Phanteon 5 on Hollow Knight is pure pain.
Every single boss in the game.
Easier ones? They're now doubled and they have harder areas.
Hard ones? They are harder.
Resting points? Once 10 boss.
Final boss? FUCKING SUN HERSELF, BUT HARDER

Nothing says, "I'm having fun" like playing the same segment 1000 times just to unlock one garbage trophy. I have this happen quite often.

Bro, the Sackboy trophy is quite insane, I tried it a few times and quickly gave it up because I wasn’t prepare for a pain in the ass like that…

Sorry to hear about your hand. I had a similar experience a few months ago though that was not due to something I did outside. It was actually a specific games trophy that made me go so tense in my hand that up to this day I have to carefully select which exercises I do in the gym because of the still remaining damage. In case you wonder what game that was, 3D Dot Game Heroes and the horrible Monaca Circuit. Perhaps the most ridiculous thing I've ever had to do for a plat.

I did sifu 100% completion and I must add that for the 100% not only you need to feel fluent on normal difficulty but on a max one as well for a couple of challenges. For example, the last one is to take down all bosses in one go back to back on max difficulty (their movesets are expanded)
P.s. Completing the game on 100% made me that much automatic at this game I hopped on master difficulty right after and did it first try without dropping a sweat lmao

I had a similar issue with New Tales, although in my case by replaying the last chapter multiple times I managed to get 3 out of the 5 endings. I then had to restart the entire story from the start following a guide to get the best ending, and then restart it once more to get the one I was missing. In the end I finished the game with over 50 hours because of so much trial and error (aside the one playthrough following a guide).
sifu was my first ever platinum, i got it a few months back and it got me into trophy hunting. it was honestly easy for me because i’ve sunk so many hours into it on pc beforehand 😭
One of the most infuriating games i fully completed was The Binding of Isaac Rebirth with all dlcs which took me 650+ hours to fully complete. To fully complete this game you have to defeat, Mom, Boss Rush, Moms Heart, Satan, The Lamb, Isaac, Blue Baby, Mega Satan, Hush, Delirium, Mother, The Beast, and Ultra Greedier with all 34 characters and also you have complete all 45 different challenges and all the other really tedious garbage surrounding it. Fully completing The Binding of Isaac Rebirth is like finishing your education and paying of your debts.
Did the basic version, cant imagine the work to do the 100%
I've managed to complete only the third of that Sackboy challenge, still keep trying sometimes.
The hardest platinum (out of my 20) was Ratchet and Clank 2016. The dancing enemies bronze trophy is so buggy. I had to play the game 4 times to get it.
Also God of War 3 and Evil West are kinda hard cause of the high difficulty trophies, but manageable with some tips.
7:11 beyond two souls and new tales from the borderlands have the same frustrating trophies to get, in beyond two souls you have to view all the endings (which there are a total of 10-12 i think) some of them you can just do them at the last chapter, while others require for you to go back to old chapters in order to get the ending, which is pretty damn infuriating, but hey i still managed to platinum the game, but it will never be one of my fav games to platnium.
The Ripsnorter on Sack Boy was no joke! Took me ages but finally got it done.
I would love to see you platinum Spelunky 2! Its one of my favorite games of all time and I wanna share the pain.
As someone who had gotten S ranks and all the bosses in cuphead, I feel like that platinum is not that hard if you know what you’re doing and equip the right things.
Though, want an even more excruciating experience? Try Celeste’s platinum without assist mode (assist mode is basically an in game cheat which is why the platinum is a two out of 10 on PlayStation profiles)
Some of those sounded painful...shame about the New Tales of the Borderlands game...the first one, the telltale one, was so good.
There are too many to list - but one game that was frustrating to platinum was "Oh Sir...Insult Simulator" - the RNG in that game is brutally bad

I myself did Sifu on normal difficulty(before there was no difficulty setting). The only hard trophy for me was beating the game under the age of 25 and doing all of the takedowns(I lost track of which one I was missing).
I generally don’t get too frustrated so thps 1+2 with the hard get theres immediately came to mind. But I just finished Chadley’s missions in FF7 rebirth and I think this plat will easily become the most frustrating. Just gotta finish hard mode
I can't for the life of me get the 5 defuses on R6 siege. Had 3 for the last 9 months.
So the Elden ring dlc is coming out soon and I’m wondering if my platinum of the game will go away

Tekken 8s platinum is actually very easy to obtain from other fighters. But yeah I agree that both SF and MK plats are a pain
Sifu was very easy for me. I played on student mode and used those shrines to revert my age. The last boss fight was literally random bottom smashing after a tip I read on CZcams. 🤭
And yeah I agree on the borderlands game. The worst part about the game is that those endings seems totally random 😭
I unintentionally got the siege plat twice. Been playing since 2016 and got the ps4 version in 2018. Then, I got the ps5 versions plat shortly after upgrading to next gen in 2021.
I’m 1 trophy away from the cuphead dlc and all trophies done. I can’t wait to be done with it

Sifu was kinda easy for me. The dlc is hard… I’m trying to platinum yakuza zero but the mahjong challenge is killing me. Try out the yakuza series, it’s really fun

I have recently started trophie hunting and I’m trying to plat the games I already played
I played dragon ball kakarot once in ps4 and now I have the ps5 version if I platinum the game on the ps4 version will the trophies pass to the ps5 version?
I played siege allot but didn’t platinum and when I pass to ps5 come trophies pass to the ps5 version but not all of them do you know how that works? Should I finish plat the game in the ps4 to also get the plat on the ps5 version?

