What kind of fashion do you think expect from Aikatsu Academy?
Personally, I'd love to see more street and gyaru fashion. I'd also love the return of head accessories and complex designs.
First of all, we need to get rid of some already established brand themes, they're aren't bad (far from it!), but it's becoming too repetitive (ie. Gothic, Tropical, Floral). I even did this in my fan Aikatsu series and replaced them with new styles or ones that weren't given room to breathe. I want Aikatsu to bring back Sakurairo Kaden and Mecha Paniq's design philosophies while experimenting with them!
@@magicvalgirl2309 Right??? I feel like the gothic and pop brands were suffering the most.
As for Mecha Paniq, I feel that the CGI has come far enough to support a super accessorized Decora coord
@@cureice if Planet has shown us anything, is that the CGI should be powerful enough to animate details like the ones in Mecha Paniq. As long as the designers know how to work around the "over design" idea of harajuku, we could get one of the best pop PRs in Aikatsu Academy!

I was already biased toward the horoscope concept, but sweets surprised me with how polished its designs were! If there's one thing I'd improve overall is the textures, the tradeoff of a more cel-shaded rendering style is that you don't get the same texture variation as previous series. I'm glad they still found ways to experiment with cut and silhouette 🙏
Oh wow. I didn't think much about the texture, but you're right. It could've elevated the Crepe textures or the Desert Arabian series. They kinda tried to use texture in the Glories, to varied effect😅 I wonder what style they'll lean into for Academy

I loved the Story and Cake coords, along with Fairy and Music ^^ Story is my all time favourite dressia because of both the theme and the creativity into the designs ^^ What I want to see in Aikatsu Academy is a fantastic cast of characters and bringing in the vibes of the OG Aikatsu seasons ^^ Great video as always ^^

I loved how unique Story was. It felt like the gothic type of this series
Shiroi is one of my favourite aikatsu characters and she definitely brought out the wonderland type beautifully her dress was so so so beautiful I love her sm🥹💕🙌🏻!!
An’s dress was also one of my favourite aikatsu dresses it definitely brought her cute motif out and it definitely suits her personality so well I think it embodies the sweet type perfectly 🥹💕🙌🏻!

Ngl I thought Pop Melon Crepe's PR version just looked like a bigger version of its rare but I do like Ivy Sleeping & Noble Leo's PR's

I'm really partial to the horoscope and story dresses, especially Sagitarrius and Alice in Wonderland...probably because Sagitarrius is my zodiac and I always love the gothic-themed dresses in all of the Aikatsu series. It's a shame we didn't get to see the majority of these other dresses in the anime. What a waste!
Right??? Some Part 2 dresses were featured in random battle stages but overall, there were a lot less coords on display
