Here in Finland we don't really have social classes if somebody thinks we have majority will concider them as assholes. I have never ever looked down a person who has a job nor a person who is unemployed if he is trying to find one. No1 is below anyone that is one of the main reasons I like my country. I work for goverment and we have official ranks. I call my closest superior by first name and also head of the department. If I would call them by ranks they would think I have lost my marples or I am sarcasticly disrespecting them 😅

Only person you have please in your life is yourself, so if you are happy in your job then it is fine. Cleaning in Finland can be good job compared to some jobs on other countries, it is not most paying jobs in Finland but people do respect cleaners if cleaners do their job properly as someone has to do it anyway and no one want to live in dirty places.

There gotta be NO shame in doing legitimate work. Keep doing what needs to be done to put food on the table. I presumed those laughing or making fun of you won’t come around & ask for free money!!!

Until this mentality dies Kenya will never move forward. Here in the USA Plumbers make serious money upluggng toilets $45 to $200 an hour. That is 4500 Shillings to 20000 Shillings an hour. These guys make the same or more than lawyers. When they come to your house you feel the pain of paying them. Kazi ni Kazi. Many Kenyans have worked their way up from this jobs that Kenyans look down on. A waiter in America drives a car has a nice apartment and probably makes more money than their manager. They work on tips 15% to 20% of any bill. So do not compare Kenya job market to advanced countries job market. All jobs are important. In Kenya we were taught the wrong thing. Respect everyone the mama mboga mkokoteni driver to the toilet cleaner. If we respected each other we would have an amazing country.

Kazi ni kazi. We are all rushing to get big professions. Looking down at other professions yet we cannot live without them. I see here kids looking forward to be plumbers cause they love that and they know that they will be paid well. I know westerners did not build this in a day but I sure hope we get there someday.East or west, home is best.
