@@Akk_ii Yeah. Secret Dream has the best CG so far, but the models could be improved overall...
I think the fact they use the secret thing as a way to bond over. Instead of literally secret identities.
We saw it with the designer girl and I hope we see more
I hope the cgi improves, characters get good development and struggles, fix the pacing, cut down the dialogue, and add more coords into the anime.

I love how balanced it turned out🥳
I hope we get to se the other girls more in the spotlight,especially tamaki since she seems boring and bland,but if you see her game exclusive songs you can hear how powerful her voice is, same with sakura's voice, I hope chii finally gets her song, its been teased two times in this arc, some of the arcade coords are really unique, especially Flower march, Tsumugi's brand. Oh and I hope himari gets more character development,since my impression of her its that she stopped being so ankward and shy by episode 2
Sometimes it feels like there no real MC since they all have about the same depth of character
Pros:
- The music is amazing, Pretty Series never disappoints
-Love the designs for the girls (waiting for Rinrin to get her episode)
-Amazing coords
-Chii's episode and Tsumugi's mystery
Cons:
-Misuse of the internet idol conept (hopefully as the series goes on they do more interesting things, other than being diet Pripara)
-No Making Drama/Yattemita/Illusion/Prism Jump... why would you remove the best part of your franchise? Doubt it will be added in this season since it's not part of the arcades either...
-It's not Primagi S2 :(
I'll probably end up with the same opinion on Aipri as I did for Prichan; "it was ok, songs were bangers though" I don't see it annoying me
I relate to this comment soooo much! I think we've got similar thoughts and I'm glad someone understands.
The Pretty Series has gone through a lot of change to survive this long. I only hope that the arcade does well
Like I said in a previous community post, Aipri is ok and I can see the potential within the series. I just feel like things are happening too fast such as the debut of Ruby=Lazuli, the first Grand Prix, Himari and Mitsuki figuring out each other’s identities, and the debut of Tsumugi. They’re also taking way too long to introduce new coords and I’m tired of them always wearing the buzzalume coords. They also need to cut down on the dialogue when they perform because it’s starting to get annoying. Other than that, I still think Aipri is worth watching and I still think it’s going to improve over time. Right now my favorite characters are still Chii, Mitsuki, and Sakura. I like Himari but I wish they give her more struggles as an idol because I feel like she just glides through everything if that makes sense. Overall, nice video!
I really like Chii too! She's getting a lot of good character work.
As for the pacing, my biggest hope was that they speed past the recycled ideas and start giving us original content. But given the past few episodes, I guess they need some more time to get going...
I think Aipri is mainly struggling from the studio change. Episode 1 was a strong start but the direction they took the anime in kinda makes you wonder if they did things too fast. The Victoria part should have probably ended at episode 12 so that we could see Himari and Mistuki grow more as characters before having a live together. Tsumugi's name reveal was a little bit fast too but I kinda don't mind it. As of episode 13, there's a hint towards something dark possibly happening so we might get a good surprise for the next upcoming arc.
I love Aipri so far but the CGI is a big downgrade for mainly Himari's live in particular. It seems to be based on the arcade game, but the game looks better which makes me wonder why they didn't just copy the game's assets at times. The anime so far is doing good at keeping things interesting unlike some parts of Prichan season 1 that felt boring to me. It's like they tried to combine all Pretty Series anime and tried to copy the success of Pripara. We'll see how this goes but I think it's still kinda trying to find it's footing for now like how Prichan season 1 tried to do
The way the characters are introduced is kinda weird to me. I can understand holding off on focusing on different characters, but it feels like Rinrin and Airi barely exist as they are now. Even Tamaki doesn't really seem to stand out much. I'm hoping for improvement me in terms of that to some extent. The coords are also the same in almost every episode which doesn't make sense. There should be more variety since that would make people more excited to see their favorite characters in different outfits instead of the same ones often
Buzzrium/Buzzlume change is also interesting to me since it seems like we only get to see someone's full live whenever they are able to do it. I'd like to see Chii's full live with her being successful and one with her failing to show her growth. I love what I see so far but there's definitely many ways to make it better as it is now. By the way Himari and Mistuki are both the main characters so I think that's notable because of how future episodes might focus on them together like the Ruby=Lazuli episode did
Episode 1 WAS a strong start. I could tell people would dislike it but I was optimistic. I'm also unsure why they can't just use arcade CG but it could be a licensing thing with the studios.
Chii is my favorite character so far. I didn’t expect to like her when she was first announced.
The CG this season is a step down from its predecessor, but I think they’re making their way up. But what will bother me until then is how the game’s CG has better models. For example, when you compare Himari and Mitsuki’s anime models with their game models, the anime makes their heads look flatter (like how Chloe from MLB has a very flat head compared to Marinette when she wore a Ladybug costume.)
My biggest gripe with the series is how the characters keep talking over the lives. Stand Get Up by Ruby=Lazuli was such a banger, but man, I was genuinely upset by the talking because I like the song so much.
I barely knew what Stand Up Get Up sounded like till they released the youtube version. I also have an issue with Tamaki's hair model

I've never watched a Pretty Series before, but I have wanted to check them out. Interesting to what you think!

Episodes 7 and 8 were some of my favs because theres actually cunny moments instead of what we'd seen so far taking itself a bit too seriously at times.
Its story telling isn't very strong nor is the themeing but it could still be alot of fun if theylet them selves be a bit more goofy
Right? I think they need to embrace a faster, wackier style of humour instead of relying on the chibis. The animation has never been a strong point but we DO need some more frames to drum up the antics

i think aipri is finally starting to pick up since episode 13! i do still feel it's a bit fast paced though and just a pripara lite. i've grown to like more of the simpler designs but tsumugi's does feel too plain. maybe she will get a change later kind of like falulu's awakening or daia
I'd definitely say Tsumugi is the most interesting character
So far only Tsumugi and Chii as character that I like in Aipri, although I still don't really like Tsumugi's hairstyle when she's supposed to be a mysterious idol for Aipri. The pacing is way too fast for me, especially about the Headmasters. For CGI, I think they got improve on Tsumugi performance
Still, I'm still sad is not Primagi S2 because I really like Primagi and can see many potential lore of S2 could bring. Aipri is okay for me, I'd hope they could fix the pacing and maybe bring more lore about Aipri world itself
I'm also not a fan of Tsumugi's hairstyle. It's so plain. I think the show needs to find its own identity
It's an Okay series for me, nothing special, the events are happening so quickly that loose the impact. They said that the bazzlume change are so difficult to realize but every episode has one so they losse impact. I like some of the designs but they are kind of plain and the CG are kind of simple as well. The world of AIPRI IS SOOOOOO BORING AND SMALLL (We just had Idol Land). Its and Okay series but not the best one for the pretty series.Himari wants to make 1000 friends, but for me the reality is WHY she has only one friend if she have this kind of golucky personality, if she is shy and starts to make friends because of aipri hell yeah makes sense but at least i supposed she can make a lot of friends. I'm a Tsumugi fan she is kind of the faruru of the series and her song is so cute
I love Tsumugi so much. I'm also hoping that Himari will develop more
This series is very good. I stopped watching the previous series when the protagonist's best friend became a super idol overnight, the guy made lollipops the other day and suddenly he became a super dancer with that wolf. The series was also quite boring and was the first to have a single season. Himitsu works much better, the friendship between the protagonists is very captivating. Just like Wonderful Precure, which revitalized the franchise after years of sameness and lukewarm series, Himitsu at a lower intensity, as Waccha was the only stumble, gives a good feeling
