Thank you vor the video! The Psychophage conversion is very insightful - it just kicked me into converting mine in a very similar way!

There is a bit of misinformation in this video I'd like to clear up.
First, Ripper swarm units can be run in units of 1-3 now and most people recommend 2 per unit so you basically get a unit with packs.
Second, The Zoanthrope and Neurothrope hasn't gone anywhere the Neurothrope and 2 Zoanthrope's are their own unit now just like Tyranid prime with warriors.

awsome conversions! I might have to try switching the screamer killers head out on my second one. I always assumed with the psychophage it had its booty up in the air because that was where its shooting attacks come from, and it was trying to angle the jets to spew out over its head, though i definitley agree it looks a bit off, and probably isnt the wisest idea to expose that fleshy soft underbelly

The scream in the video is way to loud for people wearing headphones. It was kind of harsh.

I wish I did that for my screamer-killer, I’m sad I didn’t think of it

Dope video. Cool tips. I especially like the ripper swarm advice.

I've been considering gettig the starter set, and hadn't an idea what to do with the 'Nid half.
These conversions are pretty good and challenging, so definitely something I'd consider now :)

I'm a huge fan of the Tyranids, and it was their design of 3-4 Editions that drew me into Warhammer.
But I don't like the trend in new miniatures like psyhophague and new biovore: scything talons should not be for walking limb! Especially biovore, it looks like a cheap conversion from extra bits.
I would say to GW: keep the zergs and arachnids away from my beloved Tyranids.
I would consider replacing the hind legs with some traditional hooved ones.

Agree. Scythes are for fighting not walking!
As well as hooves i could do with some more actual talons on the feet atleast for some of the more climbing/sneaky dudes (the new lictors have a nice mix of split hoof and claw)

Lol that’s the exact thing I did with my winged prime. Didn’t like the lower wing placement at all. You have a little more wiggle room to pose the wings from the upper position too, so you can give him a different look

So, I love the screamer convertion. I really dislike its head, but last model didn't quite hit me. I think you've done a good conversion, however, in my mind the model makes sense if it comes down from a piece of terrain. It sort of have this arachnid pose as it decent from a building or tree.

The Zoanthrope and Neurothrope are still there they're now just a unit of 1 Neurothrope and 2 Zoanthrope's.
