Definitely didn't see this one coming 😂 who knows, we may see Temi make kunu (Tiger nut) drink very soon👌🏾😂
Nah making tenu is modern day slavery 😭 it’s so good though
Temi’s videos feel like a FaceTime call and thats why I love them so much.
About the alternatives to sugar, there are these cola, pineapple or pretty much fruit flavours that come in sachets and in powdered form. They are called Jossy. These are used locally in place of sugar but since I personally don't like refined sugar and these flavours tend to be too sweet, I get cane sugar(paneer) which is a more natural form of sugar. It's isn't processed and a little can be added during the boil to give that natural sweetness.
Secondly, when you do this again, use the peels of very ripe pineapples. They are more yellow in color. They tend to be sweeter and less tangy.
Your prep wasn't bad at all and I enjoyed watching. 🤎🤎🤎
She's just gorgeous 😭❤️
Temi please when are you going to start “The HowFar Podcast” again? 😭
yes, we love a consistent queen.🐻❤
Interesting.... Zobo in the Ghanaian language is called Sobolo.🙂 I have learnt something new. Kudos Temiii.❤️🤗
Where all my Ghanaians at💜
It's not Ghanaian or Ghanaian language! It is Hausa drink and word. The Hausas in Ghana call it Sobolo, hence why it's called Sobo in Ghana, which is the hausa word for the Hibiscus plant.
I love how you make your videos, makes it feel like we're watching you live, I love itttt❤
You seem like such a super chill person . Love your vlogs cos of the chill vibes
I'm drinking zobo while watching..... I drink everyday before i sleep
Zobo is a traditional Northern Nigerian Hausa drink and it's full name is Zoborobo/Zoboloto/Sloboroto etc... depending on your hausa accent the name varies slightly... And has been carried across the span of west and central Africa as a result of the nomadic settlement of the hausa people across African countries, so the name can vary subject to the accent and country, but the original authentic name is Zobo/Slobo.
we're both in love with Zobo and this video makes me happy.💕
yass queen you look good ❤️
Can’t wait to try making this 😍
‘Hello beautiful people’ gets me everytime❤️
I love you Temi and this video was very nice😘 we love a consistent queen😍

It the smile and joy when you got the desired taste for me😂❤
Taking this step by step really made it clear, making zobo this Christmas 🥺. Thank you Temi
One thing about you, you will serve quality content chile. 💕
You really really give me joy Temi ❤
Beautiful as always 😍
Oooo, looks good. New recipe to try ✍🏾
Love to seee how you do it effortlessly 😘😚
I love how you love color black 🖤 annnndd this video is amazing😍
You can use stevia as a sweetner , I usually boil my zobo mix with cinnamon sticks
Its my first time hearing it though
So I'm glad to hear it and see how it prepares from you
You can use brown sugar to sweeten it. Gives it almost an earthy taste. But you should try just zobo and cucumber. It'll give you Chapman vibes.
And we're waiting for your night time routine :)
The first step is actually done to remove any dirt in the Zobo leaves
Looks really good! I will try it too. We miss seeing you and Mr Eazi😍
One of my favorite things to make. Especially when you freeze it and make it a slushee 😩
Yes cheers to you for a good job done
Temi!!! I love your videos!!!
Honey won't give the mixture that delectable sweetness and definately add some honey flavouring to the drink. I think sugar, if anything, is the best sweetner I can think of. Every alternative adds some flavouring making it better or worse. My say on this is using the sugar is best and an unhealthy treat once in a while wouldn't be of long term detrimental effects.
You did great temi
Temi you away looking great, cute and adorable. Easy going with your meals and all...
Quite a natural/professional video...well done 👏🏾. By the way you look so much like your papa. For the sweetener, you can use agave syrup which is from a plant and mainly used in drinks with strong flavours which you've just made. Hope this helps
My love 😍😍
Love and Light. Thankyou. Enjoyed it 🙂
love!
Now we see why you watched the video of how to cut a pineapple ☺️😍its beautifully cut.
My mom and sister also use pineapple 🍍 and orange for flavor too as well as ginger
My gorgeous namie 🥺🥰
So why I think you had to soak first with water is just to rinse off dust and sand. It doesn't need to be hot water. Just wash off with clean tap water and sieve out with your hands, discarding the water with settled sand in it.
You can also sweeten with dates.
