  • After BYD launched its sodium ion battery Zeekr a Chinese EV made by Geely, launches a new EV equipped with CATL's advanced new Qilin battery and C CTP 3.0.
It is the first battery available to reach 621 miles (1000km) of range with only one single charge and will be equipped in the Company's luxury minivan the zeekr 009 as well!
It has fast charging capabilities by recovering 80% of its capacity in just 10 minutes! an advanced new cooling system gives the battery an edge in high performance. It is the next-gen new battery technology 2023 amongst solid state battery.
After BYD and CATL have revealed the sodium ion battery and started mass production, the CATL CTP battery is the most advanced lithium ion battery available today.
The Qilin battery 3.0 is a giant leap forward in the world of electric vehicles and promises to change everything for the industry! the China-based Zeekr is going to be the first international brand to take advantage of the new Qilin battery in its entire vehicle range. Zeekr is a Chinese EV Company with global intentions offering 3 premium models: a premium hatchback sedan the zeekr 001, a luxurious Multi-Person Van zeekr 009, and a new crossover SUV the zeekr x are amongst the brand's lineup in 2023.
But CATL is also the biggest EV battery supplier in the world. Promising 600+miles batteries to be eventually available for western auto brands like Tesla battery as well

The best Cars at the moment can charge with 2,7C Peak. So with losses included to get this Battery from 10-80% in 10 minutes would require close to 600 kW constant Charge Power. No way...

The Four Stages of Charge are sequenced so I think you’d charge a car battery in individual sections
A charge controller or voltage regulator is an important addition to any electric system.
The advantages of a voltage regulator include: longer life expectancy for the battery banks, faster and more reliable charges and an overall healthier battery bank.
Most voltage regulators perform four stages of battery charge:
      The bulk charge
      The absorption charge
      The float charge
      The equalization stage
The bulk charge is when a battery has depleted its charge by providing amperage the voltage drops.
During the bulk charge, the alternator output is maximized until the battery voltage is raised to the desired level.
The battery packs should be configured so a section is always charging and another section is being used. So once bulk charging is done absorption takes place.
The absorption charge is also known as the acceptance charge.
If the high rate of charge produced in the bulk charge were to be continued, the batteries would heat up producing a gassing effect and in extreme cases runaway gassing which is a potentially explosive situation.
To avoid this the voltage is held steady to the desired level achieved in the bulk charge but the amperage is reduced according to what the battery will accept.
We need to charge the battery in stages which represent the mechanical motion of a combustion engine
The battery charging stages need to represent the mechanics of a combustion engine
intake, compression, combustion and power stroke, and exhaust
You need to set the battery cell up to disperse energy as a combustion engine would
The alternator would essentially be the gas and the battery packs would work like a combustion engine
This stage provides the harder to reach places of the battery to absorb.
The charge rate at this pressure will remain for a set period of time or until the acceptance rate of the battery reaches 2%.
At the end of this stage the battery will be close to fully charged.
The float charge, once again if the rate of charge set at the absorption stage were to be continued beyond the desired level the battery would be damaged from over charging.
To avoid this the regulator brings down the pressure of voltage.
This protects the battery from overcharging while the engine is running for extended periods of time.
Many regulators have many features that are designed to prolong battery life, as well as, to enhance safety. Some of them are:
A fourth equalization charge that conditions a battery and is essential for obtaining maximum life expectancy.
Temperature compensation, managing temperature in a battery bank when charging prevents the batteries from overheating by managing charging rates.
As well as custom settings for flooded, AGM, and gel batteries
I could go on and on
But you could make a difference with this type of battery if it were run with an alternator system
      It would literally charge itself
The “power loss” you speak of is a torque issue
      Not an electrical one

    • @jasonscott6640
      @jasonscott6640 Před rokem

@@1314fangqingxing this type of configuration I’m thinking of and working on is not perpetual motion either because there are cells in the loop that will not work after dilapidation of energy
The power band is always driving the car
The alternator charges the dead sections of the battery
So it’s not perpetual motion because their are sections of the battery cell that will not work
Those sections are in line to be charged
The fully charged sections are in line to run
The discharged sections are waiting to be charged
So your switching cells on a circuit board system would be my guess
      A firing pattern
      As the car is working
      It is charging as well
The motor doesn’t see the used cells only the alternator
The motor only receives the battery at full charge

Even then they can decide to use charging stations.
The original EV the leaf only did 70'-80 miles electric only.
And in the cold Evs can lose up to a third of their range.
Why the prejudice and arrogance against. EV plug in hybrids the plug is for a reason?
And also plug-ins bring more people into ev driving people who dont have a garage and who must park on the street or live in cold climates with few charging stations.
They are faster good looking and help reduce green house gases and used less heavy metal mining then most electric only cars meaning their emissions footprint is less than many evs.why not embrace both for a cleaner environment instead of this one size fits all or you are an enemy narrative when every little bit helps in reality.
