Im not a once but I decided to hear this album bc I kept seeing snippets and it didn’t disappoint. It’s actually so freaking good and I’ve been listening to it on repeat. I need to look more into this music 😭
you can check their discography. though, Zone's vibe really has that distinct Jihyo vibes that Twice doesn't have. Still, their discography is really good!

this album is TOOOO good... like wow love wishing on you so much
my interpretation of room is that she’s speaking about her past, like the room that she used to have and love and make memories in, but she’s moving on with her life. she’s letting go of that part of her life with positive feelings and moving on to the next. that might not be what she intended but that’s the vibe i get. room is my third favorite track after nightmare and closer.
Jihyo is one of the best belter I've ever heard before the way she hit the high note without exegeration, she know how much volume she need to put, the best part is her voice sound so full when hitting high note

RE: the radio discussion, I agree. The thing is, TWICE(and most of the JYP roster)'s U.S. label is Republic Records, aka the biggest label in America right now(the label has Drake and Taylor Swift to name a few) but they haven't sent any songs to radio so far. I dunno who makes the final call on that decision but I remember hearing "Moonlight Sunrise" the first time and thought, "this would sound good on the radio" but they didn't do anything with it. Then again, K-pop songs in general don't really get pushed to U.S. radio all that much. If I had to guess, I think it's because it takes a while for a song to really go off on radio and by the time it does, the group is ready to move on to the next album. I did see that NewJeans' U.S. label sent "Super Shy" to pop radio last week, so it'll be interesting to see if that takes off.

it's amazing that jihyo wrote all of the album songs except to title track, she really is the best leader and soloist she make sure that whay she gives to us has both quality and quantity😊

Jihyo is a great vocalist and singer, but she definitely doesn't have the voice color to start out Twice's bright songs. Having Nayeon and sometimes Mina starting their earlier songs makes perfect sense. She has been starting their more mature songs though, so good for her
If you've heard her voice in "I'm going crazy" from TWICE's first album. it actually sounded so sweet it made me cry 😭💖 but yh, her voice is definitely better for more mature concepts. I'm a fan of this sexy concept. It's not vulgar, it's just right while still being badass! I could see her becoming super popular by staying towards that direction in the future. I mean it's up to her ofc, she never sounds bad with any concept tbh. Maybe even a cvnty concept? Just an idea. I mean since that kind of genre in kpop has been hiding beneath the ground and there's too much family friendliness in kpop these days, It would be nice to have something for the adults again! If you haven't seen, I highly recommend you check out her closer stage performances! It was kind of going towards that direction!

the part in closer where she sings "I just can't leave you alone. Can we get even closer babe, get closer babe" totally brings me back to BEP's Don't Phunk With My Heart when fergie sings "Wonder if I take you home, would you still be in love baby, in love baby" and I'm living
I love the 24k golden collab my 14 yearold nephew loves him but doesn't like kpop much but he sees his guy with jihyo and is starting to see kpop is dope

JIHYO's album is crazy, all of the songs is fire. One thing i can say is, every single album of twice never disappointed me (Group or Solo or Unit album). Every TWICE's song (title track and b-side) created on top of campfire cause is too fire. thank you.

Zone is such a solid album! I hate that JYP isnt promoting it properly in the west! To have a full English song with a western artist feature and no radio push in the west....wtf! 😒
idk whos twice member can topped this solo album, i mean it goes neck to neck with nayeon tho, but jihyo album in my opinion just slightly up.. one member that i could think can pulled this impossible task out, might be jeongyeon..

I am a once and when I heard the sneak peaks I said this is NOT a kpop album. As to JYP he is an idiot he reminds me of Colonel Parker with Elvis (yes I'm THAT old) the difference jihyo and jeonyeon took twice away from him along time ago (thankfully). As you said she felt this album and did with it as she wanted (if i remember correctly she has composer credits). I will repeat what I've said else where be prepared for the Korean invasion spearheaded by TWICE and god jihyo (no hate respect to Blackpink and BTS for opening the door).

I think they f@#$ed up releasing Killin' Me Good as a single/video. I think it's the weakest track on the e.p. i agree with you guys, that especially if she re-recorded the Korean parts in English, several of these songs could be top 10 hits in the west. For some reason there is an English version of Killin' Me Good but it's only available as a CZcams video. It's like they don't want to make money.