Ivorians call it bissap 🌺☺️ and it’s very sour, it needs a good amount of sweetener if one can’t do sour lol
Get your glass and ice ready! We are making zobo! #cookingwithTemi
So sit back, relax and enjoy❤. Cheers 🍷
Well draining the zobo is to wash/ do away with the dirt, you could actually pick them out next time before u proceed to wash, I love that u put a lot which will definitely make it smell and taste nice. You can also add the sugar and let it cook all together if u want.
you can try adding any foster Clark juice or jolly jus you like for sugar
Already listened to the how far podcast where u called zobo hibiscus cocktail and was very happy cause I learnt the English name don't mind them joor call it anything u like so far as it's correct they should just say they don't know the name instead of dragging u . Please beautiful temi teach us or speak the way u know so we can learn more . 🥰🥰
Hibiscus tea 😋
For sweetener, I blend the very ripe pineapple and pear/apple.
Whenever you’re in Lagos, try the Zobo x Pedro drink from SLoW, so refreshing. Would be perfect with a splash of simple/ lychee syrup.
I was rooting for you 🤣🤣🤣 ok turned out good...yea
I like the dress alot ( colour and style) , also im a clove addict during work hours. I want the zobo Herrin (bazin) i l enjoyed the video.
To make it sweet add plenty ripe pineapple, then eve cola flavoured drink(I don't know if that's healthy for you) but check it out
Coconut palm sugar is a healthy alternative to sweeten
You speak so good
you did well but washing it takes off that blood red collar, use more pineapples for taste so you don't need to add honey, and there's a food cooler I usually add for that deep red colour incase you decide to wash it
The best drink for the weekend. Healthy and delicious. Who said you can't eat your cake and have it? 😋
We call this Sorrel in Trinidad🇹🇹. Christmas is not complete without it.
This drink is called sobolo in Ghana☺️☺️
Could do with a glass of Zobo now
In 🇨🇲 it’s called bissap juice or folere
Mama🥺🥺❤️🦋
We call this Sorrel in Jamaica 🇯🇲
I’ve decided I’m def incorporating some of the Nigerian ingredients in my sorrel this year! Imagine soaking pine and orange slices, in addition to the ginger and rum! 😍
You did very well, no need for panick😄. Zobo is a quick fix drink, who does overnight? 🙄Unecessary I think coz the flavours wont diffuse more than it has in that boiling process. So you can jam all your flavours at once in that pot, no need to blend if you dont have time, it will still simmer. Sieve after few mins boil and you're good! Some consider the first wash a waste but it's ok because the leaves are sometimes sandy, so the type of wash you do quickly is to pull out the leaves out of the water into another container si the sand remains at the base. Cheers to more zobo making.
First time I made zobo I was shocked how much honey I had to use. I was also trying to be healthy lol. Next time I used brown sugar. It gave nicer sweetness
Beautiful ur self ✌
😆😆😆.
Thank you for the lecture ❤️😊✋
We call this "sorrel beer" in the my Caribbean island. Rice is added so it can be fermented. My favorite Christmas drink. Im definitely gonna try this method.
Which island? All Caribbean islands make it different. No rice or fermentation.
@@lotus9259 nope! Not Jamaican. 😊Vincentian.
@@mamaguile7587 I am ashamed .....you are Vincenrian and do not know that rice is used in sorrel to ferment or. Girl delete that comment and stop embarrassing us.
The zobo looked so quality, can I please have some??🥺
Hey Temi , I wanted to ask if your extensions are clip on , or you sewed them in ?
Waaaaw good
Pick the dirt from the zobo leave cos it always dirty. You can add vanilla extract for more flavor
MY WIFEEEE❤❤❤❤
Awwwwwwwwwn
Temi, since you love cloves, you can try out this 'beyond comment tea', it's really nice!
I like the way you speak
Theymiiii🥰🥰
💞
Na zobo dem dey make but me na the skin I dey look😒 Could you please make a skincare routine video coz your skin is 💯💯
We use something called jolly juice to sweeten, I hope that was helpful 🌚
@@TemiOtedolaYT alright! But i don’t know if you’ll find it in stores abroad cos I think it’s a Nigerian product , but that’s definitely the best sweetener that I know of,
And thanks for responding, you made my day🥰
😍 😍
Hey Temi💕
Zobo is naturally very sour, it’s take a lot to sweeten it. Dates or date syrup is also another option. Some people use flavoring aswell usually vanilla or strawberry. I don’t like sugar personally.
It depends on which specie of habiscus you use, some aren't sour.
You didn’t just sneak in “like a goat” like we wouldn’t notice😂😂😂
❤❤
Beautiful as ever. Please do house tour
Like a goat??😂😂😭 No no temi
