I’m trying to figure out some tyrannofex modifications myself I’m thinking about making it look like a barbgaunt but the shape of the body isn’t making it easy
What about using an exocrine+tyranofex? Their body shape is a bit closer

Haven't done anything to change my tyranids but its really cool seeing the different ways you can add parts between them!
Almost all the nid kits look great as is its one of the best looking out of the box armues i would say. Nice that all the bits go together so well though!
@@average_joe_krootdude5240 Yeah, the only Nid kit I don't like because I think it looks bad is the Raveners lol. Those guy are sooooo ugly in comparison to everything else. Like, I don't like the Sporocyst or Tyrannocyte, but that's because I just don't find them appealing, they are good models though, at least from what I've seen of them
@@gammothdraws yea they for sure could use a rework. There are a few nitpicks i have about certain bits and pieces but its all easily fixed stuff like a head or body swap
@@average_joe_krootdude5240 They're definitely one of the cooler armies out there imo although I hate the Worf hair on the screamer killer's head. I'll probably try to find another head I like from another model or maybe even a proxy. Your tyrannofex pose is so cool though! Its crazy how much standing him up changes how he looks and feels!

It’s ok. I mean they kind of look cool, but they are a lot bigger. So hiding them in cover is gonna suck. They are gonna get shot right off the board. 🤣🤣

@@average_joe_krootdude5240 it’s funny that people always say that they don’t care about winning and just care about having a cool army, but every time I play them they get super competitive and just care about winning lol
@@mr.finkle4677 need a new group then maybe lol we dont even know half the rules so things like line of sight and whatever are the least of our worries 😅 half the time my friends are using pop cans as tanks or an action figure as an imperial knight
@@average_joe_krootdude5240 I play at game shop. About 10 regulars. Nice guys, but they always win. They study and play in tournaments. They say they just play for fun and play the army you love but they all have meta armies, and when the bell rings the gloves come off and they go for the knockout. I being playing for 6 months now and about 40 games so far if not more and have not come close to winning. Lol maybe I do need a new group of people. It’s pretty frustrating
@@mr.finkle4677 yea that sounds brutal not gonna lie lol its just me and like 3 friends in someones living room. I have the most models and stuff by far but i mostly like the modeling part of the hobby.they are even more chill than me so no one takes it very serious. My one buddy and I used to a bit more but he doesnt play anymore
