You have a beautiful collection! I’ve been away from Chic Sparrow for a couple of years, mainly because I was focusing on downsizing my collection. We downsized our home, I have less storage space, and quite frankly my notebooks were just taking up space and collecting dust lol on my secretary desk. Now that I’ve said goodbye to those covers that we’re not getting any use, I’m ready to add back in sizes/leathers I have gaps in. But this time it will be a carefully curated collection which is what I loved about your video. When I first started purchasing leather notebooks I was all over the map and sizes, colors, etc. I sort of went crazy. I have quite a few from CS, Foxy Fix and every other maker that came on the scene. These were pretty much impulse purchases and also trying to figure out which size I’m comfortable in. But it got too chaotic because I too really gravitate towards the browns and tans and I like to display my collection but not with all the variety of colors I once had. I still haven’t settled on a particular size because to be honest I still have a passport, a pocket, a personal, an A6, . a B6, Standard and A5. I just recently purchased a Galen leather B5 for a project. I sometimes wish I could settle on one or two sizes because it can become overwhelming, but because I like different sizes for different purposes, I have all the sizes. I once had the CS buttered rum in a pocket sites which I regretfully sold many many years ago. So my next purchase will be a CS pocket-size in Austen Emma. I will also be ordering the No. 8 as I love the size and style with a snap closure and the fact that it has strings but can also be used as a folio. I find I am gravitating more towards folios versus TN’s, though at times I still want to have notebooks with strings. I haven’t decided which leather for the No. 8 but I do know I want to order one soon. I always worry they’re going to retire that style and I want to have at least one in my collection. I love how there’s so much difference in preference when it comes to the planner/tn/journaling community. I love heritage pockets in the pocket and a6, but the b6 heritage pockets are not equal in size so I don’t like them. I love the contrast stitching too but I LOVE the removable pen loop cuz I don’t always want the pen attached. And I do not like the old style stitched in pen loop. My favorite leathers so far r maverick and creme black beauty.
I agree! The size and pocket combo is so important!
I was shocked when the Crème Brûlée was discontinued since it was the most popular. Everyone went crazy for it, still my favorite

If you ever want another creme you can now request white stitching! You just reply to your order email and request it and Julia will reply if they are able. I don't think it's a guarantee, but they have not said no to me yet so that's hopeful! I do love those pockets though- miss those so much!
I've also done it for other leathers so just wanted to mention that it's just not creme!
