Oh man, Colin was my favorite rider, as soon as he hit the RC45 I liked him. Still got my 2000 Arai Replica. We need an American in MotoGP! 🇺🇸🇬🇧
Couldn't agree more!
What a breathe of fresh air to have an unrestricted Colin Edwards on for a good honest straight talk, legend.
Abosolutl! Wat an awesome bloke all the words seem to fall of his lips as if he was reading a text !!aHow do you say thanku4 somebody honest /but still very entertaining!!
If Coffee with Colin Edwards was a show, I would watch the hell out of it.
Edwards v Bayliss was a great follow on from the foggy era. Superbikes were the best then.
Colin is simply one the best riders and most importantly Best PEOPLE to ever race a motorcycle. AMERICA!!!!
Keith's humility, real world private/pro racer perspective and insight is why I tune into this podcast. His perspective on family, racing, international outlook is so spot on. Colin's interview and the quality of questions asked by Keith were a reminder why this podcast is quality and not clickbait, conspiracy crap like all the rest. Keep up the great work
Colin is a class act.
The Tornado in his iconic yellow number 5 Camel Yamaha! ✨ One of the best liveries ever by the way.
Indeed it is!
Wicked but honest but still entertainer. Agood one at that very interesting calm &collective ?😂😂😂😂😂//
Awesome chat with Colin 👍
Glad you enjoyed it
What can I say, just utter quality 😉 Colin, what an absolute legend! A joy to watch 👏👏👏
I remember watching Colin win in WSBK at Brands Hatch in 2000, I stood the other side of the fence at Clearways and he looked like he was glued to the track. He was so smooth
Got any footage or photos from that era?
@@karlmoody4891 unfortunately not, I think I was on a Nokia 3310 in those days haha
I was there in 2000 Brands Hatch for both race weekends. Which races did you attend August or October ? I remember they ran out of Burger pattys in the afternoon. John Reynolds was a big surprise. Where did he come from ? Hodgeson was so fast in qualifying.
Bring back Texas Tornado on future podcasts!
Feels like yesterday when tornado was still racing in motogp.
We shared Newcastle Browns outside his motorhome with Colin after 2004 Mugello. One of my friends knew Colin since he was a kid. Great guy and funny as hell.
Colin is the best, I was so surprised at how much of a cool, normal, and fun, etc etc person he is. And especially so considering what fame/fortune/being top level athlete can do to people.
All the good things and positivity he's experienced he seems to reflect back out into the world.
His Texas Tornado boot camp is so much dang fun, dirt riding, trail riding, shooting (pistols and long range), amazing.
Colin Edwards is a class act. I’ve been to the Texas tornado Boot Camp twice. It’s a great, great time. Can’t wait to go back.
Colin Edwards is such a dude.... and such a Texan.
A ranch, truck, guns and chewing tobacco for breakie. The man deserves, at least, a metal spittoon as a little gift for being such a good interviewee and all-round legend!
yuk mouth cancer
Colin vs foggy monza last lap, great times 👍👍👍💪💪💪😎
Wow !
Thanks for that interview with Colin Edwards, Mr Candid.
I was glued to the set watching Colin, Troy and spoiler Ruben X mix it up to the last laps of the last race of 02, who could forget it. Thanks for the memories Colin. This New Yorker is grateful .
Always like Colin Edwards, the Bayliss battles were awesome. You couldn't get anyone anymore laid back than Colin. just wish he had a few MGP race wins to his name and to add to the 2 WSBK Titles he won too.
Great watch fantastic to see Colin taking part much enjoyed 👌👍
Thanks 👍
Great show, what a joy to listen to the Tornado.keep on doing what you do guys 🏁
Colin Edwards, Kevin Shwa ntz, & Rainey, & and of coarse, Randy Malmoa are the fighting gladiators of America during their time. Hats Off. Salute.
Imola race 2 was so iconic and is still my favorite super bike race. Currently I only have 1 motorcycle but it's a Honda RC51 SP-2 "Thunder Pig !!"
Have a signed photo of Colin hanging up in my hall. Great guy to meet.
The best show of OMG to date, please keep it on!
Thank you
@@OMGMotoGP I'm glad that Collin Edwards have graced the show. I always like him being on TV especially during the time when he & Gavin Emmet we're hosting After the Flag. While he was still a rider. He was really good co hosting the show.
