A diverse, regulated and cared for community inside of us is exactly as important and necessary (and currently under threat right now) as a diverse, regulated and cared for community outside of us. Nice video again. Posting comment for 1st time. So,
    I recently started a protocol to restore intestinal flora and nasal flora, but before the start of the protocol itself I had to cleanse the intestinal tract with the laxative lacthiol (E966), I take live bacteria in liquid form - bifido blend and another blend of 12 different ones strains - lacto, bifido, streptococci, etc., alternating the different blends and taking them before the main meal. I just want to say that the effects of probiotics and improvement in my condition have been felt since the second day of taking it or as they said from the company I bought the probiotic kit from - there is no way 15 milliliters of probiotics can fight 2 kilograms of bacteria in the gut - it will take an awful lot of time, apparently and for this you need to cleanse the intestines before starting to load with new and living bacteria.

I've been using soil-based probiotics for the past 10 days, and my scale indicates a weight gain of +4 pounds (from 110 to 114). Interestingly, I had a similar experience six months ago with lactobacillus probiotics, and I stopped taking them when I noticed weight gain, after I stopped my weight went back to normal. Hi saw in a video that fos in probiotics is harmful? Whats your view on fos

    • @jayalexandertilley
      @jayalexandertilley Před 3 měsíci +2

      Hey. I'm not a doctor but am a holistic nutritionist. My gut tells me (pun intended) that having FOS in a probiotic could cause trouble for someone who's microbiome is in distress. For someone who is experiencing leaky gut, or other digestive issues, or has had a disruption to the community of bacteria in their gut through something like antibiotics, certain kinds of diets, etc., might not have the resident bacteria (abundance and diversity) to be able to properly breakdown the FOS. It's similar to why people go on low Fodmap diets, essentially to reset their microbiome, and then slowly reintroduce really good foods that require a healthy and diverse community of bacteria to be properly broken down and used. I hope that makes sense. For a healthy gut, the presence of FOS is potentially of great benefit. Having pre and probiotics together is a great strategy in food or supplement if and when your digestion is in good order.

    • @DrRuscioDC
      @DrRuscioDC  Před 3 měsíci

      Great question and this is one I get a lot. I covered some research a couple of months ago that actually showed that even heat-killed probiotics still provided benefit, so the "live" part of probiotics may not be as crucial as we had thought. You can watch that video here to get the details: czcams.com/video/mhrWHnOmiIM/video.html
      An additional thought is that there's a sizable body of research demonstrating benefits of non-enteric-coated probiotics. And my thinking here is if they didn't work, the research would reflect that. So I think we can be much less strict about probiotics. :)

      A whole food plant based diet as much as you can. Eating a lot of fresh, living foods (raw fruits and veggies, nuts and seeds, herbs and greens especially). Probiotics can be helpful across the lifespan, you can use them alongside a healthy diet, or as a supplement occasionally, or you can just focus on getting a lot of foods that have good probiotics in them (yogurt (there is great vegan yogurt), sauerkraut, kimchi, tempeh, kombucha, pickles, any fermented food, or raw organic fruits and veggies, which also will contain pre-biotics which feed the probiotics. Hope that helps.

      That would be an issue with it as well.

    Don't the bacteria in the probiotics die in the stomach from the acid ? What's the best way to get them into the small intestine ALIVE ?

      It depends on the capsules. I have used probiotics that were apparently made to survive the stomach acid.

      May need to clean your system first. Use Berberine and Oregano as herbal antibiotics for 2-4 weeks then try probiotics to rebuild. I’m in the middle of this right now- I’m also supporting this cycle with L-glutamine, curcumin, and zinc. I’m one week in and feel so much better already. Hardest part is quitting the junk food addiction.

      @@hermoinedavisluckett9217 i have nausea, pain, bloating... Never had an issue before...try keto diet and fasting... Damn me the day i trusted doctors. They sent us to die signing for it. And they knew it. A lot of people are dying after jabs... For me 30 months of pain every day. No diagnosis or help from doctors. Spent over 9000 euros to have nothing in hand... And can't recover..
