Didn't you talked about the previous Cartoon Network upfront last year? Kids these days hardly ever watch shows on cable tv all thanks to streaming. Today marks the 20th Anniversary of the Cartoon Network City Era. The definitive era of CN.
2021 was the last year full of pleasant surprises for Cartoon Network due to the many surprises brought by Tom Asheim, and after this amazingly fiery year, two years began to be very suspicious, to say the least, and full of confusing things and shocking news, namely 2022, 2023, and the first 6 months of 2024. This week has brought with it special surprises, including the return of Gumball with a new season and the show, and may the coming weeks be a beacon of hope for it, for Cartoonito, for Hanna Babera in Europe, and for Warner Bros. in Japan.
A bunch of new Cartoon Network stuff was announced at Annecy this past week. A new Scooby-Doo series, Go-Go Mystery Machine, a new Regular Show sort-of spinoff, Foster's Funtime for Imaginary Friends, an Adventure Time preschool series, Heyo BMO, an AT side series and a new preschool show called Barbara Throws a Wobbler. Surprised you didn't mention those.
Don't bother, this guy just tells me what's convenient for me. A few days ago, the new CN studies and projects for the next few years finally arrived, but this man is still traumatized by the merger.
It is either WBD putting Cartoon Network down or Cartoon Network putting us down. I think it could be both. I still don't know where the 6th Ben 10 series is and why isn't it announced yet. What do you think, D.C Network?
Dc network, did you heard that Annecy announced that they are bringing back regular show, adventure time and fosters home for imaginary friends? They also have Rebecca sugar working on a new Adventure Time movie and Craig McCracken is bringing back fosters home but as fosters Funtime as a preschool show for the younger demographic.
Hey DC Network, Cartoon Network just mentioned their new upcoming projects that are coming on their Facebook page. Such as a new Regular Show TV series, Adventure Time movie, Foster's Funtime for Imaginary Friends, Go Go Mystery Machine, and more.
But i hope it goes back to having a line up like how back in the 2000's or 2010's like they really trying to give us up like they been here since like 32 years
I just got an idea from a redditor on how to save Cartoon Network. They could always copy Adult Swim’s strategy of streaming on their website. Just like old times, they could keep a solid schedule of their current shows with weekly premieres. Without even showing Cartoonito or Adult Swim or commercials. And if this were a simulcast with cable, they could replace the commercials with newly made bumpers. Preferably a new version of Powerhouse or City or even Noods bumpers. Which begs the question: how much sooner can the family friendly cable channels like Cartoon Network can be added to Pluto TV? I know it’s owned by Paramount hence their Nickelodeon channels, but they’ve partnered with other studios to add content and the new leadership said they’re looking for money where they can find it. Kids aren’t watching cable anymore but just because cable is dying doesn’t mean the brands started by those channels should die with them.
The best thing they can do as of now is just fill their channel with more variety. There is a good amount of variety currently but we need more. I say any show cartoon network has the rights to that are not checkered past shows as those are off-limits. Really variety is really the best we can get but as for upcoming content, it's definitely worrying. What's going on with Gross Girls, Battu, Jade Armor and more. Iyanu Child of Wonder has been delayed to 2025. Invincible Fight Girl is now classified as an adult swim show in Canada at least. So I am worried about Cartoon Network's Future. Cartoontio is not doing great. Adult Swim is doing better but like you said, they do not have the most appealing content. It's also sad because this was my favorite channel to tune into, it still is but it is nowhere as good as it used to be. Still I like CN more than Nick and Disney and I support it all the way.
Adventure Time returns again with two new spinoffs and a movie, Regular Show returns with a new series. I'm hoping for the same for Craig of the Creek, Jessica's Big Little World, Summer Camp Island, Victor and Valentino, Infinity Train, and Elliott from Earth to return with revivals.
CN's new productions will soon be underway along with its new productions and studios by 2025, something I agree with even if this channel does not report anything
Let's hope that when we get to 2025 will find out if Cartoon Network will bring the shows backs with new seasons and new episodes as a promising start to the new year.
@@jhoshuaayala5127 I hope so too, I suggest Warner Brothers Discovery should separate and I hope Discovery sells Warner Brothers to either Disney or Universal.
Damn bro like cartoon Network is probably not making alot of money right now differently if people don't like all this stuff and it's going downfall i don't even watch cartoon Network like that anymore like i left when all those reboots came like i would always turn on cartoon Network to watch Johny test or generator rex or Ben 10 ultimate alien or alien force or omniverse or the Looney tunes show or adventure time or regular show or gumball or watch like some things when cartoon Network sign off
I wish the woukd put toonmai everyday like they did back in the day.. the rewind one... I think it rude to only have it on fridays especially since the only showing 3 animes but there was more anime yhat helped back then too like tenchi, gundam, zoids, etc.. its just sad that they dont put rewind at 7-9 or 7-10 it wou,c do much better that way.. its annoying.. as for checked past i wish they would put code name kids next door anc the other shows on there.. it nasty who they dont put variety on the channel.. i see that CN is bring back adventure time regular show, and gumball. But their isnt any new shows to start the new era anc its very sad..
Cartoon Network Come on I did heard That Regular Show is Coming Back and Adventure Time Movie and Show And The TAWOG Coming Back Movie and New Season now people said Gravity falls coming back
Yeah I said the same thing, he probably recorded this video days ago before the news. I hope he makes a new video about the announcements at the Annecy film festival.
This guy doesn't know how to report anything regarding CN. He only relies on data that came out in 2021. Three years later, CN has new studios and will soon acquire Warner Animation.
Today marks the 20th Anniversary of Cartoon Network CNCity era!!!

Paramount hasn’t had any upfront since 2022
