If every teacher was this nice and interested in their craft and teaching, I honestly belive we would have world peace. Thank you for making the world a litte brighter Chef Jean-Pierre!
Just imagine it. They would all graduate with a red diploma! 💪🏻👍🏻😉
Bien dit. Well said.
Agree completely.
It has as much to do with personality as it does competence. Treat your educators as professionals instead of babysitters, pay them appropriately, and give due respect and you might have the outcome you describe.
@@jamesgamblin3488 It is true. It was said about the famous physicist Julian Schwinger that he publishes to show you that he is the only one who can do it. Not a good idea.(Although he was very approachable apparently on a one-on-one basis).
I suppose that Chef Jean-Pierre must have experimented in simplifying some recipes for his channel. It seems like he did although he is not too explicit about it.
@@jamesgamblin3488 Amen to that!!!
Any new viewers should know that forgetting the mushrooms was no big deal.
One time he baked a gopro in the oven.
That's why I love this channel. Because that's what real cooking is like. Not all fake and staged and rehearsed and perfect.
WHAT???? 🤣😂🤣
I like to cook em separate so they get better colour and texture
In what video did he bake the gopro? 🤣🤣
Someone please post a link to this video. The "waiting" animation while he tried to remember the names of his vegetables was perfect. I'm also at the age where the brain short circuits at awkward moments.
I'll bet the GoPro was delicious
You letting us see you being human and making mistakes, helps the rest of us to not panic when we make mistakes.
Love your videos 🤩
14 eggs for one dish is totally unacceptable! I'm passing by!
I use The Chef’s accent with a bit of my Texas twang when making the kiddos cereal in the a.m. We all love The Chef.
The chef, makes everything fun, easy and delicious. I'm so making this on the weekend. Please pray for me 🙏 😂
I boiled eggs and the fire department showed up. 😂
🙏🙏🙏
Everyone screws up, if they're trying to get a good job done. People who don't screw up aren't trying to accomplish anything. Screw ups + experience/caring = excellence. The family is going to love this one. Thank you Chef!
Thank you, I actually needed that today.
I love how he recovered instantly by just taking a second pan. Chef in the kitchen like a fish in the water.
Thank you! I cook every day and occasionally it's yucky. I have 5 dogs, so usually it all gets eaten.
I'm watching it again.. because I am making it for a friends 73rd Bday..no one will know until I present it... I made one for myself..ty Chef
Never tire of telling you:
YOU ARE A MAN TO BE LOVED!
NEVER tire to hear it !!!🙏😊
Even when you miss a step… your results are masterful.
I’ve learned two lessons.. The first is to have fun! And the second, how to easy it is to correct it!
“No worries friends!” “Don’t worry about it!” I love it! Thank you Chef JP!
Anyone who learns these two lessons, will become, in time, a great cook! Bravo!
Absolutely NOTHING "boring" about you! Mistakes and all is what makes you so easy to identify with! Cheers
Can't wait to try this out.
Don't know how many fans you have in Germany, but I'm one of them.
Thank you Jean-Pierre . . .
There is no sincerer love than the love of food.
Whoever is editing these videos has as good a sense of humor as CJP. I spit my drink out laughing when as Chef was recalling the correct order to cook the bacon/onion/mushroom and the computer processing icon showed up on his head. Clever.
Keep up the great work folks! You've clearly found the magic formula for producing top notch videos that are entertaining AND informative.
🙏🙏🙏❤️
If you've never tried his frittata techniques, you are in for a treat. I've been making my frittatas his way since his first frittata video, and it always turns out perfect. One of my favorite recipes.
Hundred percent right .😊
14 eggs+1 cup Cheddar Cheese+1 cup Reggiano Parmesan for one dish is totally unacceptable! I'm passing by!
@@DEXTER-TV-series oh for Christ’s sake,go away! You have bitched about a number of Jean Pierre’s videos. Perhaps you should try another cooking channel and leave the rest of us in peace. I am sure there are no fat, only egg white with zero cheese videos out there somewhere. I made this and it was fantastic.
My 8 year old grandson has been cooking your recipes with me for a while now and every recipe is awesome.
OMG my wife is going to love this...
