I like how Goku’s training and godly power is matched by Bardock’s experience and skill. I’d like to imagine that Goku’s base form is far stronger but Bardock is skilled enough to keep up.
That would also mean as SSJB *far* surpasses SSJ and SSJ3. Goku went MUI purely to show off, which is kinda funny.

I appreciate you including UI state in this. I was literally thinking "even now, Goku is holding back" when he was fighting in SS2. But right as I said that, you had Goku using UI! It was kind of crazy

It's funny to have two superb animations of Goku battling Bardock in such little time, and yet the contexts are so different.
Even in sprites, super saiyan 2 fights are always super aggressive. I love it.

the distortion in the audio during the transformations is just crisp enough to be satisfying.
This was great not just for the fight, but for us being able to see the concept of Goku meeting his dad come to life. What a wholesome video!

If I may make a suggestion, it would be really cool for once to see a victory by the Earthlings, who are often mistreated by a large part of the community and by the dragon ball writers themselves. For example a what-if with Yamcha, Tienshinhan and Chiaotzu capable of using the potential unleashed with the Kaioken would be cool.

I really hope Goku wishes back Bardock or something. Cause not only does he know his dad is strong since he defeated Gas in the past,but Goku also knows that his dad is a pretty good guy since he saved Granolah and his mother. But great animation as well
This is so touching, a Spar between Father and Son. Imagine if this happened between Vegeta and King Vegeta.
This is by far the best Goku Bardock fight with father son interaction that would most likely ne the case.

Amazing choreography. Storyboarding is great, and your use of sprites is honestly superior to hyourin's. I can read what is happening in the animation much more easily. This animation is awesome!
