It’s hard to know who signed some of the players. Mount wasn’t his signing for example but you are correct that he’s had support. I think he looks for the wrong attributes in players when signing them

@@richardjones8699 thats essentially a full starting team, and some of the loans (eg amrabat) were meant to be permanent transfers but couldn’t be done due to finances, hence options/obligations to buy - so they’re technically loans now, but some were/are intended to become permanent. And ‘only 9’? that’s still over 50m/player (avg) for those 9 already acquired which is wild - all within 18 months. You also can’t just disregard loans, they’re still signings and still cost money - you don’t loan a player with the intention for it to not work and when it’s a team like United you assume it will work and you’ll buy them with or without an option 🤷♂️
No one can logically say he’s not been backed or that it ‘isn’t his team’. He also had an agreement to green light any incoming transfers as a stimulation to join the club. Still time to pull back the season a bit, but just feel United are standing still while other teams are progressing. I think he’s a good manager but at the wrong club tbh.

Luckily for EtH, United have had a lot of injuries that have overshadowed how inept they've been! The transfers he's demanded and the lack of style on the pitch are very concerning and shouldn't be overlooked. No matter how many players come back from injury, I don't see any improvement. I'll say this much, at least the Cameroonian manager had the initiative/balls to drop Onana - what an absolute shambles!

Bruno in my opinion is not even a midfielder, you either drop him or play him just behind the striker. United should play a 4-3-3 system a midfield 3 of Mainoo, Amrabat and Mount. Then Hojlund up front with 2 wingers that cross the ball and don't cut inside all the time to shoot daisy cutters or hit row P.
