I have a Priest bless my farm. The equipment ,the land ,animals and growing crops. Yearly.
St Isadore pray for us
Love this show! I make handmade quilts to give to those who are ill or those undergoing cancer treatment. Our priest blesses these quilts before giving to the recipients.
Oh that is lovely Jane 😊 🏴
❤🙏
When I opened my flower shop, I had our priest come and bless it, inside and out. And I have crucifixes over both doors blessed by pope Francis at the 100th anniversary o at Fatima.🙏🙂
Please don't get tired doing this work we all need it. Thanks!
When we were kids we would kneel down and my mom would give us kids our bendiciones. My mom is now 86 and before I leave I say goodbye and I give her a bendición.
Favorite blessings
1. Blessing of Christmas Manager/Nativity Scene
2. Blessing of Paschal Fire
Watching from Ireland 🇮🇪
As Fr mentioned carrying around the oil for anointing the sick, the thought came to me it would be nice to see a show about miracles of healing in the church today. Sometimes it can feel like the spectacular healings of the bible are a thing of the past because you just don't hear enough stories of healing anymore, but I know they're happening!...
Here's a recent true story: A pregnant coworker was told she was carrying twins who had a serious health problem and she should abort them. She chose not to, and a friend gave her a chaplet to St Gerard with a third class relic medal. She and her Catholic friends prayed over the next months asking for St Gerard's intercession for a miracle. Long story short, both babies were born healthy on St Gerard's feast day!! This kind of thing happens more than we know - Heaven is very busy these days!
@@scarlet020100 wow! Thanks for sharing this beautiful story!!
Had my house blessed
I learned some new things so thank you. I Loved it when it was said at the end of the program, “everything is a created order, all things should incite back to God because they’re all gifts and we give them back.” Amen✝️This would be a fantastic homily. People need to realize waking up each day is a GIFT from the Lord, all things we have are Gifts, our Children are Gifts, etc. And we need to praise Him and thank Him. Enjoy this program. God Bless🙏✝️📿
I wish I could ask that one! I’m Catholic but also Native and was told to “stay away from alcohol - there’s a reason they call it Spirits” (that was told to me by an Angel) - then I was told the wine in church is okay because it is BLESSED and used in a ceremony. The last sip I’ve ever had is at mass.
If a person has addiction issues with alcohol, it’s advisable to abstain from the chalice at Mass. Christ is still fully present in the Eucharist.
@@CatholicTalkShow - that is understandable this is not addiction issues though. This is about alcohol being a portal for spirits or containing spirits themselves. People think they are getting drunk but honestly it’s what we call “alcohol spirits”. The hard thing is that I can see. I can see sometimes when things get on people whether alcohol is involved or not. I’ve been taking this to my priests - it’s hard for someone to understand unless they too can see or they come from a place that understands these things. I’m also sending up sons prayers to St Kateri and Nicholas Black Elk (this is helpful because he too was a Lakota Medicine Man). I’m coming from that. - hard to explain here/ - that’s why I keep seeking a priest to talk to. No matter what - Jesus is always #1! 🙏🏼🕊✝️❤️
God bless you so, so much❤️. You are very brave and very strong. Addictions are very hard.
@@gracepetersen1442 thank you. I don’t have any addiction issues. It’s because I believe I blessed alcohol is a portal - that’s why they call it “spirits”. That is a Native belief. So I don’t touch it unless it’s been blessed at mass. 🕊
@@TheLauraMarieT2 I see your point. The full blood, body, soul, and divinity are in the eucharist bread and you should not feel any guilt for not drinking of the wine. I do not drink from the cup either. Perfectly acceptable. May God continue to bless you.
Ryan Dellacrosse falling asleep was awesome! Thank you so much for the Blessing, for bringing Catholicism closer to many people!
Had they had a little refreshment the night before?
😏
I'm a singer, I sing in mass every week, I miss St Blaze blessing of the throat on Feb 3rd.
Our FSSP did the complete St Blaze blessing in IL this year so beautiful
They did at my parish. I was on business travel but my wife attended.
Oh my patron saint! And I always get strep the next week.
Wow, I loved the blessing for travelers. I was driving home from Mass, which is a rather long drive and there are plenty of crosses along the side of the road where fatal accidents have taken place. It was so beautiful to receive and respond to that blessing while I drove.
My Father's name was Blaise. We always observd St. Blaise's Day. Chose St. Blaise for my confirmation name. So did my youngest son.
