  • The Luxury Strategy is discussed in this video. The key message is that strategy and tactics are individual to a particular business. Rather than accepting the so-called rules of strategy applied by the largest of brands, one must decide whether these are appropriate given where they are standing. Luxury brands, even when new can create the right cachet, but the rules taught by academics are dangerous for entrepreneurs needing to reach revenue goals.

    Your style is so unique. How you present and deliver your message is unmatched. I truly love the way you open our minds to a new way to look at strategy and how we can use it in defining our business. There are so many valuable takeaways from this video, one that stands out for me is “ execution is key in your ability to move your strategy forward “ . Thank you for bringing the excellence .

      Thank you, Barbara, for your kind and lovely comments. There are confusing recommendations on business-building, particularly in the luxury segment. It is because it is an area where ideas originate from multiple corners of luxury, but generally of limited value to the luxury entrepreneur such as yourself. Academics, who are not running businesses, and often have not, say don't do this or that. Those who work within legacy brands, bring assumptions of capital, stature, and name recognition that are of limited value to entrepreneurs. And we have "content creators" trying to gain traction with dangerous parroting of these ideas. You can convey poise, excellence, and the highest levels of luxury while still taking steps that ensure business growth, and the first line of your income statement, SALES. I feel a responsibility to present a real-world approach to luxury marketing and sales, for real-world luxury entrepreneurs like you and our Taylor Insight members who are building real businesses on their own dime, courage, and grit, who may be underestimated, but have the power to be as luxury as anyone else. I appreciate all that you are!

    There are some very valuable lessons in this video. To me, the most important points are
    - Where do I want to go?
    - What is the strategy?
    I know from day one, what type of product, I wanted, whom do I serve and who NOT (very important decision). I still keep mood boards for just about everything to now loose sight.
    I was aware that I needed a customised strategy, and I am really happy you agreed to work with me.

    Sir we are a startup luxury brand we are trying to make some historic connection but we dont know how to make a people think we are luxury like gucci and versace
    like i said u we are statup so we cant hire celebrities or models can u please guide us
