Choice fields in Power Apps are used to create dropdown menus or option sets that allow users to select predefined values for a specific field within an app. They are valuable for ensuring data consistency and improving the user experience. You can define a choice field by specifying the choices in a formula or by linking it to a data source. Users can then select options from the dropdown list, making data input easier and more accurate. Choice fields are commonly used for things like product categories, status updates, or any field where you want to limit input options and maintain data integrity within your Power App.

谢谢!很高兴这个视频能帮到您!
Hey Andrew, great video, really helped me a lot. However, I am still missing a piece. When pushing a forms, how can I influence choice fields? Eg. I have an form for different food options and whenever I add a new one, I want it to show up in a choices of another form field.
Hi Klaus, so in order to do this you need to store your choices some where. Some you can create a form of some sort or even just a simple single line text that writes to your data source. Your datasource can be SharePoint, Dataverse, Excel wherever you want, then when you populate your choices you just pull from that list every time. It's kinda like a "LookUp" type field.
Great video, thanks. I'm using the modern form control linked to dataverse leads tables but having issues getting the lookup on existing contacts and accounts to work properly. If you have done a video on working with dataverse tables, in particular lookup fields. Thanks again.
Currently the chapters are not working exactly in the video, will update them when I get a chance. Happy New Years everyone!
Got them up and running!
