*Unfortunately I wasn't able to find a stylized artpiece for Santana that matches these other beautiful works.
A collection of themes from the Battle Tendency OST associated with the Pillar Men. It's possible I might have left one out but..these are the primary ones. Considering the Pillar Men don't generally share a melody across each of their respective tracks like DIO, Kira and Diavolo, the order of the tracks isn't specific though I tried to keep the Aztec Dubstep themes towards the back-end.

If nothing else, the Pillar men have the best localized names. Cars, ACDC, and Wham just don't feel at all like names of ancient aztec vampire lords. Kars, Esidisi, and Wamuu are so much more fitting even though they've barely been changed.

Ancientry always fucking slapped. Imo the most menacing track in JoJo. Fits the whole theme that the pillar men arent like anything anyones seen before. They arent human. They arent zombies. They arent vampires. They are higher beings. Spooky shit

Santana had a good theme. I wouldnt have said dubstep but seeing as how crazy they were as villains and it was 2012, seems pretty fitting tbh
I think the mix of dubstep with ancient music traditions was briliant, because the blending of old and new, primitive and technologically advanced, fits the pillar men so perfectly. I also notice how it's most removed from traditional types of music for Kars themes, which makes sense since his people had stagnated and Kars wanted to progress. It shows how he's different, and Awaken shows his influence on his companions.

Yeah, I loved them. Everyone loves Whamu for being an honorary Jobro, but I found him the least intriguing. Still his death broke my heart, but mostly for Kars. Whamu died happy and Kars was left with the pain of loosing both his companions.
But yeah, I wanted more Esidisi and Santana as well.

Something i find really sad is that JoJo never really went too in depth about the existence of gods. If the pillermen exist then there must be more like them right? I feel like this series could have went a while different way if Araki really wanted it too.
If I remember Araki explained that Kars slaughtered his whole race after they rejected his proposal of evolved vampiric world dominations save for Aidici and two babies that would become Wamu and Santana. Wile we actually been told what actually happened, I think it might be hard to have slaughtered them all seeing how big the world is. So in short, we actually been told what happened but its not super believable.
We also have the consept of fate, the creator of the arows, the existence of ailiens... So many things could have been explained. Maybe they have been in the manga and Im just looking stupid right now. But I'm quite shure thats about the something-heaven and then a paralel universe soo....
It would also have been nice to see the different maincasts interact more. Neither part 4 or 5 was really conected to 1 2 3 If you don't see the huge amount of standusers as a result of DIO.
Actually, there was a character that I really didnt understand. We left the era of Gods right? But who is this “Hermes” from the part 4 OVA?

I just relate to Whamu the least, though I love them all and his character development was great. But he's also the only Pillar Man I don't feel sad for, because he died happy and fulfilled, having met his personal goals in life.
My heart really aches for Kars and Santana the most.

Kars: egotistical, murderer of his own race, hated those who he believes wronged him, was dishonorable towards a 1v1, shows no remorse for his fallen brothers (deserves what he got)
Esidisi: powerful yet a follower, tactically sound, did as he had to in order to get the stone, loyally followed Kars even through genocides (deserved a more honorable death)
Wamuu: Honorable, cunningly brave, not heartless unlike his brother's, was raised by Kars and Esidisi 'meaning he didn't participate in the genocide of his people' (Well deserved honorable death)
Santana: Was raised by Kars and Esidisi along side Wamuu, Had been assigned to a seperate location, thought of by Kars as a Guard dog, showed no interest in fighting besides to escape (deserved a more honorable approach to his end)
This is pretty much the most underrated video in all of youtube

You know, it's kind of interesting how understated Esidisi's theme is when his personality is anything but. What an interesting contrast.
I love how each pillarman fight in their own unique way, they all have seperate fighting techniques.
*Wamuu is noble, proud and brave.* Fights fairly and gives their opponent a chance for redemption.
*Esidisi is clever and a strategic fighter.* Attacks their opponent mentally and doesn't let his emotions control him.
*Kars is ignorant, egotistical and a trickster.* Underestimates his opponent, gloats a lot and does whatever he needs to win.
What about Santana?

It is perfect to have this looping in the background as I start my assignment due 2 days later that is worth almost half of my total grade....
I love how a lot of the tracks use little muddled samples of voices talking in the background. It reminds me of living in a haunted house where you hear the voices of people long dead but can't tell what they are saying. It really fits, especially for Deep Curse, given the fact that it's an abandoned temple ruin.
Amazing work. I didn't even know half of these existed because as always, the OST doesn't have them.

I like putting together these "suites", featuring many (if not all) of a villain's themes in one video.
On a side note - I need a little advice on something...
So I've been using Windows Movie Maker for the video part. No shocker there, outdated software that it is. All the music itself on the channel is edited within a separate program naturally. I've been going with WMM since the beginning here and...I'm just not feeling the look of the videos as much anymore (they work for what they are but could be better visually). Yeah they're pictures (fanart, wallpapers or images from the series itself) set to soundtracks with some even including little transitions throughout the anime. However...I've seen so many people around with anime OSTs on their channels and they've got all sorts of special effects, the pictures seem to move about and even elements within them (sometimes the grass in a picture) seem to be moving independently. I'd like to spice up the visual aspect of these videos rather than just cycle through colors and all that lol
Can anyone give me an idea of what exactly these other youtubers are using software wise for their videos? I don't really need anything for the music part (though recommendations are welcome) but I'd like to do more with the actual video part of these videos lol Hopefully you all are enjoying them as they come out.
So lot of people seem to use adobe premiere or vegas but pretty sure they're like super expensive, otherwise there's a cool free video editing software that i use called Hitfilm express, I don't really know if it's a good idea for your types of videos but it's free and has a lot of features, otherwise you can also buy addons for it
Thank you for putting this together. Not all JJBA music appeals to me the same, and the way these themes relate to eachother makes them even better when listened to together, like listening to a good album instead of a greatest hits compilation.

Ok, there's an element in Develop that reminds me so much of something I've heard before, something that I loved and then hadn't heard for a long time and forgot about, and I can not for the life of me place it, which is killing me because I love it so much. Why is this song breaking my brain, agh.
(Edit) One of the elements is reminding me of 'We're All Nighters', by Liam Lynch... there's another element I still can't place though! Something that pulls at my heartstrings.

I know this is a *very* old video, but I have a favor to ask.
If you have the time and interest - it would be most kind of you if you could extend Fields of Fright, its a very unique atmospheric song that I personally really like, so it'd be great for such an overlooked yet good song to get an extension.
If you don't want to extend it - That's okay! You're doing this for free basically - I can't thank you enough for the current extensions to be honest, and the fact you don't want to extend one song is perfectly fine(which should be common sense, but this is the internet)