For me it was Assassin's Creed 3. I admit it was probably the way I went for this platinum, but having to do every optional objective and then getting the Original Gamer and Extraordinary Man trophy were enough to make me contemplate quitting.

It’s honestly a miracle that I even managed to get this platinum because of all of the frustrating and unnecessary tasks the game asks you to do for it.
AC3’s Platinum was honestly so boring I quit. The list of things to do seemed endless.
Two Worlds 2 - worst game I've ever played.
There's multiplayer trophies, which requires boosting.
And the story i had to play the first half twice becuz the game glitched on me.
I got so pissed off at the multiplayer trophies that i punched the ground and broke my damn hand.
one of the worst ones for me was TLOU2 as my save file went away and I had to do EVERYTHING again, grounded permadeath again was horrendus elden ring and lies of p are a close second
Honorable mention is kena bridge of spirits as I almost killed myself cuz of it like master was so so hard it was actually dumb

Gta 3 platinum missable missions collectables before story during story stunt jumps car collection because if you don’t do all that before progressing to the next island it’s impossible everybody shoots at Claude once you have completed a mission even the pay phone hits are missable. 35 hours of PAINFUL GRINDING. Delete straight away and that was my second platinum.
My most difficult platinum Was without a doubt vanquish. Man challenge 6 took me many many hours to defeat.
I’d have loved to plat that on ps3. Them challenges are no joke. An underrated gem
Platinumed rainbow six siege and let me tell you a sad reality. Team mates don't really matter, guns kill people in a few shots and your the only one you can actually rely on since you can not farm custom lobbies for the trophies. So enjoy when other people get kills but take the responsibility when you die.

To this day i dont know how i killed the last boss in Sifu.. i got so mad i wasn't even paying attention and somehow he just died.. i zoned out so hard i dont remember..
Sackboy was the same.. it took me almost a whole day to do that one run.. and pne time i did it and i was like 10 seconds off.. the problem woth that run is you know you can do it but always some random place you fuck up and its really frustrating..
Some harder trophyes i did recently is Batman Arkham Knight Trials, but just like Sifu the game clicks after some hours and its just a cakewalk from there

I have Burnout Paradise Remastered in my backlog, and i want to get the platinum trophy. I heard it was an 3/10 difficulty. How hard is it in your experience? There are online trophies, which worries me
you know whats pain? rdr2 online trophies. but you should look at trophy descriptions, if it for example says; win 4 consecutive matches with at least 10 randoms,...i would give up

Wow, I literally Platinumed Sifu today and I also just started Sackboy today…wasn’t expecting to see those titles here, what a coincidence 😂 Yeah, that 3/10 difficulty rating for Sifu is absolute bullshit. Even playing on easy and save scumming the Prodigal Son trophy, it’s still more like a 5/10 because you have to be at least decent at the game. And same, I NOPED out of those Arena trophies immediately. Before I started the base game, I was intending to go for 100% because I saw the first DLC was a 5/10 difficulty (so doable)-now in retrospect since I saw that the 3/10 rating for the base game was a lie, so the DLC was probably gonna be more like an 8/10 given that you actually had to master the game.
Also, don’t wanna be that guy but most of these Platinums aren’t even that difficult. Aside from Siege and Cuphead, none of these Platinums are above a 5/10 difficulty LMAO. I was expecting to see some 8s and 9s. More hardcore trophy hunters would be laughing at this list (no offense). Now I’ll tell you what Platinum made me wanna end it all: FF7 Rebirth. Now that Platinum genuinely made me question being a trophy hunter.
My hardest plats are horizon zero dawn and forbidden west because those are my only true plats

i'm sorry but Sackboy is my limit, I know it's possible and i've seen many complete it and eventually I think I will atleast complete it, But well done to the absolute maximum because I don't think it is worth getting for a medal next to that game. Then what? Look at it one or twice then idk what.. I know how to it just faultless platinums aswell as completing it within 10 mins without many almost any mistakes now that's a grind, the worst part is I got it with PS Extra and no way i'm paying for standard membership to play it, I'd rather that then pay for it separately, but 1 year isn't enough time when thinking of getting it even with dedication, I celebrate those who had grinded for it. And the other things I won't platinum is faultless games and though that has a unreachable status, Also known as High Expectations or those of which has online trophies or Unobtainable tag for obviously reasons so well done once again for the Platinums Sandrezz and others.

Rainbow Six for me actually wasnt hard, in my case i used to play normally(+1kH) thats why the platinum was not hard. But i understand when u start the game whit the objetctive on the plat.

Of course there are always gamers that can finish Ghostrunner 2 with their eyes closed, but for me this platinum is a 8 out of 10 instead of 6 out of 10.
