Just subbed Danny what a fantastic setup mate the clarity of your water is incredible so glad I've come across your channel very interesting smashing it great content keep it coming dude great watching 👌👌👌👍
Hi Sam cheers. Yes it would run the ez pond no problem, they say it would do up to a 2000 gallon pond, and the ez ponds look brilliant nice clean finish I have 1 as another tank in my other room, thanks again mate 👍
Hi Danny. Am thinking about adding one of these to my 9,000 litre pond but haven’t seen a drum cleaned using tap water. I’m just wondering if the chlorinated tap water has been a problem for your water quality or as I’m assuming, it all goes to waste? Great vid 👍
What floating pellets would u recommend Danny for when it warms up outside? For growing on small koi 3-4 inches at present, I was breaking up and feeding the garden centre ones last summer (maidenhead aquatics) but not entirely convinced by them so I just feed bloodworm atm. Cheers Great channel 🐟🐠
@@LeTwistedOne thanks for the reply and info Vince, is their a specific one? I’ve seen these before but in several varieties, I avoided because I wasn’t sure which to get. I’d assume they offer far better nutrients than the 2 tubs for a tenna from the garden centre 🤭 Thank you 👍🏼🙂
As vince says from twisted koi mate you will not go wrong with that man’s knowledge and take at look at his grow on tank his fry from last year are huge 👍
@@gmafh1315 hi mate they have a complete range but I regularly use the takazumi mix {50 /50 high growth and colour} and the easy mix {70/30 colour and easy (which is sinking)} and the junior premium 2mm sinking pellet for fry and small fish 👍👍👍
I’m running 1 at 8500 and the other at 7000 it runs a lot better at these rates, I run them at the full 10000 at first they were cleaning every 20 minutes I have got them cleaning at every 40-60 minutes now and it’s a lot stable now I have balanced it, at full power it emptied to fast you would need 4’’ bottom drains to have it running faster to keep up with the flow. hope this helps you out it’s a good filter when you get it balanced right 👍
@@Dannyskoichannel anywhere I can message you to ask more info as very little real experience out there. I'm set on a drum for my 1000l pond. Yes that's 1k litre. I like to do things diff, I have a skimmer and a bottom drain that I want to feed into it and will put the skimmer on its own little pump and the main pump will be gravity fed. Just hope that it will be ok.
Yes mate just send me an email go on my about at the top of my page and the email address is there. That sounds perfect to me what you are doing for the 1000litres that will be plenty of filtration 👍
Thanks very much Danny buddy 💯👌👌👌