I love the various blessings of water and other sacramentals on specific occasions, like Epiphany Water and Candlemas Candelaria. The coolest one is the Urbi et Orbi because it travels on television, radio, and online (as long as it’s love).
Great show guys!! Ryan D. - loved the yawn! Was waiting for you to say "B.O.R.I.N.G"! You cracked up Fr. Rich!! You guys gave great substance and great humor with this one!! Thank You.
Now looking for items I need blessed along with my house.
I had an evil spirit living inside of me. One night I came from work, and ask my mom to pray over me. She added holy water on me. Once the water hit on my head, I felt and hallucinated on my head something running away from me. And I felt a relief from me. The evil spirit left me for the night but it came back in the morning. I put more holy water and the spirit kept leaving me and coming back until I name it. The spirit was an unclean spirit. I never received an exorcism but I self delivered myself from it by naming the spirit. Holy water is no joke. Is a gift from heaven and grace of God.
I was at mass during St. Blaise Day and the had a laywoman giving blessings. My family went to the priest for a blessing. 36:26
Zegen.,,Blessing of food / beverage on holy Saturday for Easter 😊
"Let us pray."
"OK"
😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
I had to pause the video because I lost it.
Rev. Father, and the duo too lost it for a minute 😂
All said and done, the show was excellent 🙌
Me too 🤣🤣
Started watching while making breakfast- bacon
Can an item that was blessed years ago be blessed again?
Yes
Very entertaining episode. You, guys, always bringing up interesting things about our Catholic faith. God Bless you.
This show is just so enlightening and I can't believe how much I learn with every episode!
I can’t get my priests to come and bless my house. It’s so hard and frustrating. But we’ve got some 10,000 parishioners, and this community is on the older side. There’s always an old person that’s really sick and dying. And I get it, they really do have only so many hours in a day to help everyone. I just asked our priest again to come bless my home, and maybe this time they will be able to come!
Get some holy water. Go in each room and sprinkle the water and say, “Arise oh Lord and let thy enemies be scattered and let them that hate thee flee from thy Holy Face.” This will surely put evil spirits to flight. Or you can say St. Anthony’s Brief: “Behold the Cross of the Lord, fly all you enemy powers, the Lion of the Tribe of Judaism, the Root of David has conquered.” This is similar to an exorcism prayer. Hold up a Crucifix/St Benedict Medal on it as you say these prayers! These prayers are powerful and will drive any evil out. Then from your heart, sincerely ask the Lord to Bless each room of the Home. This will bring peace and protection. When a priest is available, you can ask him to do a traditional home blessing.
I have many influencer favorite priest Father Rich is amongst them. My favorite priest in real life is a Carmelite priest. Bless all of you always.
Special thanks to Howard. Great show Father and supporting team😁
A Priest can bless anything EXCEPT sin and what is contrary to the teachings and laws of Christ held up in the Doctrines and teaching of the Holy Catholic Church
Ryan has me laughing he just casually just looking at the camera and play with his beard
Bendiciones a todos! ❤️ thank you for another wonderful show
Great show at this point in history everything should be blessed
When I lived in the West having items blessed was never difficult. But since I’ve moved to the east I ask Jesus and saints, Benedict and Padre Pio to bless holy items.
Thank you Father Pagano for the blessing.gentleman May God the Father bless you always.thank you for a great show
I learned a lot here, thank you. Blessing accepted.
Thanks for the blessings, may God los bendiga mucho.
I’m still waiting for this guitar blessing….haha!
How old is this episode?! Lolol another good one guys. Thanks! 👍👍👍
Thanks
Hello!!!!
I hope y'all will do a Fiat Expedition in the south east next year. I really need something like this for my 18yr daughter and me to do together but it's just way too much to get to Montana and pay for the weekend. We are a one Daley home schooling family from AL. It's so hard to do worthwhile things like this.
Don't get me wrong, I'm so happy that y'all are doing this and it is very much needed in today's society, please keep it up. Just praying we will be able to do this one day.
I subscribed!!
Hi my name 👋 is Elizabeth and I am a new Catholic and I am so blessed and happy I should have done this years ago. Anyway thank you so much for all the incredible information re Catholicism the RCIA was fantastic but you give out a ton of info with every show. All of you are so handsome especially Father Paferno this makes learning a pleasure. I hope I didn't offend anyone but I am a Canadian and very enthusiastic about becoming a Catholic.
I love that guitar!
