i just hope bora is able to make it to the next round because its a crime that one of the best main vocalist in the show has to rap as one of her missions. she did slay but being a main vocal is what she excels at and will get viewers to be impressed and start voting for her.
I think she can, planet pass exists and she deserve it

the mere fact that the artist himself told Manami to continue rapping after performing a rap song for the first time tells a lot of her potential gosh she's one of my top picks now and ngl she has a lovely personality as what I've seen so far

ngl We Are team had a huge chance to win the "per 3 teams". Imagine their pressure that the og artist of their song was watching in front of them and also the fact that it was only their first time writing and rapping yet they ATE AND SPAT FIRE DURING THEIR PERFORMANCE!!
For now I also thought that the performance was more interesting than the group of Hikaru, Soyeon and Zige. But we will see how the others will do. I'm definitely rooting for them.

When I saw Bora got rap position in We Are I could not help but laugh at first because I never imagined her rapping after how AMAZING her voice is. But the We Are stage really blew me away! All 3 trainees did well like MANAMI ATE THAT UP AND LEFT NO CRUMBS
I'm sad the judges didn't acknoledge Reina and praise her vocals. I mean we were all expecting the judges to say something about her, but nothing...
Mnet is showing their preference so blatantly. So unfair for Reina :'(
they probably did praise her, it's more than likely that after performances, they talk about each member. it's probably all because of mnet sadly that it was not included, you know how mnet is.
Reina is one of my top picks and she is good at singing and dancing, but doesn't get much screentime.
I think Mnet is cutting the episodes to keep them as short as possible (maybe because people won't watch it if it's too long), but I don't care. The judges should comment on every member's performance and give some criticism and that has to be shown to get to know the girls better.

They seems very fair and caring. More likely Mnet didn't air them praising her. Example, they chose Hyerim for the planet pass saying that the group won because of her leadership when everyone only saw Chaehyun as the hero of the group. (Chaehyun is lovely and talented don't get me wrong). The judges noticed Hyerim but up until then Mnet's editing completely ignored her.
Bora, Wen Zhe and Manami. OMFG I hope they make it they did soooo well. I was like so proud watching them.
And Bora is just a delight to watch. She makes everyone feel comfortable. They are all good rappers despite it being new for them.
Manami just like the judges reaction surprised me the most. She’s a good vocalist but can totally be a rapper too
I personally think that the “ICE CREAM” team really slayed✨. Like it was prolly some of the best performances of GIRLS PLANET 999.And Bahiyyih my baby really did prove herself. Now if someone calls her untalented I’ll be throwing hands on them. PERIODTT😌☺️💅

In terms of showcasing versatility, We Are team SLAYED. None of them align themselves as rap talent trainees but sought to step outside their comfort zone and did it with absolute finesse. The performance was so solid, you wouldn't even believe they had little experience before that stage performance.

But it was great for make the girls being more united with each other and make some friendships and not being alone on the experience, and having someone who can support helps so much, actually, i liked the cell thing, is sad seeing my favorite cell to disband(YXY, all of them are my top picks)
Although I highly agree, I think in MNET’s perspective it was a lot easier this way because if it had been individual voting the competition would’ve been much harder to have such a big number of talented ppl it would be hard to let them go and give each person enough and fair screen time, the competition would’ve been much tighter. But having eliminated a big number of girls with some girls (in my opinion) not rlly cut out to have even made the cut makes it easier for the ones whom deserved it to shine more if that makes sense. Felt like the cells was another cruel move from Mnet but I kinda understand.
Dayeon impressed me so much with her leadership and performance. I mean the Ice Cream performance was amazing. And the fact that she created the choreo fully is just insane. Such a great choreo!
This episode changed my voting lineup sooo much like manami , wen zhe , kim dayeon, ruan , and finally xin yu ( the blonde one who rapped in missing you) also hye won and an jeongmin I loved them they did so well but I barely saw anyone talk about and I think they are on verge of elimination....

