I'm a pastor myself but have never heard of this. It seems like a nice way to introduce certain people (Millennials mostly?) to the camaraderie and fun that should be characteristic of local church life. And I'm glad to see that it's not just all fun and games but that there is a thoughtful, serious side to what they're doing as well. All of that said, it's important that a quality church focus a lot on teaching not just the basics, but the deeper facets of what the Bible communicates; so hopefully this is happening too....

Jean Myrvil I agree! I have hard time seeing how the two can be combine. I used to love MMA, and I still respect martial arts, but it is hard for me to see how one can share and live out the Gospel message while pounding the crap out of someone (unless in the defense of someone else's life).
i see why some people don`t like this video. It must be difficult for some to combine together two opposites in one man-- his love for peace/kindness and his liking of aggression/war/fighting. To me, life is composed of opposites; everything comes in pairs, just like forces in physics. One just have to accept that and roll with it, striving for a balance.
