How to make a Cat Cave - Cat Bed

Everyone knows cats love getting in boxes right? in this video I am making a stylish cat bed - a dodecahedron made in walnut Veneered MDF with one side missing.
It is important to get exactly the right angle and shape to ensure all the sides line up as they should. I used Lamello Tenso fixings to pull the joints together whilst the glue dries - trying to clamp this using traditional woodworking clamps must be almost impossible!

The use of the Lamello was brilliant. I just made a dodecahedron couple days ago, using my CNC and tablesaw, but only have it taped together at the moment.

Nice work Nick - shouldn't the fence angle be 118? I thought a pentagon should add up to 540 degrees / 5 = 118?

The joint biscuits are...ridged plastic? If you were to use flat biscuits, tapping with a mallet would be pointless no?

Great job I love your work i have a couple of questions if you don't mind i would like to build one for me yard but I would love to make it like a mini dome structure so myself and my wife can be out of the weather my question is i see your angles can you advise on how to cut it out of larger size also can you explain how to set up your saw to get the right angles great work thanks for sharing