Something i hate about the show is that when the episode where the other groups perform airs that's when voting ends. But just like you my voting lineup changes after seeing people perform so it's annoying that even if i find new faves next week i won't be able to vote for them cause voting ends

I don't actually think Yaning is as bad as people make her seem, she is just really bold and has a lot of confidence. She will do anything to help her get to the next round, which is why she said Mashiro's team won last time so she trust her.
To be very honest even though it looked like a disadvantage for Bora to get the rap song, she completely turned it to her advantage with her amazing rapping and also writing such great lyrics for Manami. I was very impressed so I gave her my vote.
this episode is probably the best so far. except that part where they brought back the eve team's moments during interim check and then put B&W filter over it like, yeah we know hikaru and suyeon are "reminiscing" that situation but mnet could've just leave it. dayeon is already eliminated and it's lowkey disrespectful for them to do that

Hikaru and Suyeon were acting like kids tho. They were high key complaining about having to help their ONE teammates when there is people like Dayeon who created the entire choreo by herself for 9 members and Bora who wrote most of Manami’s rap. They think bc they are popular they can do whatever they want to do.

Dayeon and Bora are great examples of how to creative positive group dynamics. Their groups essentially had perfect chemistry which almost guarantees an amazing performance
I really love We Are team dynamic. Despite they didn't want to do rap they give their best and very caring for each other, they don't look like they rap because they didn't have a choice. I enjoy their performance the most in this episode. Also as we know Bora leadership never dissappoint, its so sweet that she help write Manami rap before her own.
Its the second time Bora and Manami in the same team, and Bora is so sweet in both of the time cheering and complimenting Manami so she got the confident boost that she need. Also Wen Zhe really added the nuance for the performance.
The mission is called combination mission, so I think for this episode We Are team is the best combination therefore they deserve to win (per this episode alone, we don't know how the other 3 member team will be yet)
Bora Cell surprised me a lot, MAIN VOCALIST BORA, HAS A FLOW...WOW, THE TONE..wow...Manami surprised US a lot, She Is an hidden main Rapper and Wen ZHE Attitude, YAS. they were already my top choices before this and...now...they Will remain
Manami plays a traditional Japanese drum, so she has good sense of rythm
Manami is my pick and i was so stressed because mnet wasn't giving her screentime but in this ep SHE ATE THAT RAP so proud😭
I think “We Are” team have a huge chance to win. It was amazing like if it wasn’t their first time rapping. I really like it plus the original artist was there and he was so surprised and congratulate them. I enjoyed their performance the most and better than the “No Excuses” one and also they had great teamwork!!! They helped each other with lyrics and confidence

I like the groupings in this episode since you can see a lot more trainees compared to the previous ones. Unpopular trainees are getting screen time if they are in a smaller group and gets to showcase their talent.

My favorite part of this episode was when cute lil Liang Jaio said she wanted to be the leader of her team cuz she was the oldest. And she said since it worked for Yaning, she wanted to try herself lol. She didn't get to be the leader but it was so funny and cute, just another reason to love her :)

Probably the best episode in terms of editing . Like I actually enjoyed it a lot. And I like how the girls chose the songs they wanted to do by going through doors and seeing who else chose it.
I think they should do it like that going forward! Anyway a lot of trainees had screen time. I was really happy about that. Although some of the choices the team made was so confused. I sat there confused like the other trainees.

Same with Kim Dayeon, I was always wondering about her placing but this episode I was like "ohhhh now I get it". Personally I found Cai Bings behavior a bit of, I really don't understand why everyone is simping for her. But yeah 🤷🏼♀️
All the teams did a good job, but personally the We Are team (Bora, Wen Zhe, Manami) was the most stood out to me. I mean they defied expectation with such an ace performance despite being out of their comfort zone.
Please note, Yurina applied for the killing part and was voted to have it but after the interim check, she gave it to Reina. People keep getting this wrong.
@@aristeo7495 While I agree Mnet is evil for not giving any screen time to Reina and possibly cutting out any praises to Reina. She did get screentime during the musical performance and it was obvious who the main vocalist was. It is the fault of the audience who continues to spread misinformation that Yurina got the killing part when she didn't. And because people keep spreading this I have seen many comments degrading Yurina's vocal ability. Saying she does not deserve to be the main vocalist when she isn't one.

@@xcl3472 Have you ever heard of show don't tell, Mnet may not have told you directly that the main vocalist (killing part) was changed but if you refer back to the episode "czcams.com/video/zlPtG3lONOk/video.html" Yurina literally speaking said, " I think we should rethink the killing part". Yurina knew her limits as a vocalist and for the sake of the team changed parts.