I just wonder, how would he & Jack Miller will talk bikes & everything. I'm sure it would have been interesting to listen.
@@dayleashleynolasco57657
Always thought he was a little bland. All change...great guy... spoke well and interestingly. Look forward to the next OMG!
I love Colin, such a smart guy and great racer, thanks for the interview!
“Polish my helmet” 😂😂😂😂
Colin's 1994 Vance and Hines bike was so cool! 😎
Absolutely brilliant. Colin was always a favourite of mine on & off the track. That was ace.
I'm 77 & been all over the US to races. Met Colin a few times. Still have one of his posters on my garage wall. Super nice guy. Seemed super chill. Wish I could hang out with him for a week.
What a character, really cool to see him on your podcast…. Definitely a nice surprise 👍
mega! i love and miss colin
My fav SBK rider I still watch Bayliss v edwards at imola from 02 on dvd to this day maybe once a year 🎸🎸✊
Excellent interview. Colin has always been one of my favorite riders because of his attitude.
I was lucky enough to get to spend some time with Colin back in the day, got to meet Colin Snr and hang with him at a “school reunion” meet up in Sydney which was an honour. A nicer, more laid back and funny guy, not to mention accomodating and going above and beyond with fans, you wouldn’t find. Very cool interview. 👏👍
Miss you Colin. Thank you for the many great years of racing enjoyment.
What a brilliant show, just love Colin, wish you had talked more about the RS3, it was the holy grail for tech at the time, lot's of what we have today started there.
I remember Colin as a novice in the CMRA, and I don't know if he ever lost a race back then. Then the rest is history, maybe the best rider out of Texas and there are a whole bunch! Would have loved to hear some Jamie James stories from the Vance and Hines days. great job guys!!
We miss Colin Edwards
nailed it - those Bayliss Edwards battles were some of the best racing years hands down
Professional Motorcycle Racer!
Best show yet! Best guest yet! Well done, guys!
'Great guy, great racer, great dad.
Bloody legend, I enjoyed that interview.
Brilliant, great interview. Do you remember Colin saving his tech 3 i think on his knee waveing to the crowd as they went wild. I think everyone loved Colin such a genuine man. Great show as always. Thanks. OMG.
Absolutely one of the very best!
What a great episode loved every minute of it
Love Roberts, & Spencer. But Edwards has been into it for such a long racing reign. Respect you brother. Insight into it...
Awesome! One of the Best!
I met Collins at a motogp race, he was such a humble guy to talk to. The guys a legend in motorcycles. How i was able to meet him, was i bought a kid's motorcycle license so he could race dirt bikes. Years later he became a world motogo racer, he never mentions me in any interview but thats how i got to be at the races to meet collins. I really enjoyed this interview, great job guys. I'm definitely subscribing 🏁
It would be great to have unfiltered OMG content from Keith and Colin from COTA next year!
I'd pay a small fortune to have Keith and Colin commentary.
Imagine being able to turn off the sound of a MotoGP race, put your headphones on and tune in to the age restricted, beer flowing podcast of the Colin and Keith Alternate Commentary Show.
Edwards ranting at the marshalls after the oil spill incident in 99 is still one of the best ever motorcycle moments
Colin Edwards was the best wing man for VR46, 💯😎💯
So enjoyed that. Who doesn't like the Texas Tornado....
Be fun to for one of the 80,s legends appearing , Lawson or Gardner.
Colin man, we share the same thoughts around the BS over the last 4 years. Ive loved watching you race over the years. As a race fan in the UK I appreciate you and your fuk em attitude.
Great to see Colin top man 👍
Sweet! I’ve been to Colin’s Boot Camp(it’s f***ing awesome) and paid him with a bunch of friends to come to Quebec and do the same thing a few years later. He is just a great badass Texan, couldn’t of been happier meeting him
Morning!😁 Hey Collin.
I met Colin Edwards in an airport a while back
Said hi to him and he just chatted away like a regular guy .... Great dude
one of the greatest humans ever to race
Wot a lovely bloke , lots of love colin , Neil uk❤
Excellent
As an Aussie I always liked Colin a lot. Always seemed like a good bloke.
