- Learning how to make a pickleball paddle and I try to make a super fancy one. I make three paddles. The first is a plywood paddle with a curly walnut veneer. The second paddle is sapele hardwood. The third paddle is made with a polypropylene honeycomb core lined with fiberglass and then topped with a mahogany crotch veneer. So nice!

Super high quality video. Can’t believe you only have 510 subs and this video only has 1k views !?
Absolutely stunning paddles but HOW DO THEY PLAY!?
So curious about the differences in play between them. Please, we NEEED a follow up.
How did it play compared to other paddles?
Making the world most illegal paddle… maximum control 100+, power 100+, & spin 100+. 😂
Glue sand paper 100 grit for maximum spin. 🤔
How do you feel about these paddles in comparison with market products? Thanks
Hmm... A mundane object that could be made into a bougie piece of art, just to have that ultra sexy feel in the hand?? TV remote!
Awesome build! Great job
Uh oh might have me beat 🫢😎
This is awesome!
I want a boujee pickleball paddle!!
Need a pair of these
These are sick!
Any links to where you got the honeycomb, edging, etc?
Just threw the links in the video description. They honeycomb is available on Etsy too but same pricing.
You need to patent that pickle jig 5000
Did you happen to measure the weights of each paddle? I’m planning on making my own out of some hard wood, but still open to using other materials as well
So the hardwood one i made was 14 oz and felt a little like a boat oar to swing. The plywood one was even heavier at 14.2. I would suggest a super light wood or if you do plywood, go 1/4" not 1/2". The honeycomb one was 9 oz. I linked to it in the video description.
the legs on my couch are looking bland and mundane. I wonder what those would look like if someone built some custom boujee sofa legs 🤔
