Rob, you have the same name as my dad, and for the last few years, I have looked up to you like a dad, even though you don't know me. I am a 25 year old woman from Alberta, Canada, and my mom went missing 6 years ago. I know it is not the same, but please know that you are so appreciated and Patti is so loved by you and anyone who cares about you. I am so sorry for this situation, and I know it can't be easy right now. But the thing I try to remember, is that we have to keep living and experiencing life FOR the people we lose. There are too many beautiful sunsets and rises that we need to witness for them. Remember your channels main goal of empowerment, and how you and Patti both have empowered SO many people to do things themselves and keep learning and experimenting and becoming self-sufficient. What you have built is beautiful! Nobody expects you to bounce right back, we all need time and patience. If there is anything that I can help with, please let me know. I am proficient in computers and would be happy to volunteer my time and skills to help with anything you might need, wishing the absolute best for you and your family today.

I can only speak for myself, but your loss has been felt by myself in an unexpected way, every morning I shared my breakfast with you for so long that you became part of my life.

Your laugh was a sign of wonder, a sign of everlasting youthful joy, ...... And I hope you find an extra meaning in your own laugh where maybe it becomes a sign of you continung to embrace her love and wanting to share it with others.
There was nothing trivial about your laugh. It invited us into your understanding of the world. And now, your understanding of the world is different, and..... your laugh will be deeper.
Some people laugh so hard that they cry. There must be a connection between the two.
I've never understood that.
I've heard it said that even though it feels impossible now, but there comes a time when remembering a loved one evokes smile and a laugh along with the sorrow. The sorrow will always be there, but she was a hugely supportive figure in your life that encouraged your youthful wonderment.
She has always been a part of your laugh. She will also continue to be a part of it when your laugh returns.
