Thanks Sam, yeah I wanted to add something a bit different so the two levels I can hopefully have 2 different eras and locos won’t look too out of place 🙂
You have a good vision and plan to what you want to achieve which is a lot more than I can say for myself at the moment. A semi under cover station with with building over the top is becoming quite popular and adds a lot of depth, I look forward to seeing the progress. Cheers Rob.
I made a bit of a mistake with the 45 deg roof section. I didn't realise how much room is needed for the height of the train, meaning you will need about 6 inches or more to clear the roof from the track. I hope that makes sense. Regards Alan :o)
Yeah that does make a lot of sense and something I’ll take into account when I put the tracks in especially if I’m going to try put them more towards the back 👍🏻
I'm more looking forward to seeing trains running. But slow and steady wins the race. There is a backscene tip I have. You got the baseboard up first, check. Second, the backscene should be put up. This is so you can stick the scene on easily, before putting anything like a viaduct in front of it. However, you've done well. Take it steady, and don't rush. Christmas is looming, so make sure you buy a present for your wife to say thankyou for the items she bought for you. Nothing like sharing a kiss under the mistletoe. My channel is up and running again, if you'd like to check out my new community tab page and videos that are there. Sorry for not uploading anything for so long.😀
Sounds good Mark. Looking forward to seeing your ideas come to life. Regards Tom

Your on a roll with the layout, interesting to see how the levels come together
So difficult to describe what's in our heads but I see what the general idea is. I'll be watching...Andy.
That will certainly change the layout. Great looking project. I think that is the same brick paper I have, looks really good
