    if there is a leak on the light roof tiles, what stopleak glue or paint would you recommend?

    • @lightweighttilesltd9579
      @lightweighttilesltd9579  Před 4 lety +1

      You can use any water tight sealant to seal any gaps you feel necessary. Our roofing system is a water tight interlocking system, so this should avoid any water leaks.

    If tiles are heavy, it is to resist windy storm. If not, you will enjoy the storm into your livingroom

      Hi Hugues, our tiles are not fixe with just nails like traditional tiles but with plastic coated screws to ensure the bond is stroger than nails. Take a look at our install guide www.lightweighttiles.co.uk/installation-guidelines-for-lightweight-tiles/

    Hi are the tiles strong enough for a 20 stone man to walk on once fitted to roof ?

    • @lightweighttilesltd9579
      @lightweighttilesltd9579  Před 3 lety

      If the walls are built to building regulations and the roof structure is built to withstand a 20 stone load, moving about Our lightweight tiles can accommodate this, so long as they are properly secured to the roof structure which has been built to manage the intended load. If the 20 stone weight is intended for a garden shed roof, we would recommend that you examine the structure very carefully before proceeding. Obviously, our comment can’t be founded on actual facts as we haven’t seen the intended structure you are considering updating. If you have any questions, please give us a call.

    Where the screws have been put in on a previous video the guy put them into the tiles not under the battens but through the top. As a consequence there will be leaks. A definite fail.
