare product go viral on tik tok it would sell out immediately. for instance if you sent PR to a well known influencer who would post a brand review of a combination of products it would attract more people’s attention because the influencer would recommend it. i know obviously it’s a tactic so many brands use, but since you’re an og influencer and one of the best, you’d quickly be recognized! i have been following you and watching you for years, one of the only people i still follow from back when! i just rediscovered your vlog channel, so i’ll be here hyperfixating for a few months lol.

Hi Shan! I also have a pretty dry scalp, I love to use a scalp scrub (like an exfoliator for your head) when I wash my hair every so often, it really helps me 😊 been loving all the vlogs, it’s my favorite type of content!!!
Dandruff is a over production of skin on the scalp that scales off a lot like psoriasis dry scalp is something very different use a moisturizing shampoo and use a silicone head brush to scruff off and dead skin and avoid blow drying, dry shampoos and styling products till the scalp is healed. There is also products like Nioxin that are really good for dry scalp.

I would love a great brow pencil, and this is something I just purchase on repeat cos I always need it and if it’s one I like I get used to it and stick to the same one. Powder/bronzer/contour etc the same. An overnight lip masque would be great. I would love to see inositol from Eugaia, sleep drinks, gut drinks, protein oat/other (non ultra processed stuff, probs not protein powder cos that’s everywhere).

With the coffee, after you pour a shot you have about 10 seconds before the shot “dies” (tastes burnt) to pop it in milk, the quicker you are with putting the shot into milk the better, and also medium to light roasted coffee is sweeter, smoother and has more caffeine 🥰 ex barista x

sometimes even with my smaller channel ( ive got millions of views but only a little over 5k subs) on UnchartedBeyond tiktok i feel like such a broken record always chiming in to share ive got a video, or oh i went there to film for my channel etc. ( i travel and film haunted and historical places for tiktok and do paranormal spooky investigations!) but even now after a few years i dunno why i feel that cringe when sharing my videos to friends but sometimes you just gotta OWN IT!! :). be proud of the creations you have made, the content you've put out and all the time spent making your business :) there will always be those ppl that complain but they arent the ones that matter.. and its just something we have to accept and move on with our day! :) lately ive had ppl complain im making vids too short, so i released a few long vids and then others complained they were TOO long.. cant please em all! :)
