I live in uk . My daughter studied at government school (state school) now she's doing medicine in university of cambridge she took best results in this country she got 5 A* the top results . She didn't go any private tuition at all she studied by her self. No matter which school go you have to work hard. She first year student but she already works in uk hos and she get training in Australia also she's working at Sydney hospital ..if you work hard anything you can achieve. Im a single parent please don't pamper the kids always.

Exactly and moreover all the schools just teach it's parents who r making the kids learn so no point searching for the best school and all.... Better put them in a normal school near ur house and u spend some time ur kids will be great.... I'm talking from My experience... My kids study I sishya but I need to spend extra money for extra classes and I spend extra time to teach them.... I even left my job to sit with them... So thinking that school alone will build ur kid is utter nonsense... It's we parents who r responsible for our kids

I remember the day i met her , she said don't force the kid and expect much putting more on child we will take care . We assure he will learn better from us. Don't worry. As she said he got all " A ". I JUST have to check his home work. Exam class test any other activity he does by hime self learn in the school. Now in abroad he is eassy going happy communicating with all his peer group.
Please all government teachers teach honestly with same hard work as private school teacher, govt English teacher must know proper English,and parents also put pressure on improving teaching methods equally to all learning (Quick or slow, medium,poor)types of children.

Education is very expensive in India.. When we were in Oman, my kids were studied in Indian school.After moving to India to our surprise, the fees is more expensive than oman.. But here, the educational model or infrastructure is not upto the standard.. But we pay high fees for low standard.
To be honest, my opinion is to put kids in government schools. Only when the parents change their mindset, the private institution cannot loot our hard earned money..

Gopi anna' s question yellam semmma.... Ssvm Global is the costliest school in coimbatore... Even application form itself 2k that too online registration for SSVM matriculation... per year including donation 3 lakhs... Not only this school many schools r very costly.. Because of these high standard education.....inferiority, inequality and discrimination r developed.. parents r also chasing behind these costly schools....Both r responsible for these kind of different standard of education system

First of all, ALL private schools incl SSVM need to focus on those Students who are left behind in every Class. I'm a Teacher and I know the quality of the Students from private schools in Coimbatore.

Iam in UK my child miss his SSVM school in cbe. Child must love going school, he never made tantrum going school and now he tells of we go back india I want to be in ssvm school.

Social status plays the major role in selecting these curriculum , parent s become prey for these prestigious institutions .At the end of the day, institutions need state ranks to maintain their business .Along with academic kids have to learn the world , so parents don’t worry about any curriculum, world is the school, every one is the teacher .our role is to encourage and guide them by being a best role model .Don’t worry about school and curriculum .lets raise happy kids and learning happens in an encouraging environment .lets raise a life long learner’s, they will give back to the society .

I have been waiting for this topic for a long time.However the two points that I can’t agree is that education is not costly and it’s affordable in India,esp.Tamil nadu .Like she said the concept is the same and teaching methods are different in IB, and global learning centers.From day one the kids are told by the parents that study well and you can go to America as if there is no other place exist. It’s so sad that parents are struggling to put their kids in kinder care.The schools have raised their tuition to transport in lakhs .Making changes is a long process and the parents have to take a stand against the govt.and the institutions.we copy the wrong things from other countries where education is free until 12th grade and they are zoned according to the place where they are living.This apply to the colleges too acc.to their grade and the state they live in.They can apply to other state as out of state applicants and pay more tuition fee in their college level.Since India is a vast country it’s difficult to change the structure.However the govt.should pass law stating educational institutions should have the same fee for all schools and teacher salaries should be a fixed income for all schools with different levels(elementary.high school,)So many changes has come now in India and it’s not hard to make this one .Like she said it’s up to the students to go for their choice of study when they go to college.Instead under the pretext of IB,Global learning they mint the money and put pressure on parents as well as on students.It’s not a popularity contest it’s the right for all the students.Soon we believe the changes will come and make learning enjoyable,affordable and tension free for parents!!

But however we shld deftly start making + ve changes
We like it or not...govt schools dont perform efficiently,though they are being paid so well with 100% job security
These 2 factors are actually deterent to the performance of teachers since they know..whether they do their job or not..they are going to be paid well and would never lose their job
Now govt school staff wouldnt like to hear thir truth..but it is indeed the truth
That is why,parents who cant afford also put their children in private schools and break their backs in an effort to pay the fees
Some changes/ laws must be brought in to make govt schools to perform better and private schools to charge affordable fees

I joined my son in a school which was few yards away from my house but very small,,only thing i asked whether they are having recognition,but i tought every thing essential for life, now he is engineer highly paid,whch myself did not expect . every family should give sufficient time to study for their children, instead in a famouse school for away

In India only education costly it's true... My relatives in US and their kids are studying in govt school only. In other countries free education is too good.
I am paying 2.3 lakhs per annum for 1st grade! India is very costly and there should be strict regulations in place to check all these things!