The catering company I work for (in part inspired by your work) always says great food doesn't have to be difficult. the 4 rules. 1: Always be well prepared before cooking 2: Always have high quality and fresh products 3: Treat food with love and value 4: Don't make anything more difficult than necessary
From my many viewings of Hotel Hell and Kitchen Nightmares, I learned that restaurants that do poorly break rule 4 and try to solve it by breaking rule 2.
@@bare_bear_hands At some restaurants you ask yourself, why does it have to go like this. Good food doesn't have to be difficult. (Not everyone can be a Michelin star chef)
Absolutely correct and totally agree
Chef! Remember when you said you kept a bowl of butter by the stove for moral support! I thought of you today and moved my sourdough starter into my office, it even has it's own table. Been struggling at work lately and thought of you and wanted that as my moral support! thank you!
LOL,.. " I sometimes wonder about myself,.. I always screw something up" Oh, Chef JP,.. you're killing me!
I got a deep belly laugh at the buffering sign over Chef’s head. It’s me, most days! Especially this morning with my cat waking me up in a windstorm 😂
Me too! I can almost see it now which makes me laugh instead of remembering the words 😂😂
I wish I could give this 100 thumbs up
Thank you 🙏 👍👍👍
Jack? You are a subtle evil genius. Loved ... It ... ..
Prepared this for Mother's Day Brunch and it was a hit. Came out perfect and was very tasty. Also was the first time preparing one of Chef's dishes for a group....Thanks Chef for making me look like I knew what I was doing....It was a loaded with compliments!
Thank you Chef Jean Pierre for not burning yourself tonight with the frittata. We love you.
I make a frittata on most Sundays and always wonder why the edge is so brown, now I know why! Thank you for sharing the details. I appreciate everything you do on this channel for us part time home chefs
I’ve learned NOT to do my grocery shopping until I’ve watched Chef JP’s offering 💕💕 The “Screw ups” are simply a bonus my friend xx Voila ❤
I get so excited when a new video comes up...just nipping out to get the ingredients 😁😁👍
Edit....I have to add that my wife and I LOVE this man. He's changed our dinners at home and it's fun to cook now. 👍
When I know the why, I remember. Thank you Cef for the why.
Thanks again.
Thank you for teaching us your Art.
Every time I watch your program , makes me hungry.
That's the truth.
From UK.
OOOOOHHHHHHHHHHH my GOD!!!!!!!!!!!! I want that everyday for breakfast. I swear if I win the lottery, I want to hire you as my personal chef.
I vote for delicious food. Chef Jean-Pierre for President.
THE PERFECT FRITTATA MASTER BY CHEF JEAN ^_^ LOVE IT
I like how you show us that your human and leave your mistakes in the video's. Thanks.
Nice touch: the buffering spin while Chef is thinking. 😂
I just had peposo stew for dinner but when I watch this I get hungry again!
I grew up with my Late Mother making THIS!!! ALWAYS WAS A HIT!!❤❤❤👍👍👍
In our world of modern science, we need to devise a way to make what ever dish you are cooking to instantly appear at my table once it is completed. All this looks amazing.
Amazing, and getting SOOO CLOSE to 1 MILLION SUBSCRIBERS!!!! Hopefully, by New Years Day, maestro!
This man love what he does!very talented and a great teacher
I made this tonight.
It was delicious. Didn't have an oven proof frying pan so used a low non stick bread tin I got from Lidl.
Still got loads left for the next couple of days.
I love this guy. I hope everyone realizes his recipe is based on the size of the pan he is using. Check it out before you make it, friends. I know people out there would try to fit this recipe into an 8-inch pan and then complain that eggs were burned on the outside and still liquid on the inside. No. You didn't pay attention. Step 1 in cooking is to use the correct size pan for what you are cooking. If you don't have the same size pan, you have to adjust the recipe and make it smaller.
Great comment James thank you for taking the time!😊
Chef JP deserves WAY more subscribers! RING THAT BELL! 🛎 😊
My Mom's birthday is coming up. I might go over to her place and make this for her and maybe some mimosas for a birthday brunch 😁
All you out there... You get one mom... Spoil her every chance you get. You won't regret it.
🙏🙏🙏❤️
Jean-Pierre, you still da man!
Love frittatas!!! Thanks for your excellent instructions so mine will turn out perfectly! :) So glad you forgot the mushrooms because things happen in our kitchens and we learn to correct our mistakes!!! ❤️
"I always screw up something, but you know what, I am having fun"
That's why You're my favourite CZcams chef, You always come out on top.
