my two gym shorts that ive had since the 2010's - lulu pace breaker lined (7inch) and apex shorts (5 inch) from gymshark, lulu for chest and back apex to show the quads on leg day and cardio
I got a bunch of Lulu shorts like the ones you suggested. I find them a little baggy, wide leg opening when wearing a form fitting top. The RVCA fits little better.
The pace breakers or license to train line?? I also find the pace breakers baggy, but for me the LTT shorts are plenty tapered. I’m gonna have to try a pair of RVCA, they look nice!
Bro, YOU DIDN'T EVEN BUY THEM 😂😂😂 Never in my life have I seen a review video where you don't even have the product.
It wasn’t a review video, nor did I title it as that. People make videos without the product all the time and simply suggest what to buy (especially small CZcamsrs that use there own money). Since a lot of these shorts aren’t my style I’m not going to buy them, but other people have found the references plenty helpful. Have a good one Shayne
🤣
😂😂😂 wtf
At no point was this video ever said to be a review. It's a buyers guide. Like any buyer's guide, it would literally be impossible to own every product on the market. I took this as him simply giving a framework to shop around. And giving an idea what brands to look at kind of just getting people started if they Don't Really Know where to start. A buyers guide as it is titled. Now, if you titled this video a review of a certain brand and never owned it then that would be pretty ridiculous. But just like if someone asked for you to help them buy a car, you can give a lot of good advice even though you haven't owned every car and driven every car. You can still set them up with a good foundation on what to look for and where to look. Same kinda idea here.
damn you really made yourself look dumb
I wear vintage soccer shorts.... Umbro, Diadora, Puma, Adidas, etc. They are fun and shorter.
Thanks for all the links. Style preference, height, weight and body type seem to be significant factors. Those Lululemon look incredibly boring and just like any other short to me. Ditto the Nikes. But I typically want a short with more color, some print (e.g. Vuori style Neptune Stripe) and trim designs. Typically want something much more body fit/tapered if rocking huge thighs. The ARSV 5 inch look awesome on their website but currently sold out. The RVCA are stylish imo. When I am in shape, I have a size 31/32 waist (i.e. ~33 inches depending on my diet), ~165 lbs, 5'7, 30" inseam, 24 - 25 inch thighs, 16.5" calf muscles.
Like the clean look of Alo
Under Armour, , 5inch running shorts = 🔥
I’m looking for comfort & function. I needs & want pockets preferably 1 zipped & a back pocket zip or button. The reality of it is, we are carrying a card & or phone around a large complex.
I have really thick thighs and big glutes.. which ones would you recommend for someone who wants a little bit more room without my butt sticking out lol Thanks.
Thank you for this video! It's really helpful.
Anytime!!
Do you prefer cotton or polyester shorts? for indoor and for working out (maybe different for both?)
Trying to buy new shorts online, so hard!! I don't like double layer shorts but it doesn't tell anywhere
Great question! I like a short that’s a bit more rigid for training in the gym. My favorite is the LTT short from lulu which is made from nylon and polyester! I would personally just avoid the dri-fit material look
@@alexnicoll95 What's dri-fit? Isn't Polyester considered drifit
@@SimplyTheBestCSGO yea it is!! And that’s a much thinner material that drapes around your legs. Whereas a short like the ASRV, lulu LTT, or the gymshark arrival are thicker and more rigid. They’re still made of polyester but a lower percentage blend. I just think these look the best and would recommend that look
1:27 why do you say with the 5 inch shorts you need to wear a liner? do you wear nothing under longer shorts? but great review and comparison
Great point! I meant more so you should have a liner with that short of a short (which I don’t like to do) so if that’s the case wear a compression brief style underwear. Sorry I wasn’t very clear about that. Glad you enjoyed the video!
@@alexnicoll95 you're welcome! but yeah I don't understand your point that you'd need a liner for shorter shorts, unlike longer ones? so you don't happen to wear longer shorts without underwear even for comfort?
Yeah actually I just subscribed I feel like your future videos will interest me
@@hrrrrrrr2084 the point being that you don’t want anyone to see a body part that you wouldn’t want seen! Haha and that’s more likely to happen with a 5” short. Some people wear boxers which are much looser and can be exposing with some shorts! But hey, so glad to hear you subbed thank you!!
@@alexnicoll95 haha sure let's keep them private but still they shouldn't be longer than the shorts even in 5 inch haha. Yeah but comfort should be the priority it's comfier to wear looser boxers than tight boxers but then one should be a little more careful right. 7 inch is too long and restrictive for most people
Squats I hate when they ride up when I stand after squatting each time. Do the lu lemon eliminate that from happening?
Obviously!
Don't ask silly questions..
I feel weird when I go to the gym and someone has the same short. 😂
asrv -never knew they weere that expensive
CRAZY pricey 😅😂
Princekumar❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️👌👌
nice clean gym fit
Can’t beat a good gym fit🔥

@@alexnicoll95I can't get in toch with you, could you check your email, Regina~
A good tip is not to buy from places like Nike, adidas etc. better off buying from places like Fitness Engineering, Gymshark etc. way better quality and prices
When you say, "not my style",,, I just see shorts that all look similar with drawstrings..Theyr'e indistinguishable from 15 feet away.
I’m 5’8 what length of pace breaker should I get
In my opinion 5”
@@alwarithalkhusaibi7902 I got 7
I'd go 5in, or 7 if you prefer a little more length. Anything more than that will just make you look shorter (coming from a 5'9 guy)
@fogpivvl8341 what do you think about the length of the swimming trunk for 5'7"?
Princekumar👍👍👍❤️❤️❤️🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹
Does Lulu advertise this "lifetime warranty?"
I wouldn’t say they advertise it because they don’t want the masses coming and taking advantage of it. Like I said in the video though, I’ve done it a few times and it works!
i get it lululemon got amazing shorts but 88 dollars for shorts is wild
Totally fair!!
i just want shorts in bulk, like a 10 pack
None are good for running in my opinion as they are getting wet while running. I think swim trunks are way better for running
Ten thousand brand
Ten Thousand...
$60 and up? Yea......i think walmart shorts will suffice
Inseams are too long and they don't have zippered pockets
Ewwwww... gymshark
hahahah I know right
Lulus look great! May I ask your height, weight, waist size and sizes purchased for the Pace Breakers and License to Train?
@@adriankelly1993 They always do!!! Of course, sorry I forgot to add that. I weigh 180 pounds, 5'11", 31" waist, Medium for all bottoms and large for all tops!
why? brand image, quality, or design?
Ten Thousand interval shorts are hands down the best I’ve tried.
Good liner, tough fabric for barbells contact, they don’t ride up when squatting and they hold up extremely well over time. I’ve got 7 pairs now.
The shorter the better, 3 inch inseam or less, built in panties, or anything from the early 80s or before. Bright colors. The bags they sell to guys today are wretched. Too long and baggy. Too drab. I know that is to cover up boxer underwear but yuck! Some of the best are the 80s Dolphin shorts and other silkies. Most guys really don't care what they wear so the designers create crap. The girls get all the colors. Guys, it is office colors - black, dark blue, dark grey. And yards of baggy cloth.
How much did Lulu pay you? They are overpriced and overrated
I stopped listening as soon as you said Lululemon