Yes La Bendición I said all the time
I think father Rich’s necklaces needs more cowbell with all that racket lol.
Lourdes water my mother sends a donation and keeps it on hand always
Our world would be different if alcohol was blessed! I’m truly believe! 🕊❤️✝️
You guys are so cool! 😎 God bless our priests & everyone doing Gods work...and even those who arent. I feel bad for saying this, but the priests that I know of in my area are serious older gentlemen. I wish we had some fun, lively priests to add to the bunch to help connect with our young men. They need it so badly! God be with you guys...and Thank You. 🙂 Keep Going.
Amen
I just got my first tattoo and had it colored a couple weeks ago, I just had it blessed this past weekend.
Saya tidak lelah, saya suka acara bincang-bincang ini Chatholic talk show, saya menonton acara ini dan tidak sadar saya ketiduran, dan tidak sadar henpon itu jatuh ke lantai.
1) Vehicles can be blessed.
2) Canon law forbids selling blessed items.
What happens when it’s time to sell the vehicle?!
Amen💖
Fun fact: Biaggio's Donuts (and Pizza) is named after the founder. I used to see him in his baker's whites walking home down my street growing up in beautiful Eastlake.
Oh yeah! Biaggio Cappadonna. He’s a legend.
@@CatholicTalkShow Nothing better than Biaggio's Doughnuts and orange drink at a SJM Halloween party. 🤣
@@MattKeoughMFK - A foretaste of Heaven.
Our church building needs prayers. We had heavy rain a few months ago and the roof over the sacristy began to leak.; it was repaired. Now it has rained all this week and it’s going to be a while before it can be fixed. I went to choir practice last night and the we could smell the mold. It’s St. Dominic R.C. Church in Oyster Bay, NY. , Diocese of Rockville Center
iI have had Anointing of the Sick and it's a powerful sacriment. I also had my car blessed right after I bought it.
Hey! That's conditional blessing 🥰🥰🥰
It was Fr James Altman who was talking about Exodus 90.
Another Learned Show! I do have a Question: If EM's cannot bless folks that have their arms crossed in the Holy Eucharist Line, what do you recommend they do? Also, how about the baby's that are being held by their parents? Aloha from Hawaii, Normand.
My Sacred Heart and Chi Ro tattoos are blessed.
I’m in saint Agustin I went to la leche church and the other Catholic Church.
❤️
my husband refused to bless me after sneezing once because he was mad about something stupid. I bless after sneezing someone mad or not.
My name is Ada Berrios and I need that blessing Father.
Thank you Fr. Pagano and your team for another interesting and informative episode. Please let me know Fr. if it is OK to use articles which are blessed online by a Catholic Priest during a healing session or retreat as I have been using the Bible, Holy Water and Holy Oil blessed online.
I know this show on blessings is about a year old but I’m kind of new to your channel and am enjoying it immensely. But there wasn’t a link to blessings like you said there would be. Can you please let me know where I can find the site. Thank you for this show again 🙏it’s very informative
I know someone who was healed with the sacrament, anointing of the sick. 10:56 11:33
I know someone as well. Very inspiring!
If I remember right they will give it to you before an operation too
At a busy parish, I always feel funny asking our priest to stop and bless medals or rosaries. What’s the best way to approach our priest?
Do you attend daily Mass? Usually less people there, might be worth a try or make a appointment with your priest perhaps?
Good Morning Guys. You all have grown on me and I enjoy the show. I'd like to know if there is a website where I can go see ya'lls profile, like what parish is Rich from. How many kids do Ryan and Ryan have? Are they married? How long? Just some simple introductions. Thanks and Blessings to you men.
What are the origins of blessing items? When did it start? Also, how does a medal, for example, lose it's blessing?
Probably the oddest thing I've gotten blessed is a pocket knife. It has a cross on the scales so I figured "why not?" My college pastor definitely got a good chuckle out of it but he happily obliged when I asked him to bless it lol.
So, if you are a EM and someone approaches you for a blessing, how do you handle that? This happens to me literally every time I serve, multiple times. Thank you!
I dont know if you mentioned it yet because the video isnt complete but my prior priest used to the blessing of the throats with the blessing of st blaze and the blessing of cars after mass. My current priest doesn't do it. I get my car blessed after any new lease. What are the specific times the priest should go around blessing with water. The tridentine mass I sometimes attend does it every time.
I know this is almost a year old but hopefully ya'll will see this 😊!
