I have been asked to read this poem by Canine Partners, who are a registered charity that partners specially trained assistance dogs with people who have physical disabilities.
I wasn't sure if I would accept until I watched this. Thank you for the beautiful reading.
How beautiful to sum up ‘just a dog’. Those faithful animals give something that no human being is capable of giving. All my dogs have given me such joy and love and I’ll never forget any of them. They will all remain in my heart and soul for ever x

Beautiful poem. my dog is more than just a dog .my dog is part of your family after the saddens of have put our spaniel down your home was not a home with out a dog so left it for a while and got a puppy. Our house is a home now .so no a dog is not just a dog .
1:03 friendship, trust, joy, compassion. Modern society and humanity is not able or willing to provide to each other, we must find this in 'just a dog'.

Beautiful. And so very true. Dog spelt backwards is God ❤️. The only time a dog hurts us is when it’s ‘that time’ to say the final goodbye and let him/her head over the rainbow bridge 🌈 😢. Here is to all the dogs out there giving their unconditional love and here is to all the dogs that have crossed over the rainbow bridge 🐾 🐾 🌈

When God was figuring out what to name himself he thought of what creature represents his qualities. He just reversed the spelling so nobody thought he was playing favourites.
I would say just a human a dog is so much more Valued in my mind and heart ❤❤❤

For me this is as true as it gets.
When my little dog Fibs passed away my employer wasn't very compassionate even trying to make light of it, I made it pretty clear that there wasn't a being in the office I would have pulled from a burning house before my dog.

When ever I hear anyone say it's "just a dog or just a cat" it's always said in a way that tries to invalidate your connection with an animal, that is in fact your family. These people are just lower on the empathy spectrum and therefore I automatically trust them less.
Just a Dog?
