    Just when you think it's finished, it keeps on going. Sweet.

    Amazing turnout but more stewards needed to coordinate the crossovers. Looks like the Police didn’t think there would be as many as the first half of the march looked good and compact but the last half of the march was spilt up into small groups which took the affect away of the size of the march as lots of people coming across these small sections before going on their way would have thought there were not many on the march. Hopefully the organisers can get this sorted for future marches and make sure if the Police are going to break up the march they do so in larger groups. Also if the head of the march were aware they could have stopped a few times to let the other groups join up again.

    thanks for filming this, for those of us who were there, those who could not make it and more importantly for the record. We know, that other news outlet of the same name as is all mainstream media are controlled by the union. How about crowdfunding for a helecopter for next big event?

    Three miles long and Eighty thousand plus strong,
    From Kelvin Grove down tae Glasgow green.
    Saltire’s flying high, Tories out ! was the cry,
    The biggest Indy march the country's ever seen.
    Electric atmosphere, with hope over fear,
    the pipes and drums, they were utterly resounding.
    Eighty thousand marching feet, made the day so complete,
    All they want is that the red / blue Tories get a pounding.
    It goes without saying, its not some game we’re playing,
    The media just don’t see the seriousness of this occasion.
    We will fight till this is won, with our hearts and not the gun,
    SCOTLAND WILL BE AN INDEPENDENT NATION !!!!

      Dream on! Official police numbers for whole event 35,000. Sizeable demonstration and you all must have felt great. Can't wait 'till over 2million and growing stroll to the ballot box and tell you NO.

      Pat, I`ll bet you believe everything that the media tells you too! :) Though, in fairness, given that your account looks fake - you`re probably part of the aforementioned! As an aside, the "union" will never attract great numbers to a march because most people, apart from orange bedecked bigots and paid trolls that is, have absolutely no passion for it ! :)

      Now, now, Peter - that`s not the way to invite polite discourse. :) Still, you`re a British nationalist and therefore know no better.

    • @hashburystumble6021
      @hashburystumble6021 Před 6 lety +2

      Sorry, but what it means is that you prefer to stick with the status quo, meaning Westminster rule, where no matter the make-up of the government, the wishes of the majority of Scottish MPs can be ignored.
      That makes you a British nationalist.
      Please excuse the capital 'N' in my previous post as I did not wish to suggest you might be BNP like the leading counter-demonstrator in Union St.

    • @Smudgell
      @Smudgell Před 6 lety

      We are over-represented my man, we comprise 8% of the population yet have 10% of MPs in the house of commons. We possess a parliament with power over a plethora of devolved powers. We maintain relative autonomy yet with all the benefits of British industry and subsidies. I like my identity, but I also enjoy the Union and the benefits we garner from it-if that makes me a British nationalist so what.

    • @hashburystumble6021
      @hashburystumble6021 Před 6 lety

      Actually nearer 9% of MPs (59/650) & 8.5% population but your figures only serve to show that any number of Scottish MPs can be outvoted by the MPs of either Conservative or Labour.
      What nonsense is the term "relative autonomy" What nonsense your term "British" industry & "subsidies" are also spurious in nature. You have obviously never read the McCrone Report or ever questioned why it was kept 'Secret'
      Scotland did not benefit from the Falklands War nor did it benefit from the Iraq War. The financial crash emanated from the mis-management of the economy under the Blair Brown governments & the social housing crisis was caused by the Thatcher government.
      BUT as you ask that if that makes you a British nationalist - so what ? I would remind you of your original post - Blind nationalism.

    While the SNP leadership want to take power from Westminster and immediately hand it to Brussels the Scottish people won’t vote for Independence. The only thing that surprises me is that Nicola can’t see that.

      Resident evil try telling the Spanish, Greek, Italian, Hungarian and French etc etc etc people that. The only country that’s benefits from this Euro madness is Germany, it makes their exports cheaper. And the bureaucrats in Brussels whose MEPs enjoy their €300,000+ salaries

    • @Domini_k
      @Domini_k Před 6 lety

      If the only country which benefits from the Euro ? is Germany, then why do countries want to Join it. I mean look at how far the UK has benefited from declaring to leave it. Talking of MEPS, wasn't nigel farage one ?
