Jakarta is a very big city . So many malls in there. Lol.
U can go to Bandung too. A city near Jakarta. Nice place to visit.
Then Yogyakarta, it a city with rich traditional culture. So many temples around Yogyakarta. Many Beaches and other tourist destination.
All those cities are located in java island.
And u can visit Bali, its an island. Land of Gods.
Lake Toba in north Sumatera.
In Papua, u can also go to Raja Ampat, u can dive in there.

Actually if you want to come to INDONESIA and make a tour you need some months to go from west to East... But the recommended place or area that usually visited by foreigners are JAVA-BALI and LOMBOK islands.

If u want to see any indonesian culture, try go to "bali" or "yogyakarta"..
But i recommended to yogyakarta, coz u just need 4 hours to go to alip ba ta home 😀

I’m Indonesian, about the religion we must to register even someone doesn’t believe in God, they must to register, because I know some people who register as muslim but never pray or go to mosque and Christian also but never go to the Church. Usually we follow the religion depends on our parents. For example I’m Christian since I was born because my parents are Christian and I learn about Christian and I believe in Jesus Christ, but sometimes people can change them religion.
Indonesia is really a beautiful country and don’t worry about the volcano, because when it will explode it have some signal like a person will get flu, they will know if they will get sick.
Actually we have a lot of beautiful mountains and hills also and usually they will have some areas to plant fruits and vegetables because we have really fertile soil. It’s the effect of the volcano after they explode.
When you come to Indonesia, you will be surprise because we have a lot of delicious fruits and sometimes you can’t even find it in your country or another country, and even our fruits is more delicious. We have a lot of different banana, mango , and oranges, etc.
My recommendation when you come to Indonesia the best place to eat are not the big restaurant but eat in side of the way or small restaurant. This is important if you don’t like to eat something spicy, you need to tell the restaurant to make it not spicy or they will make it spicy. Indonesian people love to eat spicy food, imagine if one small woman like me can eat one plate of fried rice with 21 small chili 🌶 (the most spicy chili).
Indonesian people are nice and they like to help others, even the video you saw said we have the most muslims population in the world, we have a big Church also. And from the video you saw it’s not complete yet, and it’s to long to explain because to learn Indonesian geography will need years. And to visit Indonesia 1 month is not enough to visit all place. Don’t forget to visit pink beach in lombok island, it’s really beautiful.
Well bro i recomended you to visit Indonesia one day,and enjoy the nature beauty of this country and the friendly people out there, l myself was indonesian born, but now Malaysia citizen and stay in Malaysia 👌

my suggestion is if u first time go to Indonesia then u should go to Jakarta first ( but is up to you),not all island in Indonesia have active vulcanic mountain, Borneo ( Kalimantan ) island is one of Indonesian island who dont have active vulcanic mountain..
Indonesia has many islands, from large to small, such as my home, Banyuwangi, with many beautiful beaches, one of which is the red island, or the Ijen crater, blue fire, turtle roots, in Sukomade.
If you want to go to Indonesia, you must know what kind of vacation you'd like to have, and.. Find a local guide, or a native friend, just to help you cope with language barrier.
Speaking about vacation, you can visit Yogyakarta for cultural experience, and its people also way more friendlier. If you like to go all in, you can always visit Bali, yeah, I know this place is the most popular among others.
