I saw these on aliexpress about £120+vat, but preorder, decided I want one there and then, I do love unimogs, your video hasn’t changed anything. I’d like to see them bring out a more specced version with their usual attention to detail, 2 speed, opening doors etc. for those of us who love the details…. As always nice informative video. 😀

Locked diffs? My pet dislike with all these cars is they arrive/drive with a 'ghost' driver. They look stupid driving around with no 'pilot'. You have done what the manufacturers should supply or at least offer as an option. Added a driver; well done Mr T!!!!! Keep up the appreciated content! Cheers
We are usually not equipped with figures. You can choose your favorite drivers. This will enrich its playability, we can see that tomley's own driver is also great. ; )

This looks like a really lovely model.
However I have to correct your video title: That Unimog model isn't derived from a 406, but it's smaller sister model the 421 Unimog.
They share the same cab and gearboxes, but the 421 is a lot smaller and "weaker".
The key difference between the 406 and 421 is the position of the air intake. Whilst the big 406 and 403 Unimogs with truck engines had the air intakes on the drivers side, the 421 had a car engine and the air intake on the passenger side.
Other give aways are the smaller bed which is not as wide as the cab on the 421, but on the 406 it overhangs on both sides.
Furthermore the interior hood is a far smaller in the 406 than the 421.
Then the 421 itself had some minor upgrades over the years. They started out with 40/45HP models which had a straight fender with three bends.
Yours must be derived from one of the lager 50-60HP models, because it has the half round rear fenders.

I own most of the FMS collection and the hard bodies are surprisingly resistant, only damage i've done to any of mine has been the bumper on both the LC80 and Hilux. Mirrors, snorkels and paint still intact surprisingly

Love this roc hobby do awesome scale rigs I'd put some wood veneer panels on the bed to give it a bit more realism but looks amazing how it is hopefully they will start doing things in 10th scale aswel great video bud

Hi, please help my unimog suddenly stopped and since then my transmitter can only spin left right steering for the front wheels but the truck just not moving forward or backward. Is calivration is needed? May I know how?

Can someone help?!?! I got this thing but I find out fms has an actual unimog that is 2-speed and not a fairy color, yet I can't find anyone acknowledging on YT that this mogrich is something different from the fms unimog. So should i return this mogrich now that I know there is a 2 speed better one out there?... especially cuz it wasn't cheap and it's basically same as other fms products????

The orange lights on top look oit of scale. A bit of a miss from RocHobby. Unimog should have portal axles.
I think the real ones have them on bracket coming off the roff, rather than on the roof itself

You probably didn’t watch the whole video then. I didn’t like the colour, didn’t like that the lights on the rear don’t stay on and didn’t like how fragile it is… but other than that, yeah.. all positive 😅
Oh… and didn’t like that the doors don’t open and that you have to take the body off to get a figure in.. but yeah, still.. all positive 👌

I do love the smaller cheaper stuff and I know you do as well but this seems trash for its £125 UK price tag. loads of much better stuff about for that kind of money and you do point out some faults with it but I think cos it was a paid production you was being Kinder than you should of been. to me this looks like the cheap £30 banggood stuff. and I do own them cheap banggood things
Certainly not trash. I’ve taken it to a crawler course today and it impressed me even more. You’ll probably not find a hard body ‘Mini’ scale crawler for much less that performs as good. The new hardbody SCX24 is a bit more expensive and I’d say that may be a bit better than this
Too many fragile sticky out bits but a nice model all the same. Not 100% sold on that colour
