Omg I’m in love. Nobody else understands my appreciation for vintage scents. My favorite vintage of all time is Shalimar(try the bath oil I swear). Chanel no 5 EDC from the 60-70s is intoxicating
My mum had Opium way back in the 80s when it was an atomiser bottle with the lid as the actual spray button.
In the late 80's I bought a 100ml Opium while a student in Paris. I recently sprayed a tester of today's Opium & I was shocked at how different they are.
I would love to have a vintage Chanel on my collection one day.
Love Mitsuoko but I only use the parfum. Very pure. Second I love is the original Opium. You have great taste!
Miss Dior origionale is one of my favourites ive worn it for years

I enjoyed this so much. I owned Opium 1977. It was beautiful. I also wore Chanel No 5 EDC in the early 1980s. I also had splash bottles of it. Gorgeous (and cannot stand what it smells like now). And I was introduced to Mitsouko edp in 2018 and it is my signature. It is so intoxicating. I bought 2 bottles of Balmain Ivoire d’Balmain in 2010. Another gorgeous one!

I love many Vintage honestly Ebay is the best place for vintage even with all the risks you just need to ask many questions to the seller and request more pictures there is another risk sometimes the perfume can go bad and I may be a little crazy but it has happened to me that many vintage legit ones different genre they smell kind of the same but I love when I can compare the differences like for example sublime by Jean Patou is a huge difference between the old and the new and the old is way better others like lanvin I prefer the current formula

You guys have me digging around the internet for stuff I have no purpose to buy except to say “I WANT TO SMELL IT!!!” I tell myself I’ll stop this insane madness to have old bottle of perfume because it’s simply ridiculous AF!! But guess what? I start binging your damn YT videos and when I see your expressions and hear your descriptions I freakin cave like a recovering alcoholic with zero will power! DAMN both of YOU!! I should include Chris is this rant since he’s guilty of being a bad influence too. Now off to find Vent Vert before you do!!

Hey Maite! Have you come across vintage frags where you prefer the newer batches over the vintage one?
I don’t think I’ve compared enough of them but so far not yet.
I got so lucky on Offer Up. A couple of disappointments on Mecari. Vent Vert…it’s spectacular.
I always have had luck with Mercari I love mercari I have had found very nice fragrances.

From eBay I bought Chanel No. 19 EDT, an old bottle at like 80% full, and it has a sticker on the back that says 100 ml 80% vol 04 R. Does that mean it's a fake???
I have the complete same Diorissimo Version. I wondered because most of the other boxes are pink and white. And my perfume smells of lilly of the valley only. No other scent to find. And the lily of the valley comes very Synthetik And hard/brutal. The Juice is Orange yellow. Is this really it? The mystery?? Or is mine gone bad?
I love vintage perfumes are better that the New ones.
I just bought a YSL por HOmme in Ebay and I think is fake but smell great I like it better than the original. Maybe is not fake. I always take the risk my way is tray it on and is the only way I know they are fake or real. And I love to buy the minis the babys.

I was scammed on EBay with a purchase from The Russian Federation. Was able to get a refund. I have a large bottle of the Original Opium . Found that on EBay.
Yea, I try to stick with US sellers because some of those overseas ppl can be shady. I accidentally order the No.5 EdT from there and thankfully got lucky but I wouldn’t do it again! Glad you found yourself some original Opium, it’s amazing! ❤️
What did you buy? Yes, Russian sellers very often sell crap (sorry).
So very sad that the perfume houses make awful replicas of their vintage fragrances. We would possibly be better off purchasing the fakes.
All vintage perfumes are soapy, animalic and smell shypr and your grandma because they are spoiled lol All of them lost their original components and composition.
Love smelling like a grandma! I do agree top notes are more often than not, ‘spoiled’ on some of these vintage perfumes, especially if they aren’t sealed and stored properly. With that being said, the ones I own smell great!! 😊
