The paintwork is outstanding ! I have always loved the Luftwaffe camouflage from circa 1942 onwards - those aircraft were works of art in themselves.
I built an Airfix Model of this "thing" when I was a kid. I was proud of it and thought it looked really cool but when I read the history of it I was disappointed. They were literally flying coffins. This model is a bit better than mine. Just a bit. Ha Ha. Can't even t believe the instructions are in colour.
I learned about its history and flaws too

Even though you had issues with that kit, you made it look good. To the majority of people that would look at it they would say it's amazing. Fantastic model, some time ago I read a suggestion about the wings of bombers, to avoid that they eventually folds under their weight you can insert a metal rod between the fuselage and the wings(the diameter of the rod being the same of a modeler's round file)
A really cool looking bomber! You did a fantastic job. I built this kit back in 1979 but it wasn't any way as detailed as this kit... Salute!
Brilliant work. Excellent control of the airbrush during the (long) mottling process. Appreciate the tips throughout. Thanks for taking time to do this; doesn't happen by itself.

A thing of beauty! I am now too old, and I doubt if my arthritic fingers could even open the box...but I am just (relatively) happy to watch skills like this.
Dug this kit out of my collection after seeing some videos on YT about this aircraft. Could not believe how rare and expensive this kit is even after looking on ebay for one. Always remember the old Airfix kit as a kid. Bought the Revell one about 2006 from a local model shop and have never had the time to build it. I think this video will tempt me to give it a crack as working from home I have a bit more spare time on my hands!
Being a modeller for so long now, I hardly get impressed over the You Tube videos. I will make an exception for this one. That Mottling was so very well done and requires a lot from hand and wrists. Amazing job here mate!!! Cheers!

This thing is more beautiful than a B-17, I would say even the 29, such a unique design. I know it was far from perfect, but I still in awe how good looking it is. Excellent realisation. The camo pattern application was madness. 🎉🎉🎉

Impressed by your work - like many I made Airfix and Revell etc. models in my youth (1970s) but the efforts were never as good. I don't remember airbrushes being around, and might have found them too expensive for me. So basically it was paintbrushes.
