it´s so nice to see your face again!!! :-D fantasy romance is def glorious!!! i highly recommend The Blood Grace Series by Vela Roth... it´s a very unique take on vampires and the perfect mix of epic and political fantasy and romance... it´s slow burn, but so worth it!!!

So happy to see the Abercrombie love here. I recently re-read the first trilogy in order to continue on with the standalones, but I still haven't done that, lol. I want to so badly though!!
And I saw your updates about Broadbent's books on Goodreads, which caused me to pick up Daughter of No Worlds and I am happy to say that it was a big success. Binged the whole series in one go, haha. Can't wait to dive into her other book soon!!

Hi there Cass. It's good to see you again. I missed you. I did notice that it had been a long time since I had seen a video on your channel. I know exactly how you feel, for I have had to take a break from watching a bunch of BookTube. I too, felt like I needed some time to catch up on all of the kindle and audiobooks that I had picked up thanks to CZcams. I can't read or listen to books nearly as fast as some of the readers that I have seen. Right now my biggest obsession has been for the Japanese light novel series A Certain Magical Index, which has been such a fun ride that mixes science and magic and mythology really well. It basically takes place in Academy City, and it's from the point of view of a boy named Touma Kamijou who has a special power in his right hand called the Imagine Breaker. Anyway this power allows him to cancel out and psychic or magical ability as long as he can touch it. So it's really good. Also, I am just about to finish listening to my first book by Emily Henry called Book Lovers. It's a contemporary romance, which I don't normally ever read. It tells the story of 2 sisters from New York who travel to a small town to have an adventure. It has some great situational humor in it.

Definitely want to hear more about your journey with romance. I'm still figuring out if my tastes run more toward fantasy romance or contemporary but romantic suspense sounds like something I should check out.

Reading has always been a bit of a roller coaster with Mom life, right?! I’ve also been dipping my toes into a little romance and fantasy romance as well. I love a good historical too. I would love to see what you’ve collected on your romance shelves! Glad to see you’re back in action!

So glad to see you back, I've missed seeing your videos! I was in a reading slump from August until the beginning of November, it was a tough year in general so can relate to feeling the slump last year. Congratulations on the shelves and your new house! I'd love to see a video about your romance books. My reading has been all over the place this year but I'm happy with my progress. I've been reading more Romance this year along with Fantasy, Cozy mysteries, Nonfiction and Middle grade. I haven't read as much sci-fi but am hoping to get back into that genre. I love the UK editions of The First Law Trilogy and had hoped to read the first book in time to join in on the live show but time got away from me so hopefully I can join in on the next one. I read my first Colleen Hoover ever which was called Reminders of Him and that packed quite the punch. I'm looking forward to reading so many books this year though right now, the ones near the top of the list are: Song of Silver Flame Like Night by Amelie Wen Zhao, Kelcie Murphy and the Academy for the Unbreakable Arts by Erika Lewis, The Lost War by Justin Lee Anderson and Chain of Thorns by Cassandra Clare. Looking forward to more of your videos!