Your excellent technique, wonderful recipes and it always make me happy to watch You cooking.
And beleive me, watching You making mistakes makes me much better at cooking.
... and I even start pronouncing onion like You, it sound much more delicious that way!
Reminder to all. Always automatically click Like when opening a CJP video, lest you forget!
Stopping by to send love to Chef Onyo!!!! 😘
The more I watch your videos, the more I love you! You are a gift. Thank you for sharing your talent with us.
Knowing that you'll have some left over frittata like this for lunch after the weekend sure takes the edge off the monday blues.
I want this guy to be my family! He's so delightful! 💕💕💕
I need to wise up and start planning my weekly trips to the grocery AFTER Chef JP posts a new video. Looks so good hate to have to wait to have the items in my pantry to try! Merci Chef!
Came home late from work the wife made a great supper. I watched the chef cook a frittata, got stuck watching another 14 videos, now I'm hungry again and it 215 in the morning... time fly's..... Thanks Chef
Bonjour from Paris, excellent idea for what I call, quick dinner after a movie. You come home late after watching a film, you take out of the fridge
Prepare a tomato or green salad and your evening is more better. Love your dishes that can be prepared before hand. Thank you 🙏
У меня слюнки потекли.
Culinary Perfection
you say "Frittata" the right way!! The best thing about frittat is you can through in whatever you have in the fridge.
"Sometimes it's because I forget to tell you things." That's so funny!
😄🤣😅😂😁🇺🇸😎
I tell people about your show and more offen that not, I get back, "Yes, I watch Chef Jean Pierre all the time. He's great isn't he?"
Congratulations on another fantastic show and all of your success Chef Jean Pierre! I always enjoy every second of it.
WOW! BEAUTIFUL! Breakfast or Brunch for a crowd!!! ❤
That looked beautiful.
My wife is half Spanish, and makes a bloody good Spanish tortilla. I think I'll be asking her to make this instead.
I bought those pans because of your show. Best pans I’ve ever owned. Pretty much only ones I use.
I absolutely love watching & listening to you cook …you remind me of my father in law that was a professional cook for hospitals & big corporations like Raytheon fantastic cook 👩🍳 he dirtied a lot of dishes/pots and pans but ALWAYS WORTH IT in the end …sadly passed away back in 1983 so I’ve missed all that but remember it fondly & you have rekindled all those great memories THANK YOU SO MUCH 😊
Like I have been saying….. Dutchsense you deserve the noble peace prize ! Dutchess is awesome 🤩 great views
It's not a mistake but a teaching moment. Just another reason Chef JP is one of the great chefs willing to share his knowledge and experience.
Jean-Pierre I'm shocked, what did you forget to do ? you forgot to say a blessing before you flipped it 😁 It looks amazing and so tasty I cannot wait to try this Thankyou, your the best ! ❤
What I like the most is Chef respects everyone’s dietary requirements and restrictions, like if you don’t eat bacon, don’t worry use olive oil, same goes for wine etc.
This man is a genius!
This is the most exciting and delicious looking frittata I’ve ever seen! I’ve always wanted to make one. Now, I will!
Yes chef, "sweat" the onions!! Love your energy & humility. Wish I had you as an instructor at culinary school. The school went out-of-business & the arrogant, snobby chef/ chairman of the savory department...you do not want to know...
You have never made a dish that I didn't think that was delicious, everything you make is a masterpiece
Chef. I’ve just discovered your channel a couple of weeks ago. I started with your mushroom sauce which my wife absolutely adores. I’m going to try this recipe today. Your instructions are clear and entertaining. Thank you.
Thank you 🙏
This is amazing! I have been overcooking my frittata for 30 year. Thank you for another terrific recipe.
Like the irreverent Sam the Cooking Guy says... If I got to pick my last meal it would be something with eggs. This is high on my list. Wouldn't be mad if this was the end😊
I absolutely love frittatas. I watched the older video earlier tonight. This is finally getting me soon. Yum! 😋
I made this. Absolutely delicious & part of my repertoire now. Thank you for sharing your amazing & personal favorite recipe! God bless!
P.S. I love these contemporary recipes. However, I'm wondering if you could share, occasionally, some of your "classic" recipes from when you owned your own restaurant. They could be dishes that are your favorites as well as those of your patrons at the time. 😊
I have to come back and watch this occasionally... because it looks sooo good!