When you have something blessed by a Deacon, Priest, etc... by one in the state of mortal sin (you know for sure) or use a blessing that is used for a sacramental not being blessed? Should I have them blessed again?
In he beginning of the show, you said you were going to mention what only the Pope can bless. Did you get to that? Also, there is no link to the list of blessings that you mentioned at the end of the show. Thanks
Ryan D, how are you doing?
Could we get a scripture for all these blessings?… also one for the pope blessing people living in sin
Great show again guys 👍🏼 Hi from Australia 🇦🇺. Not sure if you have already done a show on this topic but I’ve read about ,and heard about, having things blessed in the old rite with the exorcism prayers. Eg, holy water, crucifix, Benedict medals, exorcised salt and oil etc….Apparently it’s more powerful blessings than the new blessings. Could you explain this please and is this true? I was told if using sacramentals for spiritual warfare then it’s needs to be done with the old rite blessings 🤷🏻♀️🤷🏻♀️
Hello, have you heard of Fr Vincent Lampert? He is an exorcist from Indiana and in one of his talks he recounted a conversation he had with a fellow exorcist. The other exorcist had encountered a demon who told allegedly told him that the new rite isn’t effective on it because it’s not in Latin. Fr Vincent told him that the demon could’ve been lying to make the priest second guess himself. That’s possible but I have always wondered if there could’ve been any truth to what it said.
@@carmelpereira6003 thanks for your reply. Yes I have seen that talk with Fr Vincent Lampert. I have learned so much from listening to him. It’s not something that is openly talked about, especially in my parish. I understand that we shouldn’t look for evil under every stone but I feel it’s so important to know about spiritual warfare.
How many times can you have something blessed?
This may sound strange, but I got a tattoo of the same Benedict medal. And I didn’t think priesthood blessed so I asked a deacon and he did is that legitimate? I case it matters, I am 70 years old and a practicing Catholic
I love this!!
How often does the Priest get incensed by the Deacon?
Pints With Aquinas has nicer mugs!
And a better accent!
@@CatholicTalkShow love your sense of humor! Yours is definitely better, tho!
Father, do you bless in English or in Latin? Is one more efficacious than the other?
Hi there, I was vested in the scapular over 25 years ago. Wore it for many years, stopped wearing it for several years and then started wearing it again. Do I need to get re-vested? Thank you and God bless you all!
From what I understand it remains blessed unless its been defiled in some way. I would double check though.
Those Coffee Cups are nice, but do Ryan S.’s humongous fingers fit inside the handle properly??
No. 😔
"Let us pray"
"Okay"
Can a Bible be blessed? Since it is the inspired word of G-d, is it fitting or appropriate for it to be blessed or is it considered already blessed?
If you cut married outside the church. . You can have the priest blush of marriage and that's what me in my wife did because we got married in the courthouse later on we had our marriage blessed
Can you bless Father Mike's tattoo?
How would one go about getting an item blessed without having a church nearby?
Selling blessed items is actually mortal sin. It's called Simony. The name comes from Simon Magus (Acts 8:18), who endeavoured to buy from the Apostles the power of conferring the gifts of the Holy Spirit.
The Vatican gift shop say they have pope Francis bless them, others tell me you can't send blessed items in the mail ?
Close but no cigar... It is not contrary to Canon Law (at least the Pio-Benedictine Canon Law which I was trained in during my long ago seminary days) One cannot charge more for an item because it is blessed, or it loses its blessing, and if something blessed or consecrated such as a Chalice or Altar Stone is sold in a public forum, it loses it's blessing or consecration. So if a priest sells a chalice to another priest, or someone purchases a chalice and paten from a priest as a gift for a seminarian, transitional deacon or priest, in a private transaction, it will not lose its consecration. Part of this is to prevent Simony, the buying and selling of sacraments or sacred items for profit or in an illicit manner, and to prevent superstition by believing that because something is blessed by a Pope or Bishop that his blessing (which is derived from God, not the man) is any more powerful than that of a priest who has the faculties to bless the same object.
When a priest blesses an apartment and then the person moves out does the next person have to get the apartment re-blessed……
HOW ABOUT ST BENEDICT?
Should incense be blessed for the home ?
Wow. Blessing holy water with holy water. LOL
When we could not go to church when we had Covid I had to get some frankincense and myrrh incense and burnt it in the house a lot!!??
I want to know the meaning of burning incense in the home!!
Does it make the evil go away or what???