Great Blog today with Colin Edwards. I have to ask why everyone thinks it so tough on these riders racing twice in a weeken? These guys are papmpered it use to be riders would race 3 or mor races in a day 250,350,500 cc bike with no rider aids no slow the bike so we have close races and the track surfaces and tyres were nothing like today. Yes the bikes are fast but the tyres are better track suface much better but two races is come that toat bull S--t
I thought you guys stopt with podcast ? Lucky your still doiing it.talked to colin once in assen ..
When he rode the castrol honda .great guy
This Era of World Superbikes and also the British Superbike and also the AMA Series were the Golden Years imho ....... Edwards on an SP RC45 Castrol Colours.....what a bike 🏍 👌
Brilliant
Colin and Troy B. at Imola...legendry racing...
Fantastic episode guys Colin always says it the way it is...go watch him and bayliss at imola going at it .up there with the best race ever.
5 & 46 🤜🏼💥🤛🏼
Alleycat is such a jewel, Colin wait till your 66 mate it gets even harder to start rolling in the am
Everyone chucks their new leathers on the ground, one of two superstitions I acquired, then I always putting the left glove on first.
nice to see ya
The one and only TEXAS TORNADO!!!! What a legend!!!!
What a great guy really USA all the best Colin hope I can pay my way to boot camp in the next few years happy days from ireland,
Edward’s, Sp-1/2 the daddy of wsb
Should be world trivia. First time i heard the term GOAT was from Collin Edwards in early 2000s to describe Rossi.
Did Collin come up with the term or where did he hear it?
hey colin, do you ever miss texas world speedway? i remember racing against you (a broad overstatement btw...) at the wizzer go kart track in carrolton and at oak hill. YSR/50's!
Yes Peace out
Super happy to call Colin a fellow Texan. Yes, we do things differently here than the rest of the USA, and we like it that way. Great interview Colin!
Colin ever race Fredy during his time/
In Spainish press, the Imola race was called at its time THE BEST EVER...even though we had no national riders fighting...but the thing was not the fight, but the fact of breaking the record so consistenly.
(Now the title is for Assen MGP 18 (or was it 19)? when everybody was in front and more than 70 spectators fainted in the stands due to the multiple and tight overtakes
Top rider
MotoGP with Colin and Vale was the best days. I no longer watch Motogp or Worldsuperbike
No mention of Casey Stoner?
Do you like Álvaro Bautista...? Compared to 54 and 65 , he is a gentleman in the track
Followed Colin's career since the 90s. I used to post on his forum in the early 2000s. One of my all time favorites. Oh BTW, stop chewing that stuff. Yuk.
After watching the testing I think the rest of the field is in trouble, Marc has been making a sub par bike over perform for years, now he's on one of the/the best bike in motogp, and it has killed him to not be able to fight for the podium.
Keith may as well do this on his own
When Colin says "it barbequed my nuts" he mean that thing started on fire and he had to bail off at like 120mph+ 😅
"Oh good golly guns are evil!" - in overt British accent. Lol
Ole Colin dippin...lol...l9ve me some fine cut Copenhagen from time time...when you can find it...close your eyes and you could think you were.hearing schwantz
How can i ride there?
Please, for your own sake > look up the Colin Edwards Boot Camp !! Worth every cent !!
vr is a personality... c.Edwards still chewing, no bs here, imagine if colin got vr's results?
...and who beat KRJR in AMA 250cc in '93 ? Yup...this guy
Lucio Helmet Polisher ahahahaha!~!@#
Colin is a motogp legend, and why is he NOT!!!!! ISIT THE SPANISH ONES COME ON COLIN HAS DONE SOME AMAZING STUFF!!!!!
"Forced labor"... Give me a fucking break! Riders get paid well to do what they love!
Not all of them , when a rider needs to find 750,000 euro to go racing , out of the mouth of a racer that had that offer to go race gp bikes
@@craigcourtney4209 He was talking about MotoGP. If you want to see forced labor then go to a cobalt mine.
Colin the GOAT. Valentino chose the best ever teammate
Chewing during interview GROSS! WTF!
But...he's a Texan
What is he chewing and spitting into the cup?
Tobacco probably
Tobacco, very common to chew that in Texas.