Did anyone else see the smiley face appear when he poured the couli and it dripped? Then he just happened to say, "... whatever makes you happy..." . Adorable!
I have never liked frittata that much because I've eaten some bad ones before.
Decided to make yours chef and undoubtedly it was the most amazing frittata I've ever eaten! Definitely, it's gonna be on the menu in my house from now on.
Thank you for sharing your knowledge with us, chef Jean Pierre.
The King's breakfast! 🤤🤤🤤
You da man Chef Jean. Busy as hell, and still you seem as enthusiastic as the very first video I watched on your channel. Your energy is impressive.
Love the recipe, and love you editor! Whoever put the spinning buffering wheel on your head is a comedic genius. 🤣
For me, I like to see 'mistakes' especially since Chef JP doesn't edit out what he calls 'mistakes'. I see this as a learning opportunity and honestly, I'd be quite happy to see more of how to correct various mistakes because we all know we WILL make them! For instance, I made the delicious French onion soup recipe, cutting it in half. However, I did Not cut the amount of flour/butter for the roux in half. I tell you, somehow I had enough blonde roux to make a few gallons of soup, lol. I didn't know if I should just remove some of the roux before adding the stock (didn't seem like a good idea because too many ingredients were in it), or just add more liquid (which is what i did). Fortunately, I had just enough stock in my freezer to make it work, although my onion to 'soup' ratio was off - but it was very good anyway by some miracle. I now have French onion soup in my freezer to last the winter, lol. Anyway, I am never disappointed to see a mistake and learn how to fix it. TY as always chef for another amazing recipe!
❤dear Chef JP. You just brilliant in the kitchen. I do not see the time it takes for me to watch your cooking, i just feel that it should be much longer for me to learn. I share as many of your recipe as I have seen as you have done it. They go all over the World - as many Friends i have collected in my life, goes even to Brazil. France, England, Hungary, `USA. I am not quite sure where you are, but i am for ever Grateful to have found you, and looking and learning. One can never learn enough, we can improve and help others by sharing. That is Love. ❤😊 You are brilliant COOK, do not forget - we all make mistakes, but we can remember it at the right time. Wishing all the very best health and happiness - what ever you are doing. God JAH! Bless YOU ALWAYS.🎉❤
Breakfast! I’m in! 😋👏👏👏👏👏
Just amazing! Hungry again! 😅😅😅
Thank you, Chef JP, we appreciate you!
Yep that's a perfect Frittata. Another great authentic recipe
My man, I hit like button before I watch your videos
Well, I am having this for tomorrow's evening meal. My family will love it. Even I can do this.
I’m on top of trying another new Cheft Pierre recipe! And have my grocery list ready for the next 3 Chef Pierre recipes!!! Enjoying cooking each day! Just Keep Livin’
The best chef ever!
"There are no mistakes, just happy little accidents." 😂😂
Chef JP is a scientist & his lab is the kitchen. He tells you the purpose - the WHY of the procedural steps. Those basic steps are then carried over to subsequent experiments.
👍👍👍😊
Looks delicious!! Here’s my plate! 🥣
Jean-Pierre: Thank you for this wonderful frittata recipe. A frittata can almost be a complete meal. And, by the way, you are a loveable character. Keep up the good work!!!
To retain information, learning should be fun, and Chef Jean Pierre is hysterical 😂
Broccoli on top is good idea. Everyone gets a piece.
Also good tip on adding eggs to cool mix.
Thank you. One of my favourite memories is eating this in spain years ago for the first time.
How could I not have found you until now??!!!! LOVE the recipes...and the delivery!! Chef Jean-Pierre takes all the mystery out of fine dining and makes the process so approachable!
I can't tell you how many times I find myself laughing out loud!! Thank you!!!!💚
The benefit of not finding him until now, is there's two full years of videos to watch!!
And man have I worked up an appetite bingeing on them, lol!!
I must admit I've been cleaning up my culinary skills watching your videos. very informative on techniques and tricks. Thanks
Guess what's for lunch ?
Yum, yum, make u some !!
Just discovered this channel and have been binge-watching ever since. So funny, love the banter and energy. He not only tells you how but also tells you WHY. Love the snippets about his family!
Best cooking channel! Thank you so much for spreading your light and humour!
🙏🙏🙏😊
