Nice review of the travel set, paper and quill brushes by Grabie. That travel brush looked particularly nice. Enjoyed your quick, spontaneous paintings.

Nice review, I bought the quils on Prime Day, and I am very happy with them!
Superior is not made by Paul Rubens but I think they riff off of Paul rubens packaging and even copy/paste their pigment names and codes sometimes. Superior paint is good for the price, but when compared side by side, they are definitely less pigmented. The netallicscare not quite as shiny and sparkly as Paul rubens. Like I said they are great for the price but not affiliated with PR. PR as student grade watercolors under the Paul rubens brand and Meilaing/pretty excellent trade names.

I enjoyed your review and color mixing. I find it interesting to see the different ways we can mix skin tones. You mentioned to me that you have a Gluten Free Bakery or Pastry shop in your metro area. Would that be the Parker area or the Denver Metro area? I am coming to town in the Denver area to see family next week. I haven't been back there since 2007. It might be a shop I could try. I lived in the Denver Metro area on and off about 30 years total.
