Azan is a call to prayer, not a song.
One could also argue that the Azan sounds like a song, its both just using your voice as a melody to the text of Azan. Every culture has their own style of melody for the Azan.
Okay Wobbly, relax - Muslims arnt monolithic across the world. When Ibn Battuta travelled from the Mali African Empire all the way to China he came across Muslims from all walks of life with their many interpretations of Islam. Because he came from the post Ibn Tammiyah era, he was like you being judgemental because he wasnt use to seeing "innovation" of these non Arab muslims.

I got to meet him after this went viral. Allhumdullah very great guy. We both got to share how we both recite the Adhan. I have been calling people to prayers at my masjid for nearly 3 years. I’m always happy and curious to hear how others recite the call. 😁
You have to be careful with how you say this because this sounds like a comment that can start fitnah between Muslims. Instead of making it sound this way. First seek the brother and show him how it is done. He actually came to my masjid and asked me to teach him my way. I actually do my adhan similar to that of the ones in mecca and madinah. I think its best we acknowledge that he is doing his best to try and stick to the original way of doing but the fact that he accepted Islam because of the adhan he had heard is important to acknowledge.@@Ash-T-Haqq-Vlogs

To all who claim that it bears similarity to a song: If the man perceives the Adhan as a song or presents it as such, it would be considered a sin for him. However, if he does not, then it is you who are judging others. The Adhan might sound beautiful to him in this way
We judge by what is apparent, this was stated by amirul mu’mineen Umar رضي الله عنه. If the people come to a conclusion that this is imitating the kuffar in the way that it is “sung”, then it becomes sinful to do, and sinful to support.

But still, Azan has its own rules to follow by different people with their different cultural styles. There is still room for any culture to move around within the accepted Azan rules, but you can't create or do things outside of the boundaries. If you are a new Muslim and don't know these rules, spend a day or two learning them. They are very easy, but don't go out there and create a Bidaat (innovation in Islam) Azan, which is Haram. Saying the Azan in public, the person has to wear clothes that are acceptable and the same goes for the hair, etc. There should be some manners for everything. MashaAllah this is beautiful!
Those commenting with negative criticism because of the melody the brother is using please remove your ignorant comments. The adhan that you’re used to is called in various Arabic, Persian, and Kurdish maqams(melodies). This brother is of African and/or mixed heritage and he is pronouncing the words correctly, which is the most important thing, and his African melody is absolutely fine and beautiful. The adhan is a call to prayer to all mankind! Only 15% of the 2 Billion Muslims worldwide are Arab, so naturally the call to prayer will be done in various melodies while simultaneously preserving the language of revelation, Arabic. By the way, when Bilal (Allah be pleased with him) the African companion (disciple) of the prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) chose him to call the adhan, he did so for his beautiful voice.
Anyway this is clear prophetic proof that those with beautiful voices should be given the opportunity to call the adhan. This brother did it beautifully, powerfully, and with so much heart. Allah bless him and increase him and us all, Ameen!

What do you mean the spirit is present. What spirit
What do you mean by “the spirit” is present?
Some sufi Christian esk stufff, what is this spirit thing
@@zerperior angels are called spirits (Ruh). in fact Angel Gabriel is called the Holy Spirit in the quran (Ruh Al-Qudus) but im not sure what they mean by "the spirit is present here"
@@Imani_YT In Islamic tradition, angels are often referred to as "spirits" (Ruh) because they are created beings of a spiritual nature. Angels are distinct from humans and other creations, as they are made from light (nur) instead of physical matter. The term "Ruh" is used to describe their ethereal and immaterial existence.
In the Quran, Angel Gabriel is indeed referred to as the Holy Spirit (Ruh Al-Qudus). For example, in Surah Al-Baqarah (2:97), it is mentioned:
"Say, 'Whoever is an enemy to Gabriel - it is [none but] he who has brought the Quran down upon your heart, [O Muhammad], by permission of Allah, confirming that which was before it and as guidance and good tidings for the believers.'"
Here, the verse mentions that Angel Gabriel brought down the Quran to Prophet Muhammad by the permission of Allah. He is called the Holy Spirit because he is entrusted with the divine task of conveying revelations to the prophets and messengers.
Regarding the statement "the spirit is present here," it is essential to consider the context in which it is used. It could have various meanings depending on the context and the beliefs of the person saying it. In some instances, it might be a figurative expression to describe the presence of divine blessings, guidance, or a feeling of spirituality. In other cases, it could refer to the presence of angels, who are often believed to be present in gatherings where people remember Allah, engage in acts of worship, or seek knowledge.
However, it's essential to note that Islam places a clear distinction between the Creator (Allah) and the created beings (angels). Allah is transcendent and beyond human comprehension, while angels are servants of Allah, created to carry out specific tasks according to His divine will.
As with any religious terminology or expressions, it's crucial to understand the context and the specific beliefs of the individuals using such phrases to avoid misunderstandings or misinterpretations.

❤❤❤❤ let’s learn to be kind, I really appreciate this brother for his heart. Mashallah
The heart and ❤️ this brother has for Salaat is pure love.. May Allah bless all the new converts for their energy and enthusiasm and keep us all strong in Islam.
Ameen
but mohammed died and allah could not save him. The chosen ONE OF ALLAH COULD NOT BE SAVED BY died. So every muslim who is a follower of mohammed is doomed to die like mohammed the CHOSEN ONE OF ALLAH who GAVE MOHAMMED DEATH according to them. How can muslims be saved if there CHOSEN ONE MOHAMMED COULDN'T BE SAVED, YET HE WAS ALSO THE CHOSEN PROPHET OF ALLAH but had no power and DIED.
I am not sure about stretching voice level but i liked the enthusiasm of this true Muslim. Very good 👍🏻👍🏻
Have a wonderful Ramadan guys.

Singing is Haram ! True Muslim !
@@Christian-Roots818 singing is not haram lol
@@Christian-Roots818 Musical instruments are Haram...not the Adhan.

You can feel how much heart he's putting into it. How much Love he has for Allah SubhanAllah ❤
What a beautiful soul, mashallah is very captivating
I truly enjoyed it. He is saying adhan with all his heart. He truly means it.
The way he called the adhan might not be in the tradition/rules of Islam but his heart is in Islam (hopefully ). Mashaallah. Allah knows people's intentions and He knows the best.
MashAllah. What an unique way to get people's attention and get them to the masjid. May Allah swt put good in your effort and reward you for it ❤
✨❤️✨🌹✨ What a very beautiful and powerful voice! Ma shaa Allah!

Thanks, Very Well Said brother...
May the Almighty Allah guide us to the right path.
Ameen.
We can judge by what is apparent
@@Headie0ne exactly and this is singing. If he’s a revert he wouldn’t know what the adthan is. This is how Nation of Innovation (Not Islam) does Adhan. I’m so glad Allah guided me to the Sunnah
@Sajjad Eliyas We can judge by what is apparent, even reverts should be corrected and not be offended. It is our culture as an ummah to correct people when they are wrong! Warmly and politely.
@@amatullah1510 Alhamdullilah you are upon the Sunnah. May Allah bless us all who hold the Quran and Sunnah firm to our hearts and may Allah guide those who do not.
