So, the big question, did we do alright for not being resto guys at all?? We skipped a bunch of steps after metal work, glass and bondo. If we had a clean shop we would go ham. Subscribe so we can buy one!
Most of us probably have a few different idea’s on how we’d of done things to that truck but thats part of the fun of watching. We get to pick stuff apart wile we sit and do nothing. Keep up the good work
Yes, do more restorations like this!
I can't wait for you to build a shop and do CZcams full time with all these cars you got
A budget referb is always good.. From a Grand dad a shoutout to your Grand dad 😎
What a great project! Time spent with Dad and friends!
You have EVERY reason to be proud of that!
Making the best with what you got is old school. No 40 hour "block party" and $250 a gallon paint needed to impress me.
I like it so far guys! I’m a retired Welder/Fitter/ Fabricator with over 37 years of experience! If yall need anything, I’m here to help and enjoy watching! Thanks for sharing your fabrication project!👌🏻👍🏻👍🏻
You guys should never stop EXACTLY what ur doing I'm a old stock car builder \ everything else builder it's great to see you younger guys doing it like ít was years ago
Awesome, thanks!!
Truck turned out great guy's. A true representation of what can be done on a budget in your own yard/garage. I think anyone who does their own type of work like this would be proud to drive it.I definitely would be.
Thank you! It’s definitely a head turner now especially when the bed is up haha
Never make excuses for the people that don’t like your truck, I love this project and yall did an amazing job! The critics need to enjoy your channel or move on! My opinion guys! I’m 64 years old and I think it’s great for whatever you need! 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👌🏻👍🏻👍🏻
Great job! Do it again. Frieburger says "don't get it right, get it running" I agree!👍👍👍
Right on!!!
I grew up in the central valley of California, and there were many tractor shows in many of the farm towns up and down the valley, and airshows put on by the local crop dusters at these shows too. Absolutely loved growing up that way, so glad the tradition continues.
Love your build, save from scrap, make it useful and fun at the same time. Good ol' depression era mentality. Good on you fellas.
I’m liking this version of your work as much as the auto zone engine swaps!😂 keep ‘em coming guys! 👏
You boys did an awesome job , dad too !
I'm 58, car guy autobody and paint, you guys did a phenomenal job !! Park that truck beside a new corvette or Mustang at a car show, and I guarantee, more people will gather around that truck, especially having a dump bed ! Big respect from Florida, I've enjoyed every video you guys do !😊
Thank you!
Your very welcome son !!😊
I'm very impressed with how far you guys brought this entire truck so far, despite it being on a budget and mostly half assed, like you said, this old girl turned out beautiful. Good luck to all you giys and God bless!
Wow a good restoration on the 1955 Chevrolet 3600 dump truck shallow wall bed. Running on Straight Six. Looks good.
Mad skills at such a young age. Imagine what you guys will be doing by the time you hit 30.
Sunday Morning Breakfast and a DDDT video!? Perfect start to my day!
Perfect! Enjoy breakfast and a vid!
I love that this resto was done the way an average person could obtain. Inspires me to know that I’m not the only one without a top tier shop but can still get it done. I really hope you guys take off and get the sub count you deserve however don’t let it change you. I think the dynamic of doing what you do with what you have is what’s lost in so many of the car CZcamsrs nowadays. Hard to relate to the million dollar shops unobtainable by most.
Also my first car (1994 XJ) had the Michigan Body cancer through the drivers side floor. Dad and I cut up a predestination crossing sign and fiberglassed it in place. Couldn’t tell inside until you rolled under the jeep and saw the reflection of the sign haha
You should be EXTREMELY PROUD of the truck! I've always been been into tri 5's, less so trucks But that Apache bed makes it a knockout!
@@vigt548 we appreciate that!!
You did right by me. You got another classic back on the road.
Not perfect, but at least you don't have to worry about damage
Awaiting your Next.... Don't Wait...!!
That truck looks amazing! Would love to see more like this. Great job guys.
This is the kind of restoration I would to see guys! 👍🏻👍🏻

Watching these kinds of videos makes the little things I need to do to my astro van to keep it on the road and looking good seem possible. Not perfect work but you end up with plenty of curb appeal and its on a budget. Just dont look too close.
10 footer!
Would love to see more of this! Honest, hard work with the materials around you. Awesome!
Great job. the truck is the year I was born. Like your style
I think it turned out great for what it is, and you don't have to be afraid to use it still. I love watching the process of budget builds like this. It's how i do my own cars. Trying to get the most out of not much.
For sure!
Looks great guys, thanks for sharing, Louisiana sending prayers and positive vibes to you and your families! 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👌🏻👍🏻👍🏻🙋🏼✌🏻✌🏻

Just stumbled upon your channel and been thinking about doing a CZcams channel but didn’t know what would be acceptable 🤔 but after watching this I HAVE HOPE 😂😂😂👊🏼🤙🏼💯. Thanks the encouragement 💪🏽😎🇺🇸
Tons of channels like this, only thing you gotta do is start and keep going!
I love that FJ Landcruiser in the shop !
She’ll get done someday!
Fun, looks good and it's practical. That's a Win all day 👍
Seems like the perfect ride to jump in and drive, like they were designed to be used with some cool custom touches.
I'd take this over a perfect restoration any day because you can actually use it
True that!!
I think it’s perfect!!! Keep doing what you’re doing!!!

That was fun!
Nicely done gentlemen, I am all for doing it on a budget and improvising where needed. My moto is “my car my rules”. As long as it’s not dangerous or a road hazard have at it.
Awesome video guys ! Rig turned out great love what yall are doin
Awesome thank you!
Dude! I love that truck. Those apache beds are hard to find. I would drive it and be proud of it! Might would have done a couple things different, but hey, it's your truck! Old truck was definitely worth saving.
Another great project and video. No complaints. You guys saved a classic truck and made it much better. The road signs certainly made it unique 😂😂
Look forward to the next video 👍💪👊😎

Thanks! Will do!
I would love to own it myself. It’s a beautiful truck. Y’all are doing a great job. Hell that’s beautiful seat that too blankets are not.
Beautiful working truck, perfectly executed👍🏻
Glad you like it!
Looks cool AF. Great job. A real truck you can use and work with, and not worry if it gets chips and dings.
Love it! The bed spears, I think, would look nice white! Cool channel, fellas!✌️
Awesome guys!
Looks great! Keep up the good work!
Great job!
I’d MUCH rather watch working men like Ya’ll doing the best you can with what ya got like I did with a few back in the days than seeing thousands of dollars of brand new sponsors supplied parts spread out on a couple of folding tables getting bolted on.
Be proud to be continuing a waining skill and art. You did it your way doing it how you wanted and built YOUR truck. Would others do it different? Well sure but that’s the individuality of shade treeing and I’ve found the biggest naysayers to be those who don’t get it done IF they’ve a project to begin with.
Anyone who could do what Ya’ll did in FOUR DAYS or four or fourteen months would be as proud of it as I hope you are.
Its perfect in my view I would daily that truck for a work truck
Wow..looks awesome, what a change - great to see this legend live on... Love 💗 it Brad frm Vernon British Columbia Canada 🇨🇦
Glad you enjoyed it! 💪🏼
That rig turned out sweet! And I'm a cheapskate, so I love that you accomplished it on a low budget!
