20 years later we will live in underground vault and play Super Mario on old console instead of playing these things because of nuclear war, Robot invasion or something
@ if that happens anyone will be lucky enough to find a place with an abundant enough electricity, food and water to indulge in playing video games . You’ll likely be searching for a suitable place to plant crops , which would likely already by regulated by some kind of armed militia or organization. And electricity which would need a reliable fuel source would not b wasted on things like video games

honestly, just fucking imagine GTA 7 on a world scale. Probably won't be Rockstar games that does that though... They don't have the resources. I think Microsoft might though.

lol sadly , same here , from an original Microsoft flight sim user from the 80's.....
I started on the original Sub Logic flight simulator for Apple 2 - before they were bought by Microsoft. Primitive wire frame graphics that would update once every second or so ;)
@9:20, this is a really common mistake for inexperienced heli pilot. If you just try to put the heli into a sudden stop by making a sharp 90 degrees turn like what you did, you will have a high chance to get into rotor vortex and which can be a death sentence for a heli. Slow down your heli gentally and loose altitude in the process, never exceed 5 m/s descent speed when you are hovering.

was it really that sharp? That was very minor, I've seen helo's IRL do that often iirc.
Not... Vortex Ring state occurs in hover conditions and vertically descending. Sharp pull ups are a normal maneuver used for quick stops or obstacle avoidance. Crop dusters do this all the time. You cannot imagine how vertical they can actually pull up and return to target. You will, however, lose your license flying like that in and around NYC IR. lol

@@Nick-hdi9375bs-ow That would be nice. But there is no way three geniuses with three different approaches working together in the same house. Even if they all speak the same language, Bits-and-Bytes, it would not work. It would be catastrophic, chaotic, and would kill the beauty of competitiveness.
I think they are in a good position they way they are. Intellectuals simulating aviation world, competing, and try their outmost best to come out the best.

This is even better in VR with a 4090 and G2. Helicopters with their large cockpit view are great in VR.
and you can get a G2 for incredibly cheap right now. directly from HP it's $299

@@sootierpluto everything is relative. a Reverb G2 is a VR headset that's very good for simulators. it used to cost $600, now it's only $300. all the other VR headsets are $500 or more, some of them over $1000. so it's just cheap in the context of other VR headsets.
@@sootierpluto The G2 is a PC VR headset, you can buy it for $299 brand new. For consoles, you have the PSVR2 (And btw your Xbox doesn't even support VR.), which costs $600. It's litteraly twice the price for far less games.
Don't let the price of the console fool you, they make everything worse than on PC and sell everything at a higher price : Subscriptions to get online gaming and "free" games (both are already free on PC) to get cloud gaming (free on PC) and to get "exclusive sales/discounts" (also free on pc), Games being more expensive (+you have an all-digital console), and obviously, worse hardware than what you could have.
@@NFIVE30 yeah but i cant afford to build a PC. I feel like paying the same price for just one PC part as you'd pay for a used car is just insane. its not in the cards for me. and a used car is way easier to fix, maintain, clean etc. I would love to have a PC but the price tag doesn't feel justifiable.
I bought an RTX 3070, and my previous "gpu" was the integrated graphics from a Ryzen 7 5700g, and my first flight with the new GPU was exactly this, it was an insane difference, I´m loving it
That "thunking" from the anti-torque pedals is way over-the-top. It's neat they added them, but there ought to be a way to lower the in-cockpit volume of those elements specifically. So distracting, lol.

I really appreciate the effort that Microsoft workers put into creating realistic but still performant clouds. Can't wait to see them taking them to the next level, where they become completely indistinguishable from real life clouds. Maybe through some AI filter?

if this is the level of graphics that we have now, which is amazing to say the least, i would imagine that in the next 5-10 years the graphics will likely be almost totally indistinguishable from real life. Amazing. I just wish they would speed up the process even quicker so that we will all get to experience these amazing things in our lifetime at least. Especially VR and AR (the future).
Manchildren will be able to escape reality even more efficiently. Yay.

Your whole VR, PC, Flight Controllers and Graphics Card have got to be Thousands of dollars to run this with that kind of quality. I was blown away. I have a Dell G5, RTX 1650 super card and Xbox controllers with a Avegant GLYPH headset and TrackIR all totalling $1300. I could only imagine what system you have.

The buildings look so good. A graphics card wouldn't improve the photogrammetry but yours look awesome.
Buildings directly from google earth looks pretty bad actually, there are really very few nicely modeled ones.

Have you had issues with the 407? I been trying to find out why all system shut off, with no success of starting back up, looked on forums no help at all, if you’ve ran into the problem can you please tell me how you fixed it

Awesome, thank you. Did the RTX 4090 make all the difference for you, given the Sim is usually subject to a CPU bottleneck? I have an RTX 3090, i7-12700, and 32GB RAM, and I think in this setting I would get around 40 FPS only or less.
Thanks for watching mate!! Yeah, it,s another planet... I mean, the 3090 is a very good card but the 4090 gives me more than 100 fps.. I Didn't noticed bottlenecks even with an I9 9900k. Now i'm going with an I9 13900K and gained other 20 fps.
So nice of them to bring heli tours back to GTA 6. Oh wait...

Ciao, nessun problema, figurati... no, non uso reshade ma spendo un po di tempo nella correzione del colore in postproduzione. Puoi sicuramente ottenere lo stesso risultato con reshade regolando luminosità, contrasto, saturazione ed esposizione

Non so se conosci "Variable" qua su YT, è un creator americano che porta MSFS con una grafica particolare, usa molto reshade e mi piacerebbe almeno provare qualcosa di simile anche se forse a tratti potrebbe sembrare poco realistica perchè presenta una saturazione particolare e un DOF intenso! :D
Certo che lo conosco, fà dei video da panico!! è tra i miei preferiti. Personalmente, per scopi di "content creation", preferisco non intervenire in tempo reale ma spendere un po più di tempo in post. Hai più controllo sui parametri e diversi vantaggi ma se cerchi il miglioramento in tempo reale, reshade è sicuramente l'opzione migliore. Puoi provare a chiedere se ti condivide il preset, Variable...
@@FlightSimulation Glielo ho chiesto più volte ma a quanto pare sembra che trovi sempre delle "scuse" per non insegnare a chi lo segue come fare. Personalmente se io fossi venuto a conoscenza di un settaggio particolare MI FAREBBE MOLTO PIACERE condividerlo con altri ma a quanto pare non tutti pensiamo così!.

Are u sure with your spec system not bottleneck? From what i read and see, even using i9 12th gen still not enough handle that 4090 :)

how do you remove the air-flow lines? on my Flight-Sim it shows the wind airflow around the helicopter...

the graphics card is really used and you can see whether 60 fps can be maintained at all in such weather

4K or 8K, it all does not matter. What matters these days is if the simulation runs well in VR. That is the future of this genre!