I really liked We Are and Ice Cream performance, for now are my fav, in both times I was shocked by all the trainees. Wen Zhe, Bora and Manami if I didn't know them I probably thought they were rappers and in Ice Cream, everyone really have a spot, I clearly saw it. Dayeon did very well and Bahiyyih is always making progress, Myah is always the cutest and Ruan even if she was in trouble at first she did very well. Hsinwei really became better from the beginning of the program an for me that I watched also ywy2 really made progress now! Also Tammy, Nientzu, Ririka and Ayaka did very very well!

I'm worried about Bora and Hyerim getting eliminated, they are honestly two of the top three vocalists for girls planet and would be a total asset to the debut group. Especially Hyerim, she doesn't have group to go back to after this and it breaks my heart.

Kim Bora is my top pick, she's so nice and my favorite vocal. I'm really scared that she could be eliminated. If you are looking for a main vocal to add to your lineup. I want to very kindly ask everone to check her out and consider voting for her, you won't regret it.
If y'all want a great main dancer for this final group, then you HAVE to vote for Kim Suyeon. The past survival show winnners all had great main dancers (e.g. Chungha, Chaeyeon). If you want to brag about the new group having a great dance line then you need her in this lineup

I'm glad the judges acknowledged how hard it is to perform in a different language when you're not fluent. Minami killed it i was literally blown away she must have practiced so hard. Bora and Wenzhe were great teammates. Ice Cream was def the best GP999 stage ive seen so far i want an Mcountdown stage NEOW. Dayeon was def the foundation of the team and the members looked like they had fun on stage, they fit the bubbly, energetic concept so well. No Excuses was good too. Suyeon and Hikaru ate downnn as usual. Yang Zi Ge is soo underrated and talented, yall dont talk about her enough :/ The dance trainer made a great point abt Hikaru's facial expressions it's something she has to work on in future episodes. Honorable mentions this week: Kim Dayeon, Ikema Ruan and Minami.

My favs from last night were We Are and the Ballad group. I don't know why but neither of the dances sucked me in completely this episode. Bora SLAYED. Manami SLAYED. An Jeong Min SLAYED. Reina SLAYED.
Also the dang "coaches", I wanted to k word the insensitive guy who was like "it's not even a high note" while yurina was having a break down! Maybe talk to her nicely and rationally when she's calmed down 🙃 also the rapper giving decent advice and comments! 😍 Why can't mnet edit in the actual coaches constructive comments too. They edit too much out of them and it just makes them all look so bad.
I am very excited for Yujin group, Salute group, and Mashiro next week 😍

Reina really over powered Yurina’s vocals ,like ngl I couldn’t hear Yurina’s voice so I felt like I couldn’t judge it and just listened to what the judges had to say.

She has gotten so little screen time the past 6 episodes, but anyone with eyes/ears can see/hear that this girl has talent!! SHE MUST DEBUT.

Before the Ice Cream performance I didn't see the potential and skill Bayiih had. I really didn't see why she was so popular, but after the performace I can see that she can actually debut. I think she has really good stage precense and dance skills. I hope we can see more of her vocals or rap in the future
Edit: I have been rooting for Da Yeon since the beginning when she did Pop Stars so I am so freaking happy that she is getting recognition for her skills. I really want her to debut, she's so talented.
The girl has literally had forgettable performance after performance week in week out yet people like you try & act like she has some kind of crazy potienal. She has zero stage presence. Her facial expressions are non existent. She has average at best singing. Can't rap. Average dancing. The cold hard truth and fact is she should have been eliminated already. There were girls who actually deserved to survive but got eliminated while this girl survives after doing nothing. It's pathetic

Shes been carried all this way because of popularity but more than likely that will end soon. I'm personally excited for the "My House" team. First, Wang Yale my #1 pick is there. Second, she is kind of getting the evil editing treatment, so I want to know how all the drama of it turns out. Third, the combination their group is quite interesting.
Also, I don't think any other team aside from "Fate" can top the "Ice Cream" team.
Fate and Ice Cream aren't going to battle, but yeah, I have high expectations for Fate for what they shown in the preview
@@xcl3472 Well they sure aren't but I meant like in terms of all the performances in Round 2. Crossed fingers that "Fate" would give us as amazing a performance as the preview made it out to be.
Now, I'm scared. I really wanted Hyerim to make it til the end. I just hope they do better than Team Ice Cream. But, honestly, I highly doubt it. Da Yeon's performance easily made her in my top list.

