Savage/Childlike Hulk is the only one that seems to dislike Bruce. However, he still exists to protect Bruce. He keeps Bruce alive when things might kill him. He’s the self preservation needed. But, as I said at the start, he does partially represent Banner’s self loathing, and that means he must show hate toward Bruce. He doesn’t always, but there are times where he does. It’s anger, and resentment, toward himself, and toward Bruce as a result

Hulk and Banner are defining forms of tragedy characters. Both are impressive in their own way, Banner being a brilliant scientist and Hulk being an immense force of physical power but ultimately they want nothing more than to be rid of each other.

Out of all the animal in the zoo it's estimated only 17% of the animal are endangered in the zoo. The number could be lower but that's the fact. People don't want to come just to see endangered animal hence they host a lot of animal so do tell me what happen to the other 85% of the animal in there? Most of the animal are depress because of the limited space and constant appearance of human. Tell me which of the zoo in the first world country that provide enough space for the animal. polar bear for example have a home range of about 31000 square miles. Provide me one zoo that can give such huge scale for their animal. And that release animal into the the wild thing, you need money to do so hence only program with money injected be able to provide such things. Since zoo can't release animal into the wild without money, guess what happen to excess animal from breeding? They kill it. Yeah that's the reality. Zoo need money to maintain animal in the zoo so when there is excess there's a need for money. Why invest in the excess of animal when there is no benefit to it so they did what they need to do. The Hulk is a metaphor for trauma and how trauma impacts those you love through anger, isolation, and refusal to change. Old banner is the wisdom that comes at the end of life and the regret that comes with a life of being damaged and damaging others. Even when death relieves you of the suffering your trauma lives on in the consequences of what you did to others. That is the true tragedy of the Hulk and this story.
I remember reading this in a book, back when various authors wrote novels based on Marvel characters. This was in a book compilation called "The Ultimate Hulk", and it was a short story titled The Last Titan. Interesting that it was adapted into a comic. A comic based on a story based on a comic. Circle of life, i guess.
This is one of those truly sad example of be careful what you wish for because you just might get it and end up regretting it

Man, I would love to see someone take this story from here. Like don't get me wrong, I love what they've done with titan hulk, but this. I would love to see what someone could do with this. It just seems like there's a lot to explore, and really give the Hulk his own story completely without Bruce.

The elders are the last survivors of species evolved right after the Big Bang, humankind can’t even be considered a newborn baby compared to them. Only to the oldest beings was granted this title and powers, it’s not like any last survivor of a species becomes an elder of the universe

Actually he would, not because of his regeneration but because Thanos cursed him to never die. The chick he liked was more into him so he decided to make sure they could never be together.
Probably Wolverine too and a few of the more invulnerable Earth-based heroes like Blue Marvel, Sentry and Hyperion. Maybe Wonder Man and Thor too: both have survived a nuke before. Thor would likely head off to Asgard, if not already there when the bombs hit and the others head into space. The likes of Reed Richards and Doom would likely find a way to survive too.

The bugs aren't stronger there's just so many that it's impossible for him to regenerate fast enough and he's too stupid to realize his super thunder clap would easily kill them plus it's the plot device to keep the story from ending let's be honest if he wanted to and actually tried and used his true power One thunderclap would turn them into dust but obviously it wouldn't be a very interesting story 😂🤣

This story makes zero sense to me how would hulk be the only one to survive? There are alot of heros and villains who could have survived that easily . Juggernaut? Deadpool? Thor etc. Hulk wouldn't really be alone

How is hulk left? Idk much about this comic, only that hulk is old and alone, but what about red hulk? Abomination? I can only really think of other angry giants 🤷♂️
Actually, the interpretation of the ending is not correct. If you read the actual story, at the beginning when Bruce is sitting alone, he indicates that HE FEELS COLD. When Bruce thinks about why the Hulk will not allow him to die, Bruce indicates that "He (the Hulk) NEVER FEELS COLD ... OR LOVE ... OR ANYTHING BUT ANGER". However, at the end of the story when the Hulk is sitting alone, the last thought that he has is that HE FEELS COLD. Since the Hulk doesn't feel COLD, this indicates 2 things: That Bruce Banner has NOT died and still resides inside the Hulk; And the Hulk is beginning to change back into Bruce Banner again (since he is beginning to "feel" the cold - which is actually Bruce feeing the cold).
Hmmm... Guess that means Hulk DID in fact come to terms with what Bruce was telling him if that's the case. Then again, he'd be stubborn about it.
My God that makes this even more utterly depressing and I just stumbled across this story like 20 minutes ago and i was so eerily invested than your point just sunk my heart. For me this is like the darkest thing from any form of entertainment
I interpreted the ending as signifying the Hulk’s character development. Bruce thought Hulk couldn’t feel anything other than anger because that’s all he ever saw in Hulk. But once the Hulk actually achieved his goal, and lost his reason for anger, he was able to feel something else for the first time. The fact hulk is capable of other emotions brings just a bit of humanity to his character, which makes the ending that much more tragic.
