Great racing, the ebb and flow over the hour was terrific to watch. Some great idiosyncratic commentary, hopefully it won't be too long before we can see another large scale TC championship.

i like this scale cuz it's not goofy looking cuz it's so fast like the 1/10th scale. looks more real.

Excellent race. It was fun to watch. The announcer was awesome. I don't understand why they have a mandatory 90 sec pit stop. That doesn't make sense.

Cool race but having such long races with refueling wont be as tense since the cars arent near eachother.
Holly shit it's like watching a dam real race lol I never knew this shit was real like this kid's need to say piss on the Xbox and crap and do this I drove race cars for years and I don't see how they can drive these things so dam fast around this course lol it makes me want to get back to racking ageing once you have the ich you can't get away from it love it good job guys
I suggest putting a kitten in each car to add the life and death element during the race. But seriously, I'm not an RC guy , but this is really neat. Great vid.
It would look like real, if the track were not so with and the people around would be not that tall. Or if the cars would be bigger.

Mon-tech doesn't make these anymore. They're pretty much exclusively 1/10th and 1/12th scale.
These are mostly produced by specialist brands. HARM, FG Modelsport and Genius are the primary top brands, while more "entry level" brands (a VERY relative term for these big cars) include Losi, HPI and MCD Racing (although none of these "entry level" brands make anything for the 2WD Touring Car class - MCD's the only one with on-road options and they're all 4WD). There's also a few brands making quarter-scale oval cars, but they're not very common and I can't remember their names. Cheapest you'll be able to get is Redcat, and while normally I'd advise against "off" brands like that they actually make some decent large-scale cars these days. You really get a lot of car for the money with those if you just want something to play around with.
That being said, I'd strongly recommend starting off with something electric and a lot smaller if it's your first car. Not that you can't start with 1/5th scale, it's just a better idea to learn on something cheaper.

FG sell them for £750.....£20 delivery to the UK. The big BMW 3 Series and the Porsches being the better designs IMO.

Commentator needs to speak more clearly.
His speech does get cluttered, though the action often happens faster than you can think in RC racing. It's understandable not all the words come out without running into the next word.