I really liked the switching up of songs so that it would make for more unique performances, like a dance performance of a slow, sensual song, and a new arrangement of songs like My House or In the Morning. Also, if those two songs were dance performances, I could imagine people just doing the original choreography LOL

ANOTHER THING i wanted to add! So many ppl are sadly jumping on the suyeon and hikaru hate train bc of their evil editing (same with ppl underestimating yang zige's skills). Some of ya'll will literally complain abt evil editing and yet fall for it 😭Hikaru and suyeon are not bullies, and zige's not a victim so PLEASE be careful of mnet. They know damn well since they can't manipulate the votes firsthand, they're gonna use every other trick in the book.

I thought overall this episode did show some problematic things because the cut was very mean at times. I was like don't drag this girl down. Also I'm not a fan of Yurina but the way the judged literally slapped her verbally in the face....

I also thought that was a bit over the top, usually I understand the judges being harsh but honestly from what we heard during their checkup, she wasn’t the worst one there. They all did amazingly in the end so don’t get me wrong, but half of them were worse than she was.
Manami was already one of my favourite because I really liked her during the 5th season, but seeing her rapping was just ✨amazing✨
If she doesn't pass or doesn't get the pass I'll be so mad because I've already lost Xia Yan and Vivienne, so plz vote for her...

The fact that Bora did help out Manami to slay on stage tells a lot about her potential and talent. Remember that Manami had a hard time writing out the rap lyrics and Bora did the work for her. I just hope that while Bora has a huge chance of being eliminated (looking at the votes now), Planet Pass will help her get through :(
Seriously guys, I'm not hating on your picks but please make sure someone up there will have as explosive vocal as Bora has. We can't let just debut a group with so little vocal support. Like, I know your picks can sing well, but for the group to stand out, they need someone who can do the job BEST.
Of all the best vocals in the show, Bora is the only one I saw with flexibility and it feels like when she's the main vocal of a group, I have no worries when she's the one who will sing the high note. And that's the type of main vocal I want. Similar to what I feel with Jihyo of TWICE and Wendy of RED VELVET. Like you just 100% know that they will sound good

Honestly I didn’t like the way Cai Bing acted during the picking of the leader part and killing part, her comments were kinda unnecessary, it felt as if she thought she was better than her teammates, and yeah just the whole energy of the Salute team is kinda off…
On the other hand, the We Are performance was definitely my favorite so far, I never noticed Manami before, but I’ve fell for her hard with this performance !! Bora and Wen Zhe were also amazing, and the it felt like they really enjoyed being on stage !
Istg the ice cream team came to slay. I'm so proud of dayeon for choreographing the song, like it was so strategic all the other girls were able to shine and they're also impressive. they did they parts perfectly.
tbh i was so concerned for bora wen zhe and manami cause they're vocalist but i really loved their rendition of the song. It was so fun to listen to.
Another performance i loved was yurina's group like their head voices were so great and yurina and reina's duet made me so proud.
hikaru's group was a bit underwhelming for me but it's good. Suyeon was the only one who stood out for me but zige and hikaru did a great job.
it’s obvious that mnet doesn’t want Reina in the final lineup the way she hit the best high note on the show so far and there was NO mention of it except as a tiny little footnote while they were praising Yurina 😒

After watching all the episodes, it's weird that there has been no mention of any red velvet song like they could challenge the girls to cover Red Flavor, Dumb Dumb, or even Psycho,, idk just my opinion

I love missing you by BTOB and I really like the voices of the girls who perform it, I was hoping for a more emotional performance from the team but all in all i love the performance and Yurina
i really wanted the other 9 person team to win (cai bing’s team) though they haven’t performed but ice cream ATE IT UP. I WAS SO SHOCKED. okay sorry, i was one of those people who didn’t really like da yeon because of her constantly mentioning the top9 sticker (i’m pretty sure it’s cause a mnet interviewer asked but still) ANYWAYS, her leader potential 😭😭 and the fact that she made sure everyone stood out made me have goosebumps and ahh it was amazing. the choreo and everything, i dare say best stage on pg999 so far !! we are team was hella good too, all three of them with 0 experience in rap did so well 😭😭 erika’s team was quite okay but i feel kinda bad for wang zige (is that her name?). i CRIED my eyes out for yurina’s team during the interim check i felt SO BAD for yurina and the other c group girl (so sorry i can’t remember names). i hope the next episode will continue showing amazing performances cause this episode really was amazing

I felt the same towards Da Yeon. but not gonna lie, she really did prove herself last night. I want the other team to win because Hyerim is one of my top 9 and I really do think she needs the benefit to qualify during the next elimination.
